Kenta nodded. "I lived in the nothern wolf tribes. My father was the leader... until, he died in a attack form the Birds of Paradise... alogn with my mother." He pulle dhsi legs up close. "I was kicked out after that, the clna ahd only tolerate dem cause I was the leader's son... but wiht my fathe rout of the wya, they got rid of me..." He wiped his nose. "They all died later on, in that massacer I heard about that was done by some man named Naraku."

"Naraku...." Kimi said softly to herself. She'd heard that name before, but where? "Im sorry" she managed to say after a moment of sielence. So that's why his parents are dead... she thought sadly to herself as she got back up on her feet.

"It's okay..." Kenta ran a hand over the stone. "I think... I hope, they are glad to know that I am in the care of someone wise, in his own way." He smiled and stood as well. "Come on, let's head to the river. I'd like to have a drink."

"Alright then" she said as she walked along side Kenta as they walked over to the river, that if you went up it you would reach the cave and if you went down, eventually you would reach another part of the Northern lands.

Kenta knelt down by the water and pulled out a water skin. He would've drank from it earlier, but he'd forgotten to fill it. He did so now, afterwards he drank from the river it's self. After he finished, he smiled up at Kimi. "When you see the water, what do you think of? How do you feel?"

Caught off garud by the few questions Kenta had thrown at her, she was puzzled at first but after she sorted his words out in his questions she began to think about it. "Well, when I see water I think of life" she began "and what I feel... I don't really know" she said. Her sword ,like, controled water but that didn't really affect the way she felt about water or felt about it. "Why ask?" she asked him.

Kenta shrugged. "It's just I like water, it reminds me of life as well. But it also reminds me of healing... and how time passes like that of a stream or river..." He chuckled. "but that sounds pretty corny, huh?"

Kenta tensed alittle at the question. "Yes... But only, in fear of dieing alone... with no one there to comfort me in the end." He smiled wistfully. "No one was there to comfort my parents, except eachother..."

She kneeled down next to Kenta and wrapped her arm around is shoulder, pulling him in slightly as she tryed to confort him "Well you don't have to worry about that. You're not alone" she said softly, trying to hold back a tear or two.

Kenta resisted the urge to flinch when he felt ehr touch him.. it been so long sicne anyone comforted him.. he always had to suck it up, and jsut face it like a man... But he missed this, the feeling of comforting arms around him. He smiled softly and leaned into the hold. "Thank you." He said softly.

"You're welcome" she said with a soft smile as she looked at Kenta. I bet he hasn't felt like this in a while. I sure havn't. It is nice to have some one around that knows what you're going through she thought as she looked up at the sky. It wasn't as high as it was before but she still had time before Koga would go all berzerk.

Kent alooked up as well. He sighed and patted Kimi's arm in friendly affection. He turned bakc to her. "I have to go in afew minutes, the men back at the village will wonder where I am." He said softly.

"I guess you're right" Kimi said looking at where he patted her at. She stood up, streaching her arms wide and giving a yawn "Hehe....I had night potrol last night" she said with a wide grin.
