WHat the hell is he talking about? It was a sudden thought that appeared in her head and one very unlike her, but one that made very much sense. She gave Shade a small nod, not at all recognizing him. She first wondered why he was talking to Sesshomaru on such friendly terms, secondly she wondered why he thought Sesshomaru would remotely care. He tended not to liek to et into other people's buisness. Unlike Brigantia, who seemed to be extremely nosy.
She followed closely behind Sesshomaru as they walked away from the scene. Her mind was blurred in confusion. She just could not think straight. But there was onething she did know...
"Ah, Gomenasai Sesshomaru-sama. I guess I sort of forgot that I'm not supposed to act like that in front of people.... My fther taught me that so many times. How could it have slipped my mind." she murmured, tears welling up in her large eyes eagain. She tried her hardest to keep them back. "I really am sorry. I hope you can forgive me for my foolishness."
She had never actually considered that Sesshomaru might be embaressed... or perhaps he did not want people to know because then they would target her to hurt him. The problem with that was Epsilon was not about to let this body come into the hands of other evil-doers. Also, Brigantia seemed to have a hidden side. Those who wanted to harm Sesshomaru met a terrible fate by her heands. SUch a thing already happened once.

Sesshomaru barely payed attention to any of the words that passed Shade's mouth, he didn't really care. Oh well, he was glad to get the hell out of there. Finally. Thank kami! Such thoughts ran through his head that he was surprised when Brigantia spoke, and he glanced at her from the corner of his eye as he walked. She was apologizing for something...and yet he didn't know what it is. Or maybe he did and he had forgotten about it? Maybe it had bothered him for a few seconds before leaving his mind completely? Ah well, didn't matter now.
Sesshomaru gave her a reassuring smile, as he could scent the tears forming in her eyes. "It is fine." he turned his head to look back at his path to continue.

It's fine? It's fine?
Her father would have punished her in some way for that such stupidity. Most lord would have such foolish women put to the death. Why was... Why was Sesshoamru so nice? She was in shock for a long moment, but then she smiled. The tears stopped comming, and only the remnants from her moment of sadness fell. She walked behid sesshomaru, a hand close to her mouth, hiding an extremely happy smile on her face.
She was also content to leave the sight of what ever had happened. it left her so muddled she knew not what to do about those other people. The young woman she had seen sitting near her on another leaf, which Brigantia had no recolection of actually creating and sitting on (she did not even know she could do that), had seemed interesting to her. Perhaps she was a ompanion of Epsilons. Perhaps Brigantia would never know. But, people often say 'ignorance is bliss'.

Adrian was left sitting on the leaf, peering through squinted eyes up at the sky. She hadn’t been expecting all of that to end so peacefully, and for the second time in her entire lifetime, she felt that she had a purpose. There something to work towards, an objective, she had a goal… To find out what she was. Not the loftiest of them, to be sure, but it was something she needed to do that she’d never really considered before now. All she wanted to know was her identity, and the value of identity of course is that it comes with more purpose. There was no need for the details, like who her human side was, her direct ancestry, or which half gave her the human side… She just wanted to know what she was.
A small gust of wind blew a strand of hair into her face, and she pushed it away. Well, she had decided what she was going to do, but where to start? The woman had mentioned someone named Brigantia, that was a good place to begin from. If she could find this Brigantia person, she could find out what she was made of, literally. But where should she begin looking? The only place she could look at the moment was back in the villiage, or she could ask one of the people nearby. She decided on the latter, it would get her started more quickly.
She looked up, and started a slow walk back towards the miscellaneous white-haired demon and Epsilon’s host body. They looked like they knew where they were going, and they were her best lead at the moment anyways. She didn’t approach them, really, just started walking in the same direction that they were headed in. The two of them appeared to be a couple, and while their displays of affection had made her twitch a little at first, she pushed her discomfort aside. This was not the time for such things.

Oh great...another person following them. He held back his annoyance and glanced discreetly at the hanyou as he continued to walk. He waited for her to say something. Did she need something, or was she just going to follow them as if she was supposed to? Finally, he stopped and turned toward the hanyou. "Yes?" he asked, slight annoyance showing in his narrowed eyes. It must have to do with Epsilon. Since she seemed to have become acquaintances with the woman.
As he waited for her answer he turned around and began to walk again. She could walk and talk couldn't she? Though she better have a good reason to be following them. Not something stupid that would just make him more annoyed.

Adrian stopped for a moment as the demon did, and didn’t speak for a moment. She licked her finger and held it up. Not that it helped, but she was standing upwind of him. Damn, another careless little slip… One of these days, she’d slip too far and get herself killed if she didn’t shape up a bit. She sighed, and continued walking at the same pace as before, her eyes lazily drooping to the side. This guy didn’t seem like the friendliest sort out there, and she didn’t want to make any enemies. Especially not demons.
“I’m looking for someone, and I hoped one of you two might know who they are,” she said, her tone a bit drab and dragged-out. If they didn’t know who Brigantia was, then it would be better to just walk away and leave then be. It didn’t seem like this fella exactly appreciated the extra company along the way. Besides, there were other people who knew how to locate a person, especially one with a name as unique as that. If bloody Epsilon knew who it was, odds were good that they had some sort of reputation following them.

Brigantia felt the presence of the interestng demoness following them. She turned her head to look interestedly in her direction. She wondered if She should tell Sesshomaru, but he seemed to figure it out for himself. A tiny bit of conversation seemed to start. All the while Brigantia stuck close to Sesshomaru, her fingers resting over the scar he had given her a long time ago.
The other girl did not seem interested in harming her, so she was okay in Brigantia's book. Her fingers moved through her hair as she gave Adrian a cute smile, tilting her head to one side. She then reached out and grabbed Adrian's hand. "Who are you looking for? I can maybe help, especially if you know their auric signiture or have some memory of them." Brigantia told her with a small nod. Her large eyes did not blink as she stared quite seriously at the other half breed.
Somehow, her serious face made this whole ordeal seem somewhat laughable. A small child telling people something they already knew, but felt like they were so smart. She turned from serious to all smiles again. They were smiles that did not quite reach her eyes.

Adrian flinched visibly when the woman grabbed her hand, and that entire arm seemed to tense up rapidly. She hated being touched, even a small gesture like that made her extremely uneasy… But that was no excuse to be rude to someone that was trying to help her. The girl actually seemed rather nice, in fact, though that fact didn’t necessarily help calm her nerves. Just grit your teeth and bear it, Andy, she thought to herself. It’ll be worth it after you find out who’s who. After all, once she knew who Brigantia was, she could go back to what she did before, but with a bit more peace-of-mind.
Andy put on a forced smile, though it would have looked a bit more convincing if her hand hadn’t been shaking in the other girl’s palm. She turned her head to look down at her, and nodded slowly, her expression steadying out a little. “Sorry, I only have the name… I’m looking for someone called Brigantia, do you know who that is?” she asked, looking her right in the eyes as she spoke.

Sesshomaru stopped walking when the hanyou spoke up again. Looking for someone? Maybe he would know the person, and he hated for her to state the name, or something, but she didn't. He kept his back to her, and only faced her when Brigantia left his side and went to the hanyou. He watched the two, a little wary of the hanyou when Brigantia got so close. Even if the female didn't seem to be of any harm, looks could be decieving. It would be so easy for her to kill Brigantia right there on the spot. That's why he was so tense as he stared at the two, ready for anything even though he stood casually to the side.
Brigantia....did that hanyou just say she was looking for Brigantia? He wanted to laugh, oh stupid girl, asking for a person that was right in front of her. Luckily, he didn't laugh. If he had, that would be a good sign that the world has come to an end. Even though he didn't laugh, a small smirk came across his face, and he didn't even try to hide it. He stayed quiet, allong Brigantia to answer such a question.

Brigatia slowly let go of Adrian's hand. She could udnerstand the other female's discomfort and pride. Thats what she thought was compeltely idiotic about pride. A cerain amount of it was good, but too much and you end up not wanting to admit the things that make you afraid or uncomfortable.
"...Brigantia... The smile on her face fell. Her large eyes widened. A completelyshocked look on her face appeared. "Ah..." the silly grin came back. "Thats me." She pointed at herself, her slim finger almost touching her cheek. It was obvious she was amused. So much so she actually giggled. This rare sound was normally only heard by Sesshomaru, Jaken and Rin.
"How do you now my name? Do I know yours? If I do I'm really sorry that I have forgotten." she bowed suddenly, her hair falling in her face as a small giggle escaped her lips. Such a sound, rare though it was, could normally only be heard by Sesshomaru, Jaken, and Rin.
She stood, the grin on her face only growing wider. "I can't understand though. I can find no memories of you. No memories that belong to me have anything to do with someone even remotely like you." She said thoughtfully. A finger lay pressed against the corner of her lips as she spoke.
"So, How can I be of service to you?"

Adrian let out a long, slow breath of relief, like a red-hot chunk of metal being dipped into cold water. She felt a bit guilty for seeming so jumpy, but the feeling passed… It didn’t seem to matter all that much to the girl anyways, so why should it matter to her?
Adrian’s eyebrows shot straight up, and a look of surprise- something that was still rare for her to hold- flooded her expression. This was Brigantia? That came as a bit of a shock, though the more she thought about it, the more it made sense… Brigantia would be someone Epsilon knew very well, if they both occupied the same body. She couldn’t help but smile back, this one genuine.
She stooped down as the girl bowed, trying to get a little closer to eye level, though the hair somewhat prevented her from seeing Brigantia’s eyes very effectively. She stood back up to a slouch just as the other girl straightened out, one eyebrow raised above the other. Outside they looked similar, but she could tell that Epsilon and Brigantia acted nothing alike.
“That’s because we’ve never properly met before. My name is Adrian, Epsilon told me that you had some very keen senses, and I’d like to ask you something that might seem a bit strange,” she explained. It was all true, of course… Halfbreeds rarely asked what type of demon they partially were.

"Epsilon recomended me?" What is it she wants me to do? Why did Epsilon tell ehr I could help. I'm not very good at anything of much use. Unless she needs a new dress. It was obvious the looks on her face was doubtful. It was mostly about herself. "I can not make any promises. Please, tell me what you would like me to do." Brigantia tried to smile but failed. She omly looked nervous,
What If I can't help her? WHat if I fail? That would really show that I am worthless right? Normally she would have cried or been truehtfull depressed looking at these thoughts. But, all of her two years on earth allowed her to become a good actress. Fearful on the inside, doubtful and interest on the outside.

Adrian nodded at her, and smiled slightly. Brigantia didn’t seem to have very much self-esteem, though if Epsilon had suggested her, she had to be good in one way or another… the girl was probably just being humble about it. “I’d like you to tell me what kind of demon my other half actually is.” She felt a bit embarrassed for asking that, most people were more in tune with themselves.
It’s just this one time, she reminded herself. After this, I’ll have peace of mind, and it’ll be over once and for all. If she somehow doesn’t tell me what it is, I can still find other ways of learning it. It’s not a big deal… right? She didn’t even know if she could answer her own mental question.
