Ben followed quietly along untill he felt somthing....the cold stare that could only belong to a woman. Ben felt like a hammer hit his chest as she coldly demaned answer's. hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn Ben thought and took a deep breath and answered one at a time "I follow..because i guess i've got nothing better to do....And unless i have doggie ears like that jerk inu-...inuyahsa? I think you can rule out me being a dog. And i dont really have bissuness....And this sword?" Ben looked down at the black katana strapped at his side....sure something felt wrong about it...but something also felt almost friendly about it. "If that's what you want i can leave." Ben said in almost a huff...but ben turned around and gave a nervous chuckle "Umm that well......do you know witch way it was?"

Sesshomaru had listened to the human's answers, finding that he had stopped when his hanyou of a brother's name was spoken. Jerk Inuyasha? This human knew Inuyasha...well, of course he did if he knew Kagome. The mutt followed her around like a true mongrel....does that mean he called himself a mongrel? No, at least he didn't make it seem to noticable by others. Finally, it seemed that the human was going to leave, but his question made Sesshomaru pause in continuing his stride toward camp.
"You come from the well?" Sesshomaru found himself asking, a little annoyed that it hadn't stayed in his thoughts like he had wished it to. He turned his head to glance at the boy, waiting for his answer. It was at that time the demon lord actually payed attention to what the human wore. Just the way it was sewn together, the way it fit the boy made something in Sesshomaru's mind click. Was he from the future, like the miko Kagome?
....Sesshomaru just rememered that the certain miko was supposed to give him a tour of her time...

"Yeah i came from the well..you see i was following kagome after that idiot inuyasha ran off with her again saying something about a...a naraku and jewel shard's." Ben held up his bow and pulled out a small but radaint jewel shard "I think she ment one of these." Ben put his bow back on the quiver and said sheeply "I--if you dont mind i'd like to know what year this is...or mabey what country were in lord sesshomaru?"

Her eyes widened. Such a tiny thing with such a strong aura. it made her feel ill. She curled closely against Sesshomaru, watching the boy from her perch in her lover's arms. "Please, put that back..." It made her senses go wonky. Right now she could not distinguish the difference between anthing. She could only relly on her sight. That was dangerous for a creature like her. Every primitive instinct inside of her was screaming to just try and run away, get as far away as possible. Go somewhere safe. Somewhere where she wouldn't be in danger. But the logical side of her body, that which was not animal, told her that while she was in Sesshomaru's grasp he would not let harm fall upon her. It was not as if she oculd move anyway.
She glared at the child for a little bit longer then said "When I regain my strength I will make you a sheath, but you must promise one thing in return. You must, at all times when you are with me, keep it with in that sheath." She bit her lower lips, hiding her face in Sesshomaru's hair. No where was safe from that constant barrage. It was driving her inside, and making Epsilon stir in annoyance. "Promise me that..." she said to him. "If you are going to keep following us.... you mus promise." her voice sounded strained, weak. As if she could barely hold onto her consiousness any longer. It was almost like she was begging him. Her face was hidden, but if one could see it they would only see the pain that was upon it.

Interesting....
The boy came from the well, just as Kagome. He came from the future. He still wished to see it. The miko had wished to be with him if he ever did...she also had wanted him to where...what was it again? A 'hat'? Worthless thing. It had looked rediculous and Sesshomaru had refused. Maybe this boy could show him of what lies in the years ahead. He watched the boy as he spoke of the jewel shard, and he had his own. Then he was being asked questions. Year, country?
"Only time changes, not the location." he stated. He didn't answer the second question because he truly wasn't sure. Since he had lived as long as he did, the years blurred. It made no sense to keep ties on them every time the season started a new. He turned his attention back to Brigantia as she spoke to the boy. After everything she said, the first thought that came to him was; She knows how to make a sheath? Though, after such a thought was pushed aside, he bagan to realize that the sword was causing Brigantia discomfort.
That was why she was in such a mood.

Ben looked at the sword as the woman spoke....was this thing..this sword...evli? Ben Looked at the sword again then reached to his bow and tried a little idea of his. He pulled out the bright little shard and placed it on the sword...the sword dident react at first so ben assumed that it was just a useless stone....but ben was wrong.
After a moment the sword pulsated once then again. Then the once almost evil aroura around the sword seemed to disapate. In short whatever it was doing to the woman had stoped its barrage, "Woah wait a sec...you telleing me that all this.." Ben trailed off as he looked at the forest and all its surroundings "All this is japan?....but that'd have to be....at least 600 years ago mabey sooner..."

So this child was... from the future? "You come from the well.... You come from a time in the distance... I have been there, you know." she murmured. "It is a place... I do not like. Or perhaps it was because I was separated from my body at the time." At this point she was speaking rambling thoughts. But the the boy's made an interesting and dangerous movement.
The sudden pulsation. It's powers magnified. It made her scream, her grip on her lover tightened, as it pounded against her. Did this child not understand? The powers of the sword, and she herself were on completely different plains! He might feel the evil disappear from here. Though the sword was not really evil. it just did not like a creature like her so near it. It was a slayer. She was left panting. She was trying to hold onto consciousness, to tell him to take the crystal out. But no words came. This was so hard for her. She was in such a weakened state.
Her eye lid fluttered... and she fainted.
In her dream she was... No, it wasn't a dream. She had left her body to sit in a different plain. Did that mean she was dead? No! No, she couldn't be dead! Tears welled up in her eyes. Her real body began to cry as well, though no noise was made. Luckily enough the smallest bit of her was still attached, so small she did not realize it was still there.
But then, something came forth. A man? A woman? Perhaps both. Masculine and feminine features appeared upon it. It made her somewhat confused. She tried to dry away her tears but they seemed unable to stop falling.
"Little one, why is it you cry?"
"Because, baka, I have been forced from my body." She hissed in annoyance. She glared at him through her tears. It was funny how one can suddenly realize who someone is in just an instance, from their voice or a small action.
"I see. Well, I suppose that is my job."
"I don't care what it is!" She screamed at it. Thrusting a hand forward. From her fingers lights shot forward, going through the man. This would have caused the sword to vibrate. "You... you bastard!" She hid her face in her hands, sobbing.
The sword was unhurt. It watched her fr a long moment. "You are pathetic." it commented in a monotonous voice.
This hit a spot with in Brigantia. "Me? Me pathetic?" she asked it, her eyes glowing with complete rage. It was like the time with that man. The one who had tried to separate her from Sesshomaru. Did people never learn? "Let me ask you this. After years of being trapped in a sword how could you ever know what pathetic really is. How can you understand any feelings. I am dead! That body, the one that I have lived in for so long, the one that he recognizes, it is dead!"
"No, it's alive."
"Lair! Damn it, do you enjoy making me feel like this?" Again lights shot from her fingers, this time singing the man's 'skin'.
"If you will not listen to reason I will go." And it left her. It who had forced her in this place disappeared.
"Bastard." she whispered. The word coming from her lips in the physical world as well. The only part of the conversation her body repeated.

((actually, if you used the shikin jewel on the sword it would taint the jewel shard and its powers would grow and affect Ben as well. Kind of like what it did to Inuyasha in the last episode...or was it the second to last? Dunno))
Yes, it was Japan. He could probably answer no more questions since he wouldn't no the answers to anything else. He didn't know how far into the future Kagome was. Ah well, didn't matter. Brigantia's words made him pause for a moment. She had been there? She had been to ther future? For a split second he felt annoyance in knowing that Brigantia had seen the future before he got the chance to. Though, he didn't know what she meant when she seemed to be talking to no one in perticular.
Sesshomaru had also felt the power of the sword grow, but was distracted when Brigantia screamed and before long, she feinted again. His worry showed for a split second before he hid it with narrowed eyes, turning those narrowed eyes on the human as he scented the tears that fell from her face in her sleep. The demon lord would blame the boy for this. He didn't say nothing, he didn't know what to say anyway.
With a final growl he turned away and walked to the nearest tree, slowly laying Brigantia down at its base. He crouched at her side for a while, long enough to here her speak. His browse furrowed for a moment, curious as to what she was thinking, why she said such a thing. Letting the thought passed he slowly got to his feet, turning toward the boy again. "Take the jewel from the sword, you have only made it worse." It didn't take a genuis to figure that out.

Ben noded his head and complied "Yeah sure thing." Ben reached his hand towards the shard on the sword...but before he touched it a sharp shocking pain his his finger's "You think you can stop me so easly?" Ben heard a voice in his head say "And just who are you?" Ben said in a quick retort "Some call me teh'onga...you may call me your death." Ben gave a grim chuckle "Im so scared a sword that's in my own hand is gonna kill me." Ben tried to drop the sword...but he couldent his hand wouldent let go of the sword.
"Now do you realize that your nothing compared to me puny mortal?" Ben's hand that held the sword suddenly had a sharp burning pain "SO what?!" ben said through gritted teeth "You've got a firm grip ill give you that much...but that's about all i'll give you!" Ben reached out and tried to grab the jewel shard again but his had was met by a shocking barrier....but ben kepts pushing his had forward. Then another pain hit him through his hand that was holding the sword...it was as if his hand was on fire compared to the pain. Ben's fingers barely touched the jewel shar but they touched it....Ben reached one last time with more effort than before and finnaly removed the jewel shard...the voice in ben's head stoped andhe was finnaly able to let go of the sword...
Ben's fingers on one hand had been almost blackened from the barrier and his other hand had lone snake like burn marks all the way up to hs shoulder. Ben dropped to the gound on his knee's gasping from the sudden pain...but the sword on the ground seemed to stop whatever it had been doing...that attack it had done on ben must have drained it's power for a while. That woman's head ache must be gone... Ben thought as he grunted from another wave of pain.

It was a while before brigantia awoke again. Here she was, in her body. Her body. At first she did not realize this. She just sat up and rubbed her temples. "Nnnng..." Her eyes fkuttered open. She looked around in confusion. "Ah... I'm back." was all she could say. Then there was Ben, on the ground. When had he gotten there. Howlong had she been gone. She seemed to have fallen into that bit of her personality she kept locked away. Brigantia had to get out of it. THe only way she knew was to do something.
And so, she began. SHe seemed to be plucking nothing out of the air, her conecentration on a thing in her lap that did not yet exist. She seemed to be sewing this nothing together with her fingers. Weaving invisible threads together until they began to form something. Long and thin, It appeared that it would never fit the sword with in it. This was the sheath.
She stood up, her happy mood not returned. She picked up the sword and pushed it into the sheath effortlessly. The sheath formed to the shape of the sword. "Bone of my ancestors, Butterfly magic weoven with in it. This will keep the magic of your sword under control and hidden away. You must limit your use of this sword. It is whatis known in our world as a Slayer." She told him. "I can not explain a slayer to a human, for it is beyond the understand of humans and most demons. Perhaps only the Butterflies know what exaclty a Slayer is." She dropped the sword in front of him. Her eyes were cold, her lips formed in a frown. Right now she looked to be Epsilon in a thoughful mood rather than a very annoyed Brigantia.
She wanted to slap him for being so stupid. But the pain he was going through now was enough. She turned on her heel and walked away. Just away. Not in the direction of the camp/ "I will be back later." Her tone was cold. Never had she spoken to Sesshomaru in such a way. Her eyes flashed anger at the boy. "Baka." she murmured. Awakening a Slayer. Humans were foolish creatures.

Sesshomaru was relieved when Brigantia had awakened. After the scene of the spirit inside the sword being awoken, it had died down since Ben was able to get the shard out. That was far from his mind, his only thoughts were of Brigantia. Was she okay? Would she be? He watched her silently, brows furrowing in thought as she moved her hands before a sheath had been formed. Odd....but very useful. Very interesting. He continued to stay quiet, and for a second he felt that his presence wasn't truly needed. He was just standing there, in the background, watching what was going on aroud him.
What was he to do, or say? There was nothing. Once Brigantia spoke to the human boy and began to walk away, he followed her with his eyes, hearing her words made him tense for a moment. She would be back? Where would she be going? And what kind of tone was that?!
Sesshomaru had never seen her act like this...and it was starting to bother him. He didn't...want her to be like that. A small frown came across his face as he walked the other way. Just as she, he was not going to the direction toward camp, in fact, he didn't know where he was going.

Ben slowloe reached out for the sword and picked it up by the sheath. When he did a power flew through ben that felt strangly like wind. In a moment the burns and hardended skin dissapeared and returned back to its normal hue and color. Ben slowly stood up and put the sheath on his belt and looked at sesshomaru "Umm...do you know the way back?..please i promise never to get in your way again if you show me the way back...in fact...if you want i can show you the future.." 'Stupid!' Ben thought to himself 'Why would someone like this lord want to see the future!?!'

I can show you the future...
That statement made Sesshomaru pause in his steps instantly. He turned his head, looking toward the human boy from the corner of his golden orbs. Show him? Hell, lets do it! Of course, Sesshomaru showed none of this enthusiasm that went on in his head. He truly wished to know what would become of the world. The miko had aleady said there were no demons, but he didn't believe her. If he went to the future, then he could figure out himself. He could see how far things came. He wanted to see it all. The new villages, and their weapons, it would all be completely different, he knew.
Sesshomaru hesitated for a moment, glancing in the direction where Brigantia had left. She would be okay right? And she did want her alone time...he didn't know how long he would be gone...he hoped that it was okay. Letting out a small breath, and turned in the direction he knew the well to be. He had visited it once....way back when it had been nothing but a worthless well. How could he have not sensed its magical powers?
"The well is not far." he stated, making it known that that was the direction where he was going.

Ben smiled and walked after the demon lord...who obviously wanted to see the future...though for the life of him ben couldent figure out why....ben's era was boring with no excitement or adventure...just the same old same old. Ben's pulse spiked as the neared the well..ben's way back home. Ben put his foot on the edge of the well and sighed..he hoped it would work...it was his only way back after all. "Well tally ho." Ben said with one last look back he jumped into the well as a purple abyss englufed him in the well.

Sesshomaru stopped at the well, watching the human walk toward the well, say something that didn't make any sense to him...what the hell was 'tally ho'? Some sort of language that he didn't know about? And then the human was gone. Sesshomaru stepped forward, leaning slightly to look inside, he saw nothing but blackness. So...he was gone, just like that? Taken to his time? Was he supposed to follow the human? Oh, he didn't want to jump in a well, it looked rediculous. What if it was just a trick, to get a demon lord into a well.
Finally tossing the thoughts aside to the back of his mind he, too, jumped into the well, and at first it seemed like he would reach the bottom when his falling slowed and he was engulfed in blue light, floating downward until his feet touched the ground. He knew immediately he wasn't where he started out. Ignoring Ben, he looked up toward the sky, but there was no sky. There was a wooden ceiling. With a light push from his feet, he jumped out of the well effortlessly, landing beside it. He took in his surroundings of the hut he was now in. This was where they kept the well now?
He wondered what was outside of this hut....he could already scent everything around him. Humans, everything that came from humans, and so much more. So much more that it hurt his noise. What the hell was tainting the air in the future?!
