Bankotsu emerged from the river in time to hear Noli's remark. He smirked at the words of the man. "No doubt, you killed him, 'Kurokotsu'," he replied, his eyes closed in satisfaction. He then dived back into the clear bed of water. Bankotsu allowed himself to sink to the river bottom and stayed there in strange relaxation. Strands and locks of his hair danced happily in the gentle current of the river and began to cover and shade his face. This is going to be fun...

Noli shrugged "Hey he swung first." Noli looked at the river then at the hot sun "Good idea ban." Noli said quietly as he started to derobe. Noli left his clothes on a tree branch and buttioned the top of his slayer outfit.....not only was it good for combat but it was exelent for swiming.
Noli looked at jakotsu "Hey jakotsu...if your not going in can you make sure noone takes my stuff?" With that noli jumprf into the river and dived down to the bottom....if there was one thing noli lovrf it was the water.....noli for some reason devloped an ablity to stay underwater for hours on end...

"Anything for you, cute stuff." Was Jakotsu's purred reply. He fluttered his eye lashes in amusement. A bit of water spashed upon his kimono and he frowned. Damn it all. He stared down at his clothing and shook his head. No use now. He continued to sit with his hands hidden beneath his long sleeves and his eyes half lidded. So both Ban and Noli were underwater now. Jakotsu was feeling a little lonely.

Bankotsu didn't have to worry about drowning. After all, he couldn't die from mere water suffocation, the Jewel shard would make certain of that. He felt a disruption in the water and soon saw that it was only "Kurokotsu." He resumed his resting position upon the river's bottom and closed his eyes, enjoying the watery relaxation.

Noli swam along the bottom of the river and found some skulls strange thought noli....the current of the stream should have washed away the bones long ago....then noli saw the reason....ther ewas an arrowhead at the back of the skull...pinning it down....noli reached down to the arrowhead and for a split second it seemed to move...
How? Noli thought its just an arrowhead noli reached for it again and this time the arrowhead changed into a snake head. frack.....water demon's Noli tried t oswim to the surface but was immeditly caught by the leg the serpent had wraped it's self around noli's leg and tried to pull him down.
apparently this thing is bigger than i thought! Noli thought to himself as he struggled against the serpent. Then noli had an idea.....he stopped struggling and te serpent dragged him to the bottom. Once there noli's feet thouched the river bed and thanks to the 4 jewel shards embeded in his legs noli jumped from the bottom of the river to the surface.
"Hey A.......LITTLE......HELP......JAKOT....." Noli was cut of each time as he wrestled the demon and was begin pushed under water again then back up. The serpent barred it's fangs at noli and hissed, noli still holding the creature by the neck to avoid getting bit, hissed back.

Jakotsu smirked as Noli struggled with the demon. TO help or not to help? Well, the boy was one of his 'brothers' now. One who might not betray him. He dcided to help. Jakotsu went to the river. He entered the water, ignoring, with some difficulty, how his kimono was getting wet. He ducked under the water, and soon found where the two were struggling. He walked foreward, quite calmly. His hand slowly moved acorss the skin of the water demon. It immediatly let go of Noli, and turned to look at Jakotsu.
His hand moved towards the demon's head. They stared each other in the eye for a long time, until the demon finally back down. It hissed softly, winding it's self around jakotsu in an almost loving fashion. Jakotsu gave a soft sigh, scratching the demon under the chin. It let him go, and swam down the river looking for a different prey.
Jakotsu exited the water, wring out his hair once again, but this time with the combined effort of getting his kimono dry. The silky fabric seemed to want to keep the water. Jakotsu removed the cloth and sash, and hung it on a try to dry. He then removed the armor, laying it against the tree by his weapon, who seemed upset that it hadn't been used to help Noli. Jakotsu just stretched out on the grass, in a bored manor, as if nothing had happened.

Noli stared in wonder as he watched jakotsu almost seem to tame the serpent.Noli walked up the bank after jakotsu "How did you do that?.......that was amazeing!" Noli sat down infront of jakotsu "Could you teach me how to do that?..........i mean i know how to get intouch with creatures......but not that fast."

Jakotsu opened a sleepy, yet amused eye. A small smirk played upon his lips. He turned his head slightly, opening both eyes now. He studied Noli for a long moment. "It's complicated. It was something I was born with really. I don't know how I do it, I just know. But ther eis one thing you can do,t hat works with any animal. It is a compitition for dominance. You stare directly into the other creature's eyes, do not blink, do not look away. THey must be the first to back down." He said, holding up a finger. His tone was very serious, for the first tme, he seemed like a normal guy. He wasn't quite as fruity as he always seemed.
Of course, he wasn't able to stay serious. "Now what will you give me for that piece of information?" Jakotsu asked in an alluring tone. he licke dhis lips hungrily, suggestively.

"Really?" Jakotsu had a slightly surprised look on his face. He then sat up, lifting Noli's chin so that he could look down into the boy's eyes. His lips were very clsoe to the other males, a small smile on his face. "I want..." he paused, his smirk growing "To touch... your ears." By ears he ment the little panther ones atop his head. He had thought them adorable the first time he had seen them. He couldn't help be desire to touch the fluffly look ears!

"My ears?...." wehew that was a close one. noli thought to himself....he dident see waht was interesting about his ears...but if that meant not doing anything awakward or wrong it was fien with noli. "Umm sure noli said as he removed his bandana "i guess there's no harm in it." Noli waited for jakotsu but noli notciably backed his face away from jakotsu's.

Jakotsu reached out his hands, and gentle began to message the ears. "Ah!" he said excitedly "They're so soft!" He leaned foreard slightly, a large, somewhat silly grin on his face. "Oo-aniki! You have to feel them!" Jakotsu called out to the river, where Bankotsu was.
"I wonder, do you have a tail dear brother?" he asked, his hands slifing down to rest on Noli's chest. He then pulled them back, winking in a slightly suggestive manor.

"Umm none that i know of yet." Noli said with the hint of laughter in his voice "I did just recently become a half demon just a few days ago so i dont really know if one will grow or not."

Bankotsu heard the call of his brother but chose not to answer. He had no interest in stroking Noli's ears or any other part of his body for that matter. He had seen the struggle between his newfound comrade and the serpent demon but believed that Noli could handle it himself. Apparently, he couldn't because Jakotsu came to tame the watery entity.
The rogue finally decided he had enough of the river for now and lifted himself unto the bank. He sat there with his feet soaking in the water and closed his eyes in blissful relaxation despite the hot weather. One thing that his two siblings did talk about did strike his interest. "What do you mean, you 'recently' became a half demon, Kurokotsu?"

"Yah.... how do you just become a half demon Kuro-kun?" Jakotsu asked, scrtaching his cheek with confusion and interest. It was odd to think something like that could really happen... Weren't they born half demons?
