A foul wind blew over the Fuzan Forest as the demon Naraku made his presence known. His body now fully regenerated after his last battle with Inuyasha. The yôkai looked around, studying the place where he would take refudge until he felt strong enough to begin his search for the Jewel Shards. As he continued his walk deeper into the forest, he thought of how the jewel would be able to grant him near-invincibility should he acquire all the pieces. He smirked at the thought. Then nobody could defeat him. Neither Sesshomaru or Inuyasha would have the strength or power.
As he began to get deeper into the forest, the temperature dropped and the wind picked up. He looked back to see his Saimyôshô struggling to keep their flight path. Seeing the trees beside him, he thought it best to wait until the wind passed to continue. These would at least provide some shelter until then. He sat quietly and looked around, knowing that no human would dare enter this forest with all of the rumors lately. Just incase, he had managed to place a small barrier around himself, for it was all he could muster at the time.

Kanrya was lounging in a tree eating a pear and looked down as the temperature drop and the wind picked up and she smirked and threw an apple at this man in a baboon suit and smirked. "Monkey want a banana?" She grinned and stretched. "Run away little monkey...before the big bad wolf takes you down..." Kanrya's eyes narrowed in irritation and stood on the branch growling deep in her throat. She then took the last bite of the pear and dropped it. The pear fell to the forest floor and she did a quick flash-step and was on the ground faster then most people could follow.

Naraku merely ignored the apple as it bounced off of his barrier. "Foolish girl." He said aloud, looking up to where she stood. Right away, he could tell she was a demon. He had left some Miasma out of the barrier. Maybe it wasn't enough to effect this demon. That was reasonable, considering the level of his strength. "It would be wise to turn and run. I don't have time for you, worthless demon." Naraku thought of everyone as the lesser demon. In his mind, nobody was higher than him. He would soon be the most powerful demon in the land. Everyone would bow to him.

Kanrya scoffed at the idea of running from this ignorant and worthless half-demon. "Ohhh i'm sooo afraid...i'm shaking in my boots...not" She glared at this demon and her eyes went crimson red. "I warnned you and you should have listened to me..." She drew her katana and dark fire ignited on it. "Now how about you run and I'll hunt you down like the rat you are..." She smirked and advanced slowly on him.

Naraku ignored her comments. He wasn't going to be the one running. He would never run from something like this. He knew that the barrier wouldn't hold off much longer, though. Maybe it would be best to just do away with this demon now. He smirked and glanced at her Katana, which emitted Dark Fire. "Your sword has no effect on me." He looked at her out of the corner of his eye. "I'm not giving you another warning, girl. Get out of my sight." His Saimyôshô buzzed outside of the barrier, ready to do their master's bidding. Whatever he commanded them to do, it would surely happen. The poison of his insects was something that nobdoy could be immune to. It would certainly cause a quick death for humans if injected more than once, no doubt. Though he had to credit that monk, Miroku, who was able to resist their venom. He stared from Kanrya to her Katana, wondering if it was the same for her. "Tell me, girl. What is your name?"

Kanrya blinked at this sudden question and glared at this demon. "Why do you wish to know? I'm not as stupid as most but still..." She growled and stood as still as stone. It was coming back to her now that voice... She decided to take a chance and give her name. "The name's Kanrya...Who the hell are you?" She asked and tilted her head to watch him more carefully. She now regarded this man with curious eyes and her ears twitched picking up the sounds far away. She switched her katana to her other hand and growled nervously as he stood in front of her.

"Kanrya......You may call me Naraku." He smirked. Her face had gone blank when he had spoken to her. Did she remember him? Or did she just think that? He still stood in the shade of the tree. The moonlight was bright on the other side, making it seem darker where he stood. His masked face stayed hidden in the shadows, Naraku not wanting to show himself just yet.

Kanrya smirked and stepped into a patch of moonlight revealing her pretty face, her amber eyes flashed in the light, she stood at attention and lowered her chin and looked directly into the eyeholes of Naraku's mask. "So your the one Inuyasha, Miroku, Sango and Kagome were talking about...What are you doing on my territory?" She growled and snarled pissed that this ignorant baka was here.

Naraku nodded as she spoke. "Of course." He studied her features, wondering if he had ever seen her traveling with Inuyasha and his group. Noting that it wasn't the case, he stepped out of the shadow, revealing his white baboon pelt, which still hid his real features. "I don't care much for being on your territory. I came here to rest is all.....And I plan to continue."

((be my guest...))
Kanrya blinked at Naraku surprised at how Naraku had easily backed off and smirked. "What a gentleman. you should really take that mask of the baboon pelt. it doesn't really suit you..." She grinned and yawned. "You know I've heard about you and even saw a glimpse of you once or twice but I have to admit...you don't scare me at all..." She grinned a mischevious grin.

Ah, the sweet scent of spring flowed freely through the air. Hearken to the birds chirping, the little forest animals waking from the long slumber and the sounds of the killed pleading for their lives. Take in the stench of death and not to mention the heavy scent of blood, it just screams spring, doesn’t it? No you say? Well why the hell not? It certainly screams spring to me! What could be better on the new blades of grass than the blood of a freshly killed victim that was too weak to defend itself against my attacks? Oh the feel of my blade as it enters their tender neck, my hands holding their arms so they can’t fight back! Such a fantastic feeling right there my friend. Oh just to feel as the blood runs down the blade and onto my hand and drips onto the ground, the sight of it shooting from the jugular as my blade slices into it, the sound of their gurgling lungs filling with blood…now that is a wonderful spring morning if I may say so myself. Do you still think this is not the perfect morning? Well, seeing as you don’t have the same mindset as myself you can just piss off and let me continue on with this story. What’s that? Let you tell it! Why? Is it because I’m too graphic?! You’re just as bad as me you contradicting bitch! Kill me off? What’s that? You can’t-
Fine. Let’s see if you can tell it better than me!
---------
Anyways.
A gentle zephyr passed through the lands, blowing his long ebony hair to the side, revealing his maroon tinged headband. His elemental blade Stiehl was at his side but his demon sword was unsheathed as his hand ran down it, transforming it into a katana whose blade was hued red. The blade came up, a swing taken towards his next victim who would be his 59th kill. It was gently pressed against an unknown mans throat. Why didn’t Lord Kieran finish him off quickly? Let’s just say he is like a toddler who likes to play with his food before he eats it. Fear radiated off of this mans eyes like a lighthouse light out on sea. The corners of his peach lips twisted into a sinister grin. With a solitary bound the aberrant brutish charlatan was away from him, a stare to petrify infantile creatures mirrored through his amethyst eyes but the fear, the apprehension that he sought after was in short supply when it came to Kieran. His physique turned into a belligerent carriage as vindictive words shattered the utopian silence. Attention was focused on this man to enhance his ability to hearken the swindling eradicator. “You villainous knave!” Malicious laughter slipped from his cavern. “A villain yes but when you think knave you are the one looking through the fool’s glass.” Pitch was composed and serene. Right now, the thought of blood clouded his thoughts.
The fear that had struck this man paralyzed was gone, the need to kill and defend himself replaced it. Kieran fell into a great rage without exactly knowing why. “Tell me.” His eyes could not deceive his heart. Anger flowed through him like the magic that flowed through his blades. “Where are the shards.” The man nodded his head to and fro, claiming that he did not have the shards that Lord Kieran spake of. Many steps on the earth, and within the green barren lands, stood, in full anger, the Satyr-like figure of Kieran. He must have presented to the eyes of the agitated man a spectral and ominous appearance, as with the pale countenance and rigid clothing, he floated up to him. The icy touch of his blade once more embraced the man but to guarantee that he did not get away once more his hand was placed on the back of his neck, slight pressure on the sword whose glow was red. “Fine…let the avenues of death be harsh on your soul.” With one final push, the may lay bleeding from the neck with death glazed eyes.
Ah, the feeling of taking another life but perhaps this would not be the only one today for not too long down the path he had been following a demons aura could be detected along with some unknown creature. The ebony panther that remained at his side at all times rubbed her head against his leg in a pushing manner as if telling him. If this cat didn’t watch it then she would be next. “Scout.” He whispered to her and watched with curious eyes as she ran off into the vista. Soon she returned, news of Naraku and some unknown demon she spoke of. A gentle hand reached down to pat Mitsku upon the head. “Well done.” With those final words footfall was heard from him as he walked ahead.
Sure enough the panther had not lied. Before him stood Naraku in his cowardly baboon attire hiding his actual features. The muscles in his legs tensed up launching him up into a nearby tree, listening to them converse. This little female was not afraid of Naraku eh? Let us see how well she could handle Lord Kieran.
Mitsku sat under the tree, emerald eyes remained on the female Kanrya. Kieran on the other hand remained in the tree, eyes closed as he felt the breeze on his face. Mitsku stood up and walked closer to the couple and a devious smile crossed her lips. “Ah, Naraku.” Kieran spoke but made it seem as if the cat was doing it. “I see you have come back to the territory of Lord Kieran.” She sat down as the tip of her tail curled. “Did you bring me another shard?” He paused, waiting to receive the answer. “Or are you keeping them for yourself?” He opened his eyes and looked down at them and grinned. “Don’t forget who made it possible for you to stand there.”
He collected his composure and jumped down from the tree. When he landed he paused, taking in the full blow from the fall but it didn’t phase him really, before standing. “My dear Lady, you are luckily met.” He took a step closer to her, a sneer plastered upon his face. “I had my doubts…” He paused, grabbing the hilt of his sword in case she decided that she wanted to attack first. “I believed that you were not as foolish as you appear.” He nodded his head in shame. “But alas, I have been proven wrong.” He looked at her and smiled. “But where are my manners?” He bowed and rose back up looking her in the eyes. “I am Lord Kieran, the ruler of the southern lands. No need to introduce yourself for I already know who you are.”
Eyes turned into slits. “Kanrya, the demon who travels with that miko Kikyo.” He spat on the ground in front of himself. “Scum!” He shouted towards her and a low growl came from the chest cavity of Mitsku. “How can a demon such as yourself even associate with a miko?!” He glared at her once more. “Degrading.”

Kanrya turned away from Naraku and watched Keiran silently and growled deep in her throat and smirked. " I know I'm scum I was told that I was worthless ever since my mother died...and I know who you are you worthless bag of meat...As for traveling with Kikyo and the other miko well all they are is shard detectors..." She bared her fangs and slipped into her fox form. "I don't think I really fucking care what you think you prick..." She smirked and dark flame ignited on her katana yet again. "So how about you both run away like little schoolgirls hmmm?" Her eyes turned crimson and she bared her fangs again.

Notes-Head turns in her direction, hearing the sound of her voice which caused light laughter to creep from his moist cavern. “Your little pity story will not work here.” A gentle hand wrapped around the blade of his katana, the one that can bring back the dead, and rose it over his shoulders while resting the blade on his back. “As for I being the worthless one...what do I look like? You?” He continued to listen to her excuse about the miko Kikyo and malicious laughter spilled forth and broke the golden silence. “But my dear, demons don’t need to associate with miko’s to find the shards.” After his sentence sinister grin slithered upon his smug face. “Just kill everyone you come across.” He closed his eyes for a moment, taking in the scent of the air, the smell of blood which covered his hands from his previous killing. “You are bound to find a shard then.” He lowered his head to be parallel to the topography and took a few steps closer to her.
Kanrya was now in what he would presume to be her demon form. He took the katana from over his shoulder. At first you would think that it was just a mere dagger but then he ran his hand over the shining metal blade. As he did so the sword began to pulse and the steal that was once silver turned crimson. The more he ran his hand down, the longer it got. Now that he had transformed his sword he pointed it towards her. “I do not wish to amuse myself with a weakling such as you.” He laughed lightly, giving off an eerie essence about himself. “But if you wish to meet your death, so be it.” Did she not know who this man was? Did she not know the danger she was in just by looking at him the wrong way? He laughed once more.
“As for me running away…” He paused, taking a few steps closer to her before disappearing and coming right into her face, almost nose to nose. “I don’t know the meaning of those words.” He stood up straight and looked over his shoulder to his black demon panther and patted his side. She came running and took his place. Fox against panther, now this would be exciting. “But my friend here has not had any fun lately.” He looked over to Naraku and grinned. “Now how about you two play nice while the grownups do their work.” He didn’t allow the katana to go back to its dagger like form, infact he held it firm incase she would try and attack him while his back was turned.
Now Lord Keiran had a more powerful dagger with him, one that could control the elements but it had a specialty in lightning. Why didn’t he just turn around and finish her off with it I can hear you asking. Well, he didn’t think that her blood would be worthy to fall upon his blade. He didn’t think that she was powerful enough to give him a thrill. In his mind the human he just killed would be more fun than her but who was he to judge? He was after all a Lord and you don’t get that title just by running your mouth now do you? And you might be asking yourself about the powers of his red katana. Well, it is red due to the blood that it has soaked in and as for the pulsing earlier…well, it has the ability to weaken a demon’s power once it cuts them.

Kanyra smirked and eyed the panther calmly and then looked over at Keiran and laughed a short mirthless laugh. "Actually Keiran your more of a coward then I thought...My dark fire can consume anything living..." She held a ball of dark flame that hovered just ablove her skin and threw it at the panther and yawned. "You really expect me to let you watch as my bloodlust is unleashed?" She turned towards Naraku and Keiran and gave a evil little smile as her wolf side started to show. Her fangs elongated and her ears became more wolfish. "You shouldn't really mess with a wolf.." She snarled in anger.
