((lol, your post is funny. Love it! XD))
Merodi continued to hum, allowing her mind to stop thinking on all other things but the lyrics in her head as she hummed them. She wanted to sing the song to Koga, but she was afraid if he would get the hint. She didn't want him to know. Not when she was so sure it wouldn't work. This song, that reminded her oh so much of Koga. She wouldn't dare sing it. Even if he was asleep.
Too much in her own mind of the song in her head, and of the visions in her head of the moments where the song seemed to fit, that she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. That was why Koga's sudden voice from behind her made her jump in surprise. Luckily, she didn't try and jump away and end up in the water. She turned around quickly, staring at him for a moment before trying to speak to his odd demand.
"Your...feet?" she asked, her brows furrowed in confusion as she looked around. It was such an odd demand. And had he crawled to her? A dream. She concluded such after a few seconds. He had been dreaming. That must be it. It sounded so rediculous, what he was doing and saying. But she was too confused to laugh, at the moment. She was afraid he would be emberassed also.
((and just so you know, I actually have a song that reminds me of them everytime I hear it, thats what she hums. I won't tell you the song until she sings it))

“Your feet, she says,” Koga muttered to himself, a bit of disbelief and indignation coloring his tone. “Yes, my feet! As you took them, give ‘em back!” Being overly cautious about it, the wolf demon opened his eyes to blue slivers, not wanting to be blinded by the white again. His eyes quickly adjusted to the… not whiteness? The scenery had apparently changed. Merodi was still there, materializing in the center of his vision, but shadows etched the edges of her face, more realistic than it had been before. And as his vision fully returned, he saw that she was sitting in a very familiar place… why, it was his territory! A suspicion began nagging at his mind, so Koga blinked.
“Don’t you… have my feet?” He looked down at her obviously empty hands. Even though he was beginning to understand what was going on, he still spluttered. “But…! You had them! You were running off with my feet! And… I can’t feel them.” Koga shifted into a sitting position, and stuck out his foot to where he could see (practically shoving it in Merodi’s face while he was at it). And lo and behold, there it was, right at the end of his leg where it belonged. Experimentally, he wriggled his toes, and the pins-and-needles feeling erupted over the top of his foot as blood rushed back into it.
“Oh…” Koga slowly put down his foot, tucking it under himself in an attempt to hide it, like a child shoving a cookie in his mouth in denial that he had it. The result was the demon sitting in a lopsided way, looking just as awkward as he felt. Too bad for Merodi… she hadn’t had to do anything. Koga managed to humiliate himself in front of her, anyway. Trying (and not succeeding) to look like he was blowing it off, the male demon scratched the back of his head and gave a very forced-sounding laugh. “I was dreaming, wasn’t I?”
A flush of heat filled his cheeks, and he looked away from the deer demon. “I knew that. Of course I knew that!”

((yeah, and I know I want you to know. its a good song, and you probably know it in some way))
Merodi found this very funny, but at the same time it was a bit worrying. It must have been a very vivid dream. To think, he had dreamed about her taking his feet. And then to be so out of it to continue to think he was dreaming, or even think such a thing was real. To imagine his dream was a very gruesome sight. She wondered what else was in his dream to have her do something like take his feet. These rather horrific thoughts kept her from laughing, or even smiling.
Merodi watched him, a little befuddled She wouldn't have to tell him herself, would she? No, the more he took in the situation she could see that reality was kicking in. Her hands were empty, after all. She would just wait 'till then.
It was hard to wait, including when he decided to check and see that his feet were attached at the ends of his limbs, and at the same time putting it in her line of vision. Not something she wanted to stare at. She found herself leaning back just a tad, hoping to give herself some distance. Once he put his foot away, Merodi was pretty sure that he had finally come to the conclusion, that he was dreaming. Even so, he had asked the question, and although she knew it to be quite retorical she nodded her head anyway.
It was then, now that he knew of what he had done, that she smiled. She was trying not to laugh, including since the seriousness of the situation had passed. He was already emberassed, so she didn't truly think that her humor in it could make it any worse. It was really silly for him to try and say he knew it was a dream. A person didn't act like that when they kenw it was a dream.
She tried to distract him, as best she could with her question, although it had to do with his dream. She was just too curious. "What happened in your dream that I took your feet? Seems rather gruesome to me."

Oh yes… the dream… that did its job on distracting Koga. Now, his mind was rewinding, going over the other details (meaning details other than the missing of the feet). And he remembered Kagome, getting so close to him, the crazed desire to snatch her, the mind-wrenching urge to let his hardened hands slide over her flawless skin. But then there was Merodi, who turned from him and walked away, as though he had struck her. And as he saw her back yet again in the visions of his mind, he thought of how much her hurt burned in him with shame, and how much her retreat filled him with horror. So he turned to look at her, still seeming semi-curious about his dream.
Beautiful, perfect Merodi… worrying over him. In all seriousness, he should be more worried about her. What would he do if she left? She, not Kagome, was more beautiful to him than anything, more picturesque. He wanted her to stay; now that he thought about it, could he really survive letting her go?
A sudden raging need struck him, a feeling like despair and desire. He needed her; he couldn’t let her go. He wanted to always be with her, and as he stared at her, he could almost feel wave after wave of sadness washing over him, could feel it in his heart and in his eyes. Now he thought he knew; he would be torn, between wanting her near and wanting her happiness. If she stayed she would be miserable, and if she left he would be. His heart would split in two, and he would die.
Why was this suddenly so important to him? When did he begin to feel like she was more than a faithful shadow? When did it all start? These were all the questions Koga could have been asking himself, but Koga wasn’t the type to worry about all of these. He had something much more important to worry about.
“You know I wouldn’t hurt you, right?” he cried suddenly, leaning forward, needing to be near to her, needing for her to hear what he had to say. “You know I want you to be happy, right? Are you happy? Are you alright, being with me? Will you stay with me? I don’t want you to go, but I guess…” For the first time in a while, Koga paused to take a breath, and to wonder. What did he guess? He gave in, and finally said, in a voice much softer before, as he leaned even closer, “I guess it’s more important what you want, right? Well, anyway, you’re always so quiet and accepting, I never know if you’re really okay. But I can go, if that’s what you want… or I can stay. Or…” Remembering that this was his territory, he amended, “You can go. But…”
This felt like he was revealing something huge. He wanted -- no, needed -- to see her reaction, but Koga – big, strong Koga – didn’t know if he could face it. Averting his eyes, he leaned back, sitting a respectful distance away. But he couldn’t resist; he looked back towards Merodi, because the need was too strong.
A need for her, and a need for her reaction.

((yep, sure is...eh, valentines day))
Merodi was confused. Such a simple question she asked, and he suddenly seemed so upset and depressed. Was his dream truly that bad? She didn't understand it really. She wondered what was going on in his head. What made him look the way he did. Maybe she had missed something. Something wrong that she should have known about. What made her even more confused was his question.
Of course she knew he would never hurt her. What she didn't know was why he asked such a thing. She was so confused. What was going on with him today? Even so, she made sure to answer his question with a small nod. And even after that, he was asking even more questions. So many questions, that didn't make any sense for what was going on. They all came at her so fast that she didn't know how to answer to them fast enough.
Yes, she was happy. Very happy to be with Koga. But also being with Koga made her sad too. With the whole, deer and wolf thing. But she wouldn't truly tell him about that. She just stared at him for a while, slowly allowing his words to sink in. He wanted her to be happy. Talking about him leaving, or her leaving. About him not wanting her to leave but if it was what she wanted. Goodness, what a dream he must've had to make him talk this way.
Merodi let out a sigh, letting her mind think over all the questions, and all the things he said. It was a bunch to think about. "I don't want to go, and I don't want you to go. I'm happy with you Koga."
Today was going to be filled with confessions, wasn't it?

Yep. At least on Koga’s part, this day was going to be full of confessions.
“Oh… right. Knew that, too.” While he was settled by her agreement to stay, and his neediness for her company was satiated, now Koga had to contend with the embarrassment of blurting out what was on his mind. Inconveniently, he remembered now that he’d asked these questions before… well, versions of them, anyway. What was he trying to do, spell out that he cared more about Merodi than anybody else in the world? Though he toyed with the idea of doing all the romantic crap (gushing “I love you” and all that jazz), he wanted to know what Merodi thought of him before he made any moves. He did not need this to get more awkward.
Suddenly wanting to get the spotlight off his feelings until he knew what Merodi was thinking (because the problem with having somebody so quiet was that he was practically NEVER going to find out exactly what she thought of him), he stood up, trying to spin something off what he had been saying, feeling privately proud of his wonderful idea to be smooth. “Yeah… so you want to stay, huh? Well, check this out.” He waved his hand broadly, trying to gesture to the entire area at once. “I was kinda hoping… well…” Shoot. His cleverness suddenly evaporated as he realized what routes he had chosen to take. Stupid, stupid ideas of his!
His mouth had run off in the direction of his feelings for her, again. But as he looked down at Merodi, he thought, Might as well offer it. “I was thinking… If you liked this kinda place… you could maybe, well, live here.” Suddenly afraid she’d say no, Koga started rambling… again. “Look, it’s got nice, soft grass, and running water, and places to look out, and of course you wouldn’t have to stay here but I thought maybe if you wanted someplace to call your own…” Koga flushed red again, embarrassed. He could practically feel himself radiating an aura of embarrassment.
“I guess it was a stupid idea,” he muttered, half to himself, plopping into a sitting position on the ground. Tucking his chin onto an upraised fist, he glanced at Merodi, feeling ashamed of his forwardness. He thought that he was going to avoid being like this with Merodi. Half forgetting that the deer demon hadn’t given an answer yet (as Koga had been rambling rapidly about all of this), he spluttered, “Were you singing before? You have a lovely voice, you know…” And there he went again, he realized. He was letting his mouth run off with his heart.

It seemed that something very odd was going on with Koga. What, she didn't know. She blamed the dream. But, even if his odd statements made her confused, she couldn't help but notice the little things. On how he wanted her to be happy. How he wanted her to stay with him. She couldn't find any reason to leave, but it was nice to think about. She wouldn't be leaving for a very long time. As he stood, it was one of those silent commands in her mind that she should stand too. So she did. Making sure to wipe away some dirt on her knees when she had been sitting.
Merodi looked at him, confused, as he gestured around the area. She looked around, wandering what he was talking about. She seemed to always have a problem truly understanding what he referred to. Of course, even if he go awkward he was able to make her understand. It was a nice offer. She did like this place. Except the whole area smelling like wolves. But that seemed to comfort her recently, instead of scaring her to death.
She could only smile, not really able to answer him at first as he continued to talk. Koga seemed to think she would say no. Maybe that was why he continued to blabber on. Or he was emberassed. She was still trying to figure him out. Once again, he was sitting, and once again, her mind told her to sit. So she did. Back to how she had been before, sitting on her knees.
"Of course I'll live here, since it is your home." maybe she shouldn't have said it that way. But it was true. She would live wherever Koga found his home. She had already thought this place as her home, because it was Koga's. His next statement made her blush just a bit. Oh, she hadn't meant for him to hear. He was supposed to be asleep!
"Thank you...it was just a song that was recently in my head..." She wanted to sing it. But she didn't want to sing it. It would add to the confessions that were piling up.

As it seemed Koga was the one making all of the confessions, he wouldn’t mind so much if Merodi just spoke her mind. And in her way, she did… with the way she said she’d stay.
For once, Koga’s mind was conveniently “with it”; he hoped he knew what Merodi meant by what she had said. “His” home was her home… Which only emphasized what she’d said earlier. And his fear of her denial was dispersed with the ray of happiness that beamed outwards from his chest. She would stay with him, in his home, because she wanted to. She would be with him, and that was all he cared about. He hopped to his feet, still going over and over this thought in his mind, for the sole purpose of taking a few steps to get closer to her and then sitting cross-legged in front of her. His mood had swung upwards, almost magically, and he grinned at her, so fiercely happy he almost missed what she said next.
Sadly for Merodi, a wolf’s senses are sharp, even if their bearer could be a bit slow at times. He picked up on her halfhearted attempt to brush the subject aside, probably because he’d been attempting (not to mention failing) to do the same thing so much that day. “Aha!” he exclaimed triumphantly, perhaps a little too loud for so close a range but in a voice that seemed extremely pleased. “You’ve come up with a new song, haven’t you? And you’re tryin’ to hide it from me! I knew it!” Koga laughed, and although it was a teasing sound, it was also full of warmth, because he felt suddenly like skipping around. He’d figured something out… Merodi liked being with him… he was finally home… this was turning out to be a wonderful day!
Suddenly, he grinned devilishly at Merodi. Though he was only partly joking, he prompted, “It’d be selfish to keep whatever you’ve got to yourself, you know. Come on, let’s hear it!” Truth was, he had become insanely curious about what the deer demon was thinking. She didn’t voice her emotions unless he prompted her, and with her dancing around the subject matter like she was, how could he be anything but ragingly nosy?

Merodi truly didn't want to speak about the song, she truly didn't. The song she loved to sing...to herself, of course. No, that was a song, like many others that she kept to herself. She didn't make the songs, no, they were already made. How, she didn't know. Why they came to her, she didn't know. But it was what got her into so much mess. Suddenly he was closer to her. But it wasn't truly what got her surprised, it was his sudden exclamation when she had tried to get past the whole subject of the recent song.
Oh, but it hadn't worked very well. She was blushing even more in emberassment. Oh no, she knew where this was going. He wanted her to sing. She wished he hadn't figured it out. To know that she actually had been keeping it secret. When she normally wouldn't be so emberassed abour a song. Just this one. "I didn't really...come up with it..." she muttered. Although he probably didn't hear her. She had been mostly speaking to herself.
Merodi wished he hadn't said it, but he did. He wanted her to sing. 'Let's hear it' was his real words. But it was all the same to her. And although it wasn't completely a command, her mind took i t that way. That meant she had to sing. No arguing about it. She nodded her head in compliance, and also in defeat. And taking in a deep breath...she sang.
Just a day, Just an ordinary day. Just trying to get by. Just a boy, Just an ordinary boy. But he was looking to the sky. And as he asked if I would come along I started to realize That everyday he finds Just what he's looking for, Like a shooting star he shines.
He said take my hand, Live while you can Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand
And as he spoke, he spoke ordinary words Although they did not feel For I felt what I had not felt before You'd swear those words could heal. And as I looked up into those eyes His vision borrows mine. And I know he's no stranger, For I feel I've held him for all of time.
And he said take my hand, Live while you can Don't you see your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand In the palm of your hand.
Please come with me, See what I see. Touch the stars for time will not flee. Time will not flee. Can you see?
Just a dream, just an ordinary dream. As I wake in bed And the boy, that ordinary boy Or was it all in my head? Did he asked if I would come along It all seemed so real. But as I looked to the door, I saw that boy standing there with a deal.
And he said take my hand, Live while you can, Don't you see all your dreams lie right in the palm of your hand In the palm of your hand, In the palm of your hand.
Just a day, just an ordinary day Just trying to get by. Just a boy, Just an ordinary boy. But he was looking to the sky...

The boy in the song… he sounded familiar… suspiciously familiar… As Merodi was singing the third to last verse, Koga guessed that the deer demon wasn’t singing about some random guy she’d fabricated inside her head. Hadn’t he himself taken her along? He liked the thought that he was as amazing as the song made him out to be, and oftentimes, he did think of himself as awesome… but not always when it came to Merodi. But maybe… just maybe… it was possible that she could think of him as someone as amazing as he always wanted to be.
To her.
As she sung “take my hand” for the last time, he wanted to do just that… it was a miracle that he could refrain, if just to hear the end of the song. It was, after all, a beautiful sound that was coming from between her lips, as beautiful as a wolf’s howl, as picturesque as his own territory, as lovely as every part of Merodi he could imagine. Those lovely lips… but he wasn’t going to do anything, at least not at the moment. Not to spoil the song…
But as she sang the last few words, and he sensed that they were at the end, he couldn’t resist everything that he felt like doing, not if there was that chance, which was looking better every minute, that maybe Merodi could feel the same way about him that he felt about her. He reached out with his left hand and slipped his fingers into her palm. Koga’s fingertips tingled at the contact, and the blood seemed to grow warmer in his veins at a touch so simple… yet somehow so sensual.
Wonder if all her dreams really are in the palm of her hand… he mused to himself, as he smiled at her. Her touch, her face, her being, they all made him feel so gently protective inside. Truly, she was so beautiful, the way she was covered in that fine velvety layer of fur, and her eyes were so large and innocent… he couldn’t help himself. He realized that he really, deeply wanted to be able to make her able to sing such a song, that he showed her the way to everything she dreamt of, that she could see him as such a guiding, wonderful figure. It was just amazing.
Wanting to be as connected to the song as he could, and refusing to remove his fingers from her palm, he tilted his head back and smiled at the sky. “Live while you can, huh?” he repeated softly. That was right… who knew how long they would have together? Merodi hadn’t rejected him yet, and what if she never did? He suddenly burned to have her know exactly what he felt, if it meant that there was that chance for her to feel the same way about him. He slide his fingers down her hand, gently pulled it into a good position by the wrist, and slid his fingers between hers.
Hoping, courageously hoping, that he had done the right thing at a time that really mattered, he tilted his head back down to look into her beautiful brown eyes with his sharp blue ones, eyes that were as gentle as they could ever be.

Merodi regretted singing the song. She did, she truly did. Even as her body tingled, excited, rejuvinated that she had finally gotten the lyrics to fall from her lips. Her mind and body clashed if it was a good idea to sing or not. Even so, it was already too late. She knew he thought she was singing about him. And although she also felt as she was. The song, truly, wasn't about him. Actually, she didn't know who it was about. But for her, it was Koga.
Merodi looked down at her hand, in which he touched her. Something simple, but in her mind she knew there was more to it then that simple touch. She looked up at him, dazed for a moment. He was the boy in the song, and she couldn't see him any other way. His smile was contagious and she couldn't help but smile back. Even as her mind was still taking in how he reacted to her song. Little hints, but she was starting to realize. Did he...care about her? Well, yes, she knew he cared. But just how much she had not known. But she was starting to understand.
Merodi felt so dumb struck, really. The way he looked toward the sky, just as in the song, and as he spoke. "Yeah..." she somewhat replied, her voice sounding almost breathless. Her song had brought out something she hadn't expected. She was just so dazed and awe struck that she couldn't find real words to say. She looked back down at her hand as his fingers seemed laced with her own. Still in the daze mode, she didn't even blush as she lowered her head, but continued to stare up at him through slightly lowered lashes.
It was clear as day, in his eyes how he cared about her. She didn't know why it took so long to see it. But even so he mind wouldn't let her completely lose herself to this moment. The common sense of wolf and deer still nagged in the back of her mind. But she ignored it for now. She wouldn't want to ruin this moment. No, not just yet.

Her eyes, which never really hid much of anything, revealed to Koga at least this much: Merodi wasn’t about to reject him or his touch. And, as he could see himself reflected in those liquid brown pools of light, he knew he wasn’t exactly hiding the way he felt about her. Not anymore. He couldn’t force himself to deny it for any longer, and the truth hovered in his heart and mind.
Screw the rules, and screw the natural order of things. The things that Merodi were concerned with held no ground in Koga’s mind; if humans and demons could end up together, why not two demons? You know what? he thought, not speaking to anybody in particular, except maybe the part of himself that had for so long been unsure of the way he felt. Maybe I do love her. Maybe I’ve never loved anybody before, but I love Merodi. There you go, I said it: I love her!
He lowered their intertwined hands, resting them on her leg. Closing his eyes, he leaned forward, so that his cheek was just beside hers but not touching, to the point where he could feel the electrical pulsing of being so close to her, and inhaled quietly. Her scent flowed into his nose, and he smiled. Sure, she was a little sweaty and grimy; he couldn’t pretend she smelled exactly like a basket of roses. Still, she was Merodi alright, and her distinctive smell was just as welcome as the touch of her hand. He was tempted to close the distance between their cheeks, but then he had another idea, and his smile broadened.
Koga shifted his head, pulling back for a moment before gently leaning his head forward, until his forehead came to rest against her bangs. Their noses were close to touching; if she shifted, they’d rub against each other. Opening his eyes, Koga met her gentle gaze with his, and he realized just how close they really were. Sighing softly, he closed his eyes again, just resting there. Despite his catnap, Koga was still pretty tired, and all the excitement was starting to get to him. For once in his overly busy life, it felt nice just to relax and be close to the one he had already mentally proclaimed that he loved so much.
Speaking of which, he wondered if he should say what he felt out loud, too, or if that would be too much for Merodi. Well, if she didn’t understand it yet, she was not as smart as he’d taken her to be. Still, saying things out loud put more weight on something, made it more real. Quietly, much softer than he usually talked, and so much gentler, he murmured, “I think I gotta tell you something.”

Merodi worried about the true balance of things. How wolves and deer were supposed to be. Even though at the moment she too could care less, she knew that the odd animal match would not be good. Including for Koga. She wasn't sure, but she didn't know how other wolves, or deer for that matter, would think of them. Discriminated against by both breeds. Oh, who was she to think of this now? When there was just her and him. Nothing should matter right now. Why worry now? She should worry once the moment was gone. When she was truly able to completely think straight.
Merodi could feel her heart pound just a bit faster as he leaned in closer. For a moment, she thought he would kiss her. And in that moment she realized that was what she wanted him to do. Even so, she still felt relieved. He was so close to her. Their cheeks could touch if she just leaned a bit to the side. She didn't do anything though, just allowing herself to sit and relax, and enjoy how close her was. She could hear his intake of breath. First thing when this was over. Take a bath.
Merodi looked at him curiously as he moved away, even so she seemed happier with his forehead against hers. It just seemed more comfortable to her. She was surprised things hadn't gotten awkward yet. Including since they both decided not to talk. She felt at peace. Just sitting there, his fingers entwined with hers and his forehead against hers. Just staring into his blue orbs for a moment before allowing hers to close as well. She couldn't help but smile. She hoped this moment never ended.
Slowly she opened her eyes, just a bit as he spoke. "Hm?" she felt too relaxed to actually speak for the moment. Although she wondered what he wanted to say to her.

He had to tell her. He had to tell her now, before he lost the words. He had to be brave and bold, like he was always supposed to be; he had to charge ahead and do this thing. He needed to tell her, because it was more than wanting her to know; she had to know, or… nothing would happen. In this case, this was not the favorable outcome. Koga didn’t often appreciate inaction, after all, and he knew that, no matter how Merodi felt, he was the one who was going to have to say this. So come on, Koga, spit it out…
The words seemed almost stuck in his throat. Was he… afraid? How un-Koga-like. What little they had, he was afraid of losing. What if he could never just rest with his forehead against hers again? But he had to act, he knew he did. When you get on the diving board, you just have to jump, because once you’re jumping, you can’t turn around and fly back to land.
So Koga, after a pause, jumped.
“You know what?” he murmured, quoting his thoughts. “I love you. That’s it, I love you.” What else was there to say? Nothing: three words said everything. With his hand that was not locked with Merodi’s, Koga reached up lift her chin while he pulled away, if only for a moment. Staring down at her face, his eyes roved around, as though he’d find an answer to every question he’d ever had in the contours of her features. Apparently, he found something in her expression, something in the way her face was shaped that bolstered him to do what he wanted to.
Moving his hand from her chin, he pulled back the reddish curtain of bangs, exposing her forehead to his view. Slowly, but persistently, he leaned forward, savoring every moment he sat there, feeling the warmth of her body so close to his, until he could practically feel the gentle prickles of her fur against his lips. At that point, he gave up on being slow; he just leaned the last centimeter or two and rested his lips against her forehead; not a kiss in the best sense of the word, but still, this was something that Merodi would probably categorize as one. After a moment, Koga leaned back again, and released his hold on her bangs, letting them fall back over her forehead.
Then he wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her a little closer to him.

Even though Merodi had already guessed his feelings, it was still shocking to actually hear it. Her mind went over what he said. Over and over and over again. He loved her. Her. Of all the other wolves, humans, demons out there, he chose her. Although she had to remember she was the only person around him since their travels truly began. Except that one time with the priestess Kagome. To think, someone like Koga, someone like a wolf, could love her. She had feelings for him for a very long time, always expecting to be nothing more then a shadow.
But with his huge confession of his feelings, she had no idea on how to reply. If she should tell him how she felt. If she should express it in actions, or in words. Or not at all. It was hard, when her mind had always been plagued on how long a relationship between a wolf and a deer could last. And the whole Naraku. Were they not still searching for him?
As he lifted her chin to meet his gaze, it seemed all of the worries she had melted as she looked into his striking blue eyes, and the feelings she could see mixed in the blue. There was no way she could hide her feelings from those dazzling orbs. As he moved in closer to her she blinked, confused on what he was doing at first before she could feel his lips against her forehead. She blushed, her face turning red she tried not to, but it was hard since he just kissed her (in the most innocent way possible) and confessed his love to her.
Suddenly he had his arm wrapped around her waist and she found herself pulled even closer to him. The more that relaxed moment seem to pass, the more her mind freaked out about how a wolf, Koga, was in love with her.
"Koga, I..." she didn't know what to say. If it was to tell him how she felt, or what worried her. She didn't know what would be okay to state her opinion, or her feelings since she was always just quiet and obediant. Accepting what whoever controlled her said. But now, she had an opinion. He wanted her to speak up. But even so... "I don't know what to say..." she stated, with a small nervous laugh. Nervous for having to speak, and comment on what he had stated. It was harder then she thought it would be. But as she looked up at him she knew she have to speak of it sooner or later. "I'm happy, but I'm worried at the same time."
"Is that alright? Or should I have not said anything?" she just didn't know anymore.
