Soothsayer seemed distracted from Cross's question as he looked toward Koneko. He blinked, suddenly intrigued with her action of boredom and he leaned down to pet the top of her head. He stood straight again with the action done, looking back toward the blind girl.
"Now this is getting even more delightful then before. How do you not even know what you have?"

"Well arnt you going to tell me if I dont know?" she asked Soothsayer, not in a demanding tone but a confused one instead. What was he thinking anyways? Had she really somthing that she knew nothing about?

Koneko blinked at the feeling of Soothsyaer petitng her head and glared at him as he looke daway and back at the girl. She stopped scratching to lsiten, a huge blush coming to her face from being treate dliek a hous ecat or something related to a cat!

Soothsayer glanced back at Koneko, he laughed and found amusement in her emberasment as he finally spoke back to Cross. "Oh, I don't know if I can spoil such a secret and give it away. Ruins all the drama!" he smiled happily. Of course, such a conversation didn't really satisfy him as his other thoughts did. Like those of his beloved. "But if I must, I will say this. What is in your eyes is the same as what is in Koneko's hand." he said it as such so it wasn't actually him giving it away.

Koneko looked at ehr hand as it registered through her brain. "Umm, actully Soothsayer, I gave it away... to Inuyasha, the half-demon in the nearby village." She confessed. "I kind aregret it becaus enow I can only come here by coming bakc with him and a girl I know named Kagome."

"What was in you're hand before anyways?" Cross asked Koneko, still confused. Does Soothsayer hate me or somthing becasue only right now, Im kind of getting annoyed with him... she thought to herself as she turned her head towards Koneko.

Soothsayer frowned as he stared at Koneko and the new information he was sure he should have known before hand. He found himself emberassed being caught with less knowledge then he showed himself to be. Being an all knowing god had its limitations when stuck in this demon body. He looked away, saying nothing as he pouted to himself. Great, his happiness was gone. If only he could hear his belove sing, that would cheer him up. Sweet dear Touched One...
Lost in his own day dreams Soothsayer found himself ignorant of what they spoke to each other in his time of silence.

Soothsayer nodded. But realized that she probably couldn't see the action. He didn't care to correct himself. "Must have been placed without your knowledge, the reason your blind, probably."

"Well it doesnt matter if the shards in my eyes made me blind, someone put them there for a reason" she said her voice sounding almost angry like he had suggested to have them removed. She wouldnt have that, anyways it might also be the reason she can calm demons and she wouldnt trade that for the world.

Soothsayer didn't say anything, finding her tone rather irritating. "Uh-huh, sure." he said, reaching with his hand to scratch the back of his deer like ear. It twitched lazily and he turned away from the both of them. "I have important matters to attend to, I shouldn't be here to chit chat."

Koneko sighed, almost in a sad way, ALMOST, and stood. "I'll have to go too... I wanna explore some more." She murmured, shoving he rhands into he rpockets.
