The Bush and the Ball (Aiko, Ryuu)

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Tempa concentrated on the ball, pushing it back to him when he rolled it toward her. She ignored the quesiton when concentrating. "Mama and Papa are at the hill." she said, brows furrowing. "Papa should be coming soon."

[Naraku]

He smirks as he looks back towards her. "Might be best to not tell them about me, it can be our little secret." He thought as he figure it be best if they thought she was alone then ever knowing about him. he catches her and moves the ball back towards her.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

"Why Bushey?" Tempa asked, picking the ball up so she could concentrate on the conversation and not the ball. Why couldn't she tell her parents she made a new friend? Her father would be happy to know that someone had saved her from a snakey.

[Naraku]

"It will be fun, noone will know, And I'll make you a promise, That I will sneak here and play with you any chance I get." He looks over at her as he begins to get side track thinking of the creatures that would be in this aera, and how any of this would even work.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Tempa frowned in though. "I no sneak...Papa will know, Papa will smell you." she sniffed. She knew his scent now from the bush, and she called him such from the familiar scent of that ball retrieving bush.

[Naraku]

He slightly chuckle as he looks at her, Well that maybe so, but none of them would ever figure out what I am since I am far from a demon." He gently places his hand onto her head and gently pets her.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Tempa smiled, closing her eyes as she enjoyed the affection. "Are you half human then? That's what sissy is." she said with a pout. Everyone that wasn't her mother and father were brothers and sisters. What else could she call them?

[Naraku]

"No I am neither human nor demon. " He smiles once again as he moves his hand down and gently and playfully pokes the tip of her nose.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Tempa smiled up at him, giggling at the simple action as she grabbed his finger. She was too entertained to ask any other questions.

Back on the hill the deer demon had been distracted by a group of wolf demons who had brought home their hunt for today. Meat started to make her sick again and she had lost interest in it. But having tasted it made it easier to handle them eating it. She watched them heave the great mass of meat to the mountain as she turned her attention back to where she had been sure Tempa had been.

Seeing the disapearing child didn't worry her all that much, she was used to the little girl wandering about. She called out the girl's name, stepping down the hill and into the forest as she followed the scent of her daughter.

[Aiko]

Koga had left Merodi for a moment to grab a leg of the carcass the other wolf demons had been hauling back home. He ripped off shreds of meat as he returned to his mate at a light trot, the raw but hearty taste of uncooked meat heavy on his tongue, the flesh still warm from having been alive not so long ago. He waved the leg at Merodi, as he did every so often to see if she spontaneously started wanting meat again, but she seemed disinterested in her mate’s meal. Shrugging, the wolf demon gnawed through the meat to the bone as the deer demon started heading down the hill, calling for their daughter.

Wiping a bit of blood off his lips with the back of his hand, Koga trotted after Merodi, wolfing down his meal until there was nothing but a bone left. He nibbled thoughtfully on the bone for a second, testing it with his teeth, before he discarded it. [brown]“Since when has calling Tempa done any good?”[/brown] he teased his deer demon mate as he walked easily by her side. Then, after a moment, [brown]“Want me to go get her?”[/brown]

[Naraku]

He smiles as she holds to his finger. He head slightly then tunes up as he could hear voices calling for the girl. "I guess now I must leave you be little one. Your mommy is coming so I must leave." He says as he climbs up to his feet, and slowly pulls his finger free. He had been so side tract he forgot the main reason why he was even in this part of the forest. He leans down making himself lower to her. "Until we meet again, Little one"

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Merodi frowned, crossing her arms over her chest. Tempa would have to learn to come when they called, it was dangerous to wander as much as the little girl did! She glanced toward Koga, nodding to his question. Better go retrieve Tempa before the child got into trouble. "Good idea." she commented, looking back toward the forest and the sure path the girl would have followed.

Tempa pouted, holding onto her ball tightly. Her new friend was leaving just like that! Why could he meet her parents? Why was he not human or demon? When could they play again? So many questions in the little girl's mind but she spoke none of it. Deciding instead to mope. She stood up, turning away from her new friend. If he wanted to leave, he could leave!

Storming off as much as a three year old could she made her way back to where she heard her mother. She paused though, waiting for one of them to come to her since she wanted to be difficult.

[Aiko]

At Merodi’s agreement, Koga took off from her side, following the scent trail left by his daughter – a funny scent trail, since it combined the elements of wolf and deer and demon in an odd blend – weaving through the trees with ease, his feet tracing the familiar paths through his territory. Within a few heartbeats, he skidded to a stop right in front of the pouting form of his demonic daughter. Looking down at her, the girl’s father saw that she had that slightly stubborn look on her face that meant she knew she was being difficult. As always, Koga didn’t help the matter; he chuckled at the expression, then bent to easily scoop his little child into his arms.

The wolf demon held Tempa close to his armor-covered chest, smiling down at the little wolf-deer demon. Then his nose caught the acrid stink of a different kind of demon overlaying the smell of his daughter. Another second, and he identified the smell of a snake demon, and it was all over the girl’s small body. Koga frowned for a moment. [brown]“Are you causing trouble, Tempa?”[/brown] he asked her.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Tempa stared up at her father, and her pout deepened with him finding humor in her expression. She was trying to look angry! She kept the ball in her tiny hands, holding it close to her so she didn't drop it from her height with her father holding her.

With the question Tempa paused, adjusting the the ball in her hold so she could have a free hand in which she placed her thumb in her mouth. He had frowned, that means he realized her displeasure! Getting what she finally wanted, she replied.

"Yesh..." Answering with her thumb in her mouth, she sucked on it.

[Naraku]

Hiroshi knods, knowing she was upset that he just pushed her away, but this was the only real choice in the matter. He lightly sighs as he begins to leave. He leaps up into a tree as he begins to leap to the next tree before lossing his footing in from the moss of the tree, which was much more moist then back in his homeland. He Tries to catch himself, but still young and inexperence in new areas he fails, and falls back crashing hard and loud into the ground even causing some of the twigs to snap under him. He doesn't move cause he felt as he just disgraced himself before a new thought came to mind. 'I hope noone heard that......'
