Cats, Dogs and Preists oh my!(Ryuu, Sess)

[Rin]

Koneko decided not to lose her temper... she seemed to only ge tin troubel when she did that today. "I don't do it randoly ALL the time... and I guess to someone who runs around actully doing something excitign would say that. Music is my hobby... and it's not always pointless..." She sighed.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

"It is is noone asks you to sing. Just another annoying sound to add to a place that normally is more quiet." he snorted. He didn't want a stupid song, he wanted some peace! He wanted to be alone, or at least out looking for jewel shards. The hanyou had already wasted hers. No they could never complete the shard...if they never complete the shard, then he could never make his wish to be a full demon.

The more the hanyou thought about it, the angrier he got. His mouth was set in a grim line and he glared into the distance, trying to control the sudden ferocity. He wanted to snap at her, yell at her, blame everything on that stupid hanyou that the jewel had to be wasted on.

[Rin]

Koneko looked up at Inuyasha and sighed. "Man... hwen I finally someone of my own kind, he turn's out ot be nothign but a complainer..." HSe lenaed against the tree and looked at her hand. "You know... I CAN take the jewel out of my hand... but I don't wna tto. You see, I met someone here, and I really owe him an apology... I said some mean things to him." SHe frowned. "No, I'm jsut making an excuse. The truth is, I don't wanna leave, and never be abel to come back."

[Lord Sesshomaru]

A complainer...Inuyasha tried to ignore that. He was actually doing a very good job in not losing his temper. He closed his eyes for a moment, seemingly his brows were stuck furrowed and he still frowned. "In the end we need that shard, more then you ever will. So stop being so damn selfish."

[Naraku]

Miroku finally reaches the top of the hill and under the tree where Inuyasha sat. "Inuyasha, do you mind if I had a word with you?" Miroku looks up at him aware that he was already aggrvated, He traveled long enough with him to understand some of his facials expressions.

[Rin]

"Yeha... I know." She pulled the guitar strap over her shoulder and heade dto the stairs. "I'll be bakc later to give you the shard, I have to go talk to someone first." She murmured.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Inuyasha looked at Miroku and jumped down from his seat on the tree. "What do you want?" his mood was a bit better after being told they would be getting the jewel shard. Not that he particularly care that it made her sad.

[Naraku]

"Inuyasha, if you much perfer, You know we can begin a new search for some shards, There is plently of rumors of demons becoming more powerful, And even more rushing here to these areas, I hate to sound like Naraku but in a sense, this could benfit us, by searching for a demon that posses them over finding the shard itself."

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Inuyasha grinned. "Alright, let's go! We don't need no Kagome!" he yelled out the last part, looking away from Miroku as if he was stating toward the miko, even if she wasn't around. He huffed, crossing his arms over his chest. She never worked hard to get the jewel shards like the rest of them.

[Rin]

Within minutes Koenko was ocne again in the forest. SHe began lookign for Soothsayer. "Soothsayr! soothsayer, are you still around?" She called. "Damn, I hope I don't have to leave a message... Soothsayer where are you!?"

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Soothsayer was a bit of a distance away, playing his flute as his ears twitched to the sounds around him. He heard the chirping of birds and the whispering of the wind and anything else that seem to respond to the melody of the flute. He opened one eyes, hearing the call of his practically dead to him beloved. Yes, he was dramatic like that. He no longer concerned himself.

Instead, Soothsayer forced himself to pay attention to only the other noises. The one's that gossiped and told him information he would need. He heard of an evil half demon named Naraku. Of the Inu-tachi and of the people collecting shards. Of other random crap he didn't care about. Only one little bird seemed to chirp a bit of interesting information. Of a deer who was kidnapped by heavily armored warriors, but released, said it. One bloated with child that was near the mountains.

[Rin]

Koneko finally gave up and slowly headed back. She came to a small clearing to find some pretty flowers. She rememberd these form a tiem when she wa slittle, her dad had givne them to her on her 6th birthdya... He said they were rare in modern times, but int he fuedal era, they thrived.

She picked afew and went bakc to the village, where she got Kagome to hand her paper and a pen. She wrote a letter to Soothsayer, gave the shard in her hand(Which she pulled otu quite panfully) to kagome, and left.
"I WILL come back... but not for awhile. I'll wait for Higurashi." She said to the forest and placed the flowers infornt of the well.
She glanced at a bird who was sitting nearby, watching her. "I wish I could've tlake done last time to him... I jsut hope he finds the flowers." She shook her head and climbed into the well.

The letter or note said:

"Dear Soothsayer...

I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you in person, but I couldn't find you, and I needed to get home.
I don' think we'll be seeing eachother again, so... I'm just gonna say it. I'm sorry for insulting you, offending you, disrespecting you and being very selfish... THERE I said it.
