Game Day [open]

[Aiko]

Renée looked at Keiko with new, softened eyes as he spoke. No friends? So he wasn’t too different from her, then. Of course, she’d had friends, back in the States, but here, who did she have? As if in direct reply, the faces of Kouhei and Tsuyoi flared into her mind, and she smiled gently. She had friends, or at least two people that put up with her annoying presence. As for the rest of what Keiko was saying, about swords and lower regions and whatnot, it was all a bunch of nonsense as far as Ren was concerned. She didn’t know anything about those kinds of things. But the emotions behind not having anybody friendly around, ah, those were the things she could relate to.

The American squeezed the boy’s arm gently as they merged with that crowd that wasn’t preoccupied by video games. [green]“I don’t get what you’re talking about, ‘the way you are’ or whatever you’re saying. It’s not like there’s anything wrong with you, right?”[/green] Ren glanced sideways at the boy, as if to emphasize that last word. She couldn’t think of anything off the top of her head, though, that would make absolutely everyone reject a person, especially when that person was as amiable as Keiko seemed to be. It wasn’t like he was the one doing the rejecting or anything.

[green]“Anyway,”[/green] she continued, not waiting for an answer from Keiko and looking away, [green]“we could be friends, if you want.”[/green]

[Naraku]

His hands suddenlt clasp together as he turns to her, his golden eyes sparkling. "Really, that mean you be my first friend." His interest and excitement seem to be unreal, yet was obviously sincier. "If you like you can stop by at my place, it get lonly, since I am not allowed in the Big house. But its spacey, and I am sure we could find something to do."

[Aiko]

Pausing in her walking, Ren turned to face Keiko. He had this insanely excited look on his face that made the girl’s eyebrows shoot up in surprise. She didn’t think she’d ever seen anybody look so enthusiastic about making a friend. Was this for real, or was Keiko being sarcastic? But when his words kept tumbling on, Renée realized that he was dead serious about all of this.

When Keiko was finished, Ren’s green eyes widened a little more. [green] “What, you mean right now?”[/green] she asked, staring down at him with a face of shock that looked like disbelief. In her head, she was trying to puzzle out what “the big house” meant. Were there smaller houses or something? Ren pictured something like a farm, with a barn surrounded by a bunch of little sheds. The image was so ridiculous, and so obviously not what Keiko was talking about (though for all she knew, it was), the girl chuckled to herself. Realizing belatedly that Keiko wouldn’t understand her agrarian vision, she quickly added, [green]“I’m not laughing at you, I’m laughing at… er… barns.”[/green]

Keiko might come to regret taking the girl up on her offer to be friends.

[Naraku]

He looks at her strangly as he thinks for a moment. "Well we don't have any barn's just a stable, and the three main houses, that resign there. They are connected as one, but not at the same time."

[Aiko]

Renée flushed pink. [green]“I didn’t think you did!”[/green] she said defensively. [green]“I was just… oh, never mind.”[/green] The girl forced a grin. [green] “I’m just a weirdo, that’s all. Guess I should warn you before you decide to hang out with me.”[/green] An embarrassed chuckle escaped from her as she resumed walking, though she wasn’t walking anyplace particular. She walked for the sake of walking. As she looked away from Keiko, her eyes skimming the crowd, another thought popped into her head, and she stopped and spun around to face the boy with the purple hair.

[green]“Wait a sec. Did you say stable? As in, a stable with horses? Like, you have horses?”[/green] With each question, Ren’s voice got a little higher, a little more enthusiastic, until she was practically bursting with excitement. [green] “I love horses!”[/green]

[Naraku]

"Yes, our main stable has ten horses, but mine only has two." He lightly blush from her excitement but smiles. "If you like you could come see them then, from my understanding, there not much places around here that you can raise horses." Keiko reaches back lightly moving his fingers through his hair. "The only problem with my horses I guess, is they will only let you bareback."

[Aiko]

Excitement was about to seriously make Renee explode. [green]Twelve horses?[/green] she thought. [green]No fricking way! He’s right, the city isn’t really a place where you see a bunch of horses. I didn’t even think there were any! Gosh, when was the last time I saw horses?[/green] Not for several years, actually. She hadn’t ridden a horse since before middle school. She didn’t think she even remembered how. Actually, she just wanted to see the horses up close and personal. Back when she had done a little riding, she remembered how she had loved just being around them. Horses were so cool!

She beamed at Keiko when he was done speaking. [green]“Not a problem!”[/green] she said earnestly. [green] “I don’t have to ride, anyway. Maybe if I could just brush them or something…?”[/green] Her excited hands made broad gestures of everything she said, including a mimed gesture of her brushing a horse. Noticing her overactive gesticulations, she tucked her hands behind her back. She grinned a little sideways grin at Keiko. [green]“Just name a date and a time, and tell me where you live, and I’ll be there.”[/green]

[Naraku]

"Any time really, I am normally home and I would be free, whenever so come whenever you like. But I live at the exiting of the city on Higuri. Just come to the gates and press the buzzer to be let in. Oh and mind the dogs."Keiko smiles back towards Renee. his hands both back behind his back as he slightly turns his body.

[Aiko]

[green]“Hmm…”[/green] Ren leaned back her head as she pondered, her eyes losing focus as her mind honed in on the image of the calendar that was hanging on the wall back at the apartment. When was her next free day? Moments later, her green eyes snapped back to Keiko, and her mouth, which had flattened out thoughtfully, perked up into a grin again. [green]“After school, around five, two days from now sound good?”[/green] She just remembered that she conveniently didn’t have work after school on Mondays. At this point, the tall girl had her hands on her hips. She was starting to gain some confidence around her new friend.

[Naraku]

"Sounds fine to me, so is being with the horses all you really want to spend our time doing, or should I perpare anything?" Keiko smiles but really had no idea what to do, cause he never actually had fun with anyone before, nor had much fun himself, which let to him cutting lose so much once he played the game.

[Aiko]

[green]“I will be kept entertained.”[/green] Renée looked fake-serious for a second, then grinned her goofy grin and winked at Keiko. [green]“No, seriously. If we get bored with horses, we’ll find something else to do. You don’t have to, like, prepare anything special. Walks are always an option, after all.”[/green] Her point being that on walks, you didn’t have to bring anything for yourself. To herself, she shook her head, giving a falsely exasperated sigh. Keiko was acting like this was some big to-do! As if he’d never had people over before. [green]Well, maybe he hasn’t,[/green] Renée allowed, and looked back at Keiko. Stepping backwards, she said,[green] “So… I guess I’ll see you then?”[/green]

[Naraku]

"Monday." He smiles closing his eyes. "OH! I guess I could help you with the language, if we get time." He smirks placing his hands onto his femine hips, due to his curves.
