Tadaima met the boy's gaze and felt like he melted. So...cute. He wanted to hug the boy. "I have no idea how Tsu is able to resist you." he looked away, shaking his head as he regained his cool. "No, Kou-chan you hadn't done anything bad, but I guess you didn't get the question." he coughed, clearing his throat. "Anyway, I want you to take good care of Tsu, and don't worry about what others think, just go in and seduce him!"

A few more blinks and another confused, innocent look crossed his face. "What?" he asked. had he heard right. "I-I-I'm sorry. I can't. I mean... Senpai doesn't like people like me... He's straight. I am a bit feminine, but when it comes down to it I'm not really a girl. I don't want to ruin what I do have with him." He flushed and stared shyly down at his feet again and swung his legs. He bit his lower lip nervously. "W-was that all?" he asked. How was he supposed to deal with all this!? It wasn't as if this were all printed in some sort of Okama's Guide or something.

"He loves you!"
Tadaima paused, blinked and realized what he said before bowing his head in shame. "I'm sorry, I just lied, he probably doesn't love you...yet," He coughed before straightening. "But there's something, I can see it! And you do like him Kou-chan, I bet you could get him to finally give in if you just tried! He's too stubborn, he won't give in unless you help him!" He groaned, leaning back and hit his forehead. "No one can resist your cuteness."

Now is the time to insert some cheesy superhero movie music, because here, at what was undoubtedly the most inconvenient time ever, came the female friend and the moral support!
Okay, first of all, what kind of idiot left home and hopped in a cab, with her purse and all her money sitting on her kitchen table in the apartment? An idiot named Renée Donovan, of course! The cab had gotten halfway to the destination when Ren realized this problem, and she’d desperately asked the cab driver to turn around. Fathoming that his pay was at stake, the man did so, and Ren had had to race back up to her apartment and grab her ostentatious purse. Then she’d charged back down the stairs and thrown herself into the cab, already throwing extra money at the driver out of gratitude for his patience. And then they were off again, bearing down on the Angel Dust Café, weaving through city traffic. A few blocks away, Ren had given up, tossed the necessary money at the driver (with another gracious tip, of course), and hopped out of the cab. And there she was, marching down the sidewalk with a frazzled yet somehow still purposeful air.
Her hair, which she was wearing down and wavy today, whipped into her face constantly, though she fought it valiantly, throwing it back over her shoulders and the slim straps of her inconspicuous black tank top (though her flashy purse sparkled in reflected lights). She swung around a corner, still battling with her curling locks, and saw a familiar, tidy man stalking around just outside her destination with the air of a caged tiger.
[green]“Shi…itake mushrooms!”[/green] Ren spat, her face flushing. Why was it that she kept running into Tsuyoi Seishuku? Well, other than the times that she went seeking him out, she meant. Ren had been looking forward to seeing just Kouhei. But that was apparently not how the cookie was going to crumble. Shaking her head, more to get her hair to lie better than anything, the tall girl strode forward with an inner sigh and an outward smile.
[green]“Hello, Tsuyoi-san,”[/green] she said coolly, using Japanese for once (she had been getting much more comfortable with the language, as she had been forced into using it more and more). She nodded towards the Angel Dust Café, suppressing an inner shudder at the look of the place, just from the outside. [green]Kouhei-chan would…[/green] she thought. [green]“Is Kouhei-chan inside? (S)he asked me to come.”[/green]
[ooc: Okay, does Ren know yet that Kouhei is a boy? Or does she still think he’s a she? ‘Cause I can play it either way.]

((I dunno. You can play it either way. Or, she finally realizes that Kouhei is, in fact, a crossdresser in this particular case... Or is still too ditsy to realize this. -shrugs- She's your character.))
Kouhei opened his lips in shock, his eyes had grown to the size of dinner plates. Tadaima had just said something extremely shocking for any of the Japanese to hear. The boy calmed down when Tadaima said he lied. His lips closed and he stared at his hands. "Thank you for your kind words Tadaima-dono, but it is not something i can believe. I mean, I am me and senpai is senpai. If he liked me in the way you claim he might, wouldn't he have said something?"
He smiled brightly. "It is very sweet of you to say this though." He moved so that he was now on his knees, his hands resting on Tadaima's thigh. "Thank you," he kissed the older man's cheek.

Tadaima frowned, brows furrowed as he moved his mouth, trying to find words. He slightly blushed as the cute Kouhei kissed his cheek. He stared at him and the adorable cuteness of it all. And felt defeated. He sighed. "Kou-chan, think about it. You know him. You should know him well enough. Do you really think he will say something?" Tadaima gave the boy's hands a squeeze before he got up from his seat. "Just think about it." He straightened his shirt as he stood, facing Kouhei before bowing slightly. "Thank you for your company. I might see you again someday." He winked and smiled as he went to pay for the time he spent with his cute host.
Tsuyoi stopped, turning his head quickly to look at the familiar face of Renee. What was she doing here? He was still too confused and surprised to say anything, even though his expression hadn't really changed. He straightened himself from what he had been doing, his hands going into his pants. He nodded with the question.
"Yes, Kouhei's inside. I am waiting on someone." Tsuyoi turned toward the door as Tadaima opened it, his face depressed and seemingly lost the battle. The teen was glad although he didn't know what battle it was. The man blinked, glancing at the girl. He smiled. "Well, hello there." Before Tadaima could think of flirting Tsuyoi had grabbed him by the back of his shirt collar and dragged him away. "I will see you later Renee." Tsuyoi said as a goodbye, continuing to drag the man away.

[green]“Yes, alright.”[/green] Now that the shock of running into him had passed, Renée wondered why her initial reaction to seeing Tsuyoi was to want to walk in the opposite direction. It was probably because he always seemed so put together and she was so… not. Speaking in Japanese, though, was a small sort of revenge on the man, for making her feel bad about her lack of organizational skills. She resumed striding towards the Angel Dust Café when a vaguely familiar person slumped out.
For the second time in less than two minutes, Ren’s progress screeched to a halt. The man walking out of that door was none other than Tadaima, whom Ren had met when she had gone dancing with Tsuyoi! When he looked up and saw her, he smiled, and the girl’s cheeks flushed like she’d been affronted. She was attempting to stammer back some smart response when Tsuyoi dragged him away.
The girl ran her fingertips through her hair. [green]Get it together, girl![/green] she snapped at herself. [green]You’re going to walk in there and you’re going to stop being surprised by every damn thing that you see![/green] Squaring her shoulders, Renée marched the rest of the way to the Angel Dust Café, through open the door, and strode a grand total of four steps past the threshold when she stopped, already forgetting what she’d told herself.
What in the name of all that was bright and beautiful was this place?! Ren balked at the sight of what appeared to be a nurse sitting on a couch. Had she accidentally walked into a hospital waiting room? Only then did she realize that the “nurse” had a familiar, fairy-like face. Gripping her purse tightly to her shoulder, as if somebody was going to run up and try to mug her, the tall American bent forward slightly, her eyes staring. [green]“Kou-chan? You are Kouhei, yes?”[/green] Maybe she was wrong after all. Yes, that must be it. This strange person was going to say no, and Ren was going to apologize and go figure out where Kouhei really was…
[ooc: Haha I myself don't understand places like these so you'll have to excuse me for times my ignorance makes me say dumb things... And I'm going to play it that Ren thinks Kouhei's female.]

Kouhei had to think about that. Would Tsuyoi really say anything? Probably not. But that was possibly because Tsuyoi had nothing to say along those lines. It was hard for little Kouhei to see Tsuyoi as anything but avidly straight. He smiled at the man as he said his good bye. "Thank you for visiting Tadaima-dono." For a few minutes Kouhei sat on that couch, thinking.
Silvery brows furrowed and he nibbled on his lower lip. What if what Tadaima said was true? What if Tsuyoi really did like him that way? What should he do? He didn't want to loose that friendship on a possible mistake and misleading.
He sighed. A heard a voice, one that was extremely familiar. Kouhei lifted his face and smiled brightly. "Renrin... i mean Ren-chan!" He jumped up and hugged his taller, American friend. "How are you?" he asked in English.

So it was Kouhei… Ren felt a little awkward as her small friend automatically hugged her, but almost immediately relaxed. Okay, so it had been a little frustrating trying to get here, and a little confusing once here, but all was okay now, right? After all, she’d found her friend. Smiling with relief, the American returned the hug, wrapping her arms around Kouhei’s shoulders. She chuckled a little as the other girl started addressing her in English. Ren stepped back, holding onto her petite friend’s shoulders.
[green]“I am fluent,”[/green] she said, in Japanese that was smooth if not speedy. Then Renée laughed. [green]“To an extent, anyway. I am still learning.”[/green] She had actually practiced saying this in the mirror, of course, but it was true that she could speak the language of this land with much more confidence than the last time she had seen Kouhei. Being stuck in a country would do that to a person.
Shaking her head a little, Renée redirected the conversation. [green]“Enough about me! How about you? How are you? It has been a while. You look… different.”[/green] Ren stepped back and looked Kouhei up and down. [green]“When did you start medical school?”[/green]
