Morning. Tsuki was exhausted and without rest, after hunting all day yesterday, and fighting demons then walking all night with the snake demon. They only had stopped to get water from a stream then continued on their way. And now as the sun rose they were entering The Hejera Lands, finally. The huntresses’ grip on her bow loosened a bit as she peered up ahead of them, blinking slowly, and then tried to shake off her sleepiness. If she let her guard down now then there was no doubt in her mind demons would get her.
And as she had said before to the village woman; there was no rest for the weary. Her gaze switched from what lie ahead to her traveling companion, whose name she had yet to learn, “We continue on…?” Tsukiyomi asked though already knew what the answer would be. She just hoped that she could keep going like this…she hadn’t even eaten. Suck it up you cannot let him see your weakness or he’ll leave you behind and without protection. She reminded herself inwardly.

Noboru looked at the raising sun, it was a bit annoying at first, his eyes has to get used to it. The Hejera lands, if he was lucky enough he would find Sesshomaru in his way through it, if not, then possibly the next time. Noboru didn't stop walking anytime, he simply looked at the huntress when she asked the question and nodded a bit.
Noboru looked back at the huntress after walking for a long while. "We will stop to rest during the midday for a moment" He said quietly and coldly. Midday in the Hejera lands was a bit harmful for his skin and didn't want to be bothered by it, specially when there was nothing else but dead trees everywhere to protect him from the sun.
He didn't stop walking anytime. He could feel the huntress was uncomfortable, most likely due to fatigue, but she wasn't stopping him until midday and she better rest well during the time he will be resting.

(speaking of Sesshi I did invite him to join this thread ^.^ )
With a nod Tsukiyomi began walking after him again, pushing herself to get her tired feet moving over the rough terrain. Her reed sandals weren’t exactly comfortable after such a long time of walking in them. And had the ground not been so rocky, she may have walked bare-foot, but no such luck. If the ground leveled out then maybe she could afford to remove them but for now she would grin and bare it.
No signs of demons yet, but most were no doubt getting ready to sleep, depending on their breed most would have been out in the area the night before. She could sense them of course but none were close as of yet. “Midday…” A quiet reminder left her lips, and it helped to keep her going.

It wasn't long until the sun started to get annoying, Noboru's body was all covered by his heavy kimono so no harm from it yet, but it certainly bothered his eyes now. Place was heating up slowly as the sin raised, but even with all that heavy clothing, Noboru was not affected, he didn't even sweat, due to his blood being colder than humans'. In his lands, the cold is a problem, that's when the heavy clothing works as it should.
There was little wind at that time, his hair barely waved, same with his clothes. If lucky enough, it should get a bit more windy during the day or later in the night. The ground was hot, but he couldn't feel it directly because he was wearing black boots. Time passed and midday arrived, that's when the sun was at it's worst moment and the ground heated the most, making it very annoying and harmful for humans and some demons.
Noboru looked around as he walked and found a small rock formation, it was of decent size and it had several small caves that offered some reasonable protection from the sun and heat. He looked at the huntress then at the rock formation, then walked towards it as calmly as usual.

The demon lord made his way through the dead forests of Hejera Lands. He had little care for such a small thing as vegetation. The ominous appearance only helped in keeping people from coming too close to his domain. Even so, the demons that called this place home irritated Sesshomaru. Every once in a while he decided to get rid of the pest control problem. Including today. His annoyance was set after the idiotic hanyou he had met, who could be thouht of as worse then Inuyasha. The cocky, arrogant baka. At least Inuyasha was a bit smarter then him. He took his anger out on the lower demons he found through his walks. The forest was dead the farther he got from his domain. With the appearance of the hanyou butterfly, more greenery had appeared from her care or just because of her presence. It didn't bother him as of yet.
Sesshomaru walked forward, his intent on the demon's aura he was sensing. Something new trespassing onto his lands. It seemed more and more people thought they could get away with it. He walked toward the caves, not even caring to mask his presence or aura. He was sure they would sense him by now.

The huntresses’ own silky clothing began to stifle her in the heat of the day, she had no idea it would be so hot in these lands, as this was her first time going through the West. The light breezes every so often were very welcoming against her skin, shifting her kimono around to reveal part of the coiling tattoo that made its’ way up her one leg. It was more of a brand in her eyes…given to her as a result of the trade to the demon when she was a child. Getting it had been extremely painful and it was such a strange tattoo.
At times it looked more like a dragon, then there were others that it appeared as nothing more than a demonic snake. Tsukiyomi could never tell which; where the head rested up on her hip hidden by her clothes. Wiping a bit of sweat from her brow she sighed and glanced at the snake demon not noticing that it was midday yet. All she knew was that it was getting unbearably warm.
And then she felt something suddenly assault her senses, her eyes widening, and she peered around them. Such a strong demonic aura…I’ve never sensed anything like it before! As the realization sunk in her pace picked up, her gaze locked on the caves ahead of them, and she ran ahead of her partner into them. She would not have to ask if he sensed it or not there was no doubt in her mind that he did and she quickly disposed of the weak demons that were taking refuge in the cave. “Spirit Dispersal!”

It didn't take much effort to sense that aura. He didn't have the power to identify from who it belonged but he didn't have any doubt and he simply said "Sesshomaru... interesting..." Noboru looked a bit pleased now, he simply turned towards the direction Sesshomaru was coming and stood there, waiting for him to arrive. Things were going to become more interesting, for sure.
Noboru relaxed his body completely and focused in his moves and senses now instead of the landscape and whatever that happened around him, just focused on one single being, the one that was supposed to be Sesshomaru. It was not going to be an easy fight, but interesting for sure. It's been a while Noboru wanted to find out who was better, both had similar swords. Karasuhebi and Tokijin, both made of similar materials and by similar smiths, and Noboru's strength was close to Sesshomaru's.

Sesshomaru walked past the border of trees and took in the appearance of the first person his eyes laid on. The one with a rather powerful aura. A...snake demon, by the scent of him. He expected that the demon had a purpose in his lands. Maybe fighting for dominance over his land. Such a thing hadn't happened since he proved himself such a powerful foe. He could sense another person in the cave, he didn't look toward her as his golden narrowed gaze never left the snake demon.
But what he could get out with senses and smells it was a human female. With a considerable amount of power for an ordinary human. That mattered little to him, his interest was elsewhere.

The aura grew closer and Tsukiyomi appeared at the mouth of the cave, ready to question why the snake was still outside, until she saw the other source of power. She had heard a great deal about Sesshomaru, after all they were traveling through his lands but she did not wish to fight him. It appeared that the snake demon she was with though had other plans…It wouldn’t be wise to come between them. You’ve already seen what that sword of his can do…and you know what Sesshomaru’s reputation is. She told herself.
If anything the huntress was safer in the cave and would only attack if she was…and maybe if it looked like Noboru needed her assistance. “Don’t get yourself killed. You still have your promise to keep demon…” Tsuki mumbled but it was loud enough for the snake demon to hear.

Noboru stood there, now looking straight at Sesshomaru, neutral face as usual. Body relaxed completely, ready for combat. He didn't draw his sword yet. He waited for Sesshomaru to attack first. He was never good at starting fights.
Noboru didn't move his purple orbs away from Sesshomaru's, he was not going to miss any move from his. He wanted to try to predict his moves, and it didn't matter how fast Sesshomaru is, the eyes always tell what the next move will be.
Karasuhebi pulsed once, sensing Noboru's wish to fight.

Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed. He was definitely sure that a fight was what the snake demon wanted. And they believed that the demon lord would take the time to make the first move? What was the demon trying to pull? Trying to prove? Never would the demon lord purposefully fall into the hands of the other demon. Of course, he wasn't really in the mood for a stare down. So instead, he took a different route. "What do you think you will prove here by opposing me?"

No response didn’t surprise the huntress, the snake demon seemed 100% intent on Sesshomaru right now, and to tell the truth she was partially that way too. There was no telling what would happen and of course the unexpected did happen; the question. Even she didn’t know why exactly Noboru wanted to fight him, after all they had only known each other for less than 24 hours, and even then they weren’t on a first name basis.

Noboru narrowed his eyes a bit, actually a bit confused by the question "I am traveling and you arrived like this, Sesshomaru-Sama." Noboru looked east and thought for a moment, then looked at Sesshomaru again. "My intentions are to find out why you are so famous, Sesshomaru-Sama, so challenging you is the most accurate way to find out..." He said as coldly as usual. Still ready to fight. Focusing again on Sesshomaru.
Karasuhebi pulsed again, it seemed to be gathering energy without ordered to.

Sesshomaru took in the information he was given. Famous, huh? A challenge is what the snake wanted, it was easy to give him what he wanted. Why wouldn't Sesshomaru? He could respect a demon that wasn't an arrogant idiot. Including one that new how to speak to someone of his stature. "So you shall. The demon lord replied, placing his hand onto the hilt of tokijin before removing it from his obi at his side.

Hearing the conversation Tsukiyomi retreated a bit more into the cave but pulled out an arrow just incase she needed it. Which she doubted, both demons were powerful yes, but to her senses they seemed evenly matched. But only time would tell if she was correct or not. For now she would watch the two clash, and see who would win, not very eager to see one or the other die as a result.
