Noboru looked straight at the demon, with a cold look. "All those hopes for... this vermin...?" He sighed deeply "At least your size makes you a decent snack..." As he said that, he put his right hand in front of his face and looked at his claws, he was not using Karasuhebi this time. He wanted to make things interesting at least.
The roar that made the ground shake, didn't make Noboru get nervous even a bit. He ran to the bear demon very quickly and slashed at it with his claws, clean claws, not using venom. As he slashed he kept moving and stopped behind the demon, waiting for a response.

The demon growled, towering over them, before taking a swipe at Noboru with its giant paw when he approached. But of course the snake demon was too fast for it. Tsukiyomi decided just to stand back and watch for a moment, something didn’t seem right, this couldn’t be the demon they had sensed…Its aura felt different than what the huntress had felt.
Roaring in pain from the attack the bear demon turned and swiped its paw along the ground sending chunks of earth towards its foe. And Tsuki took this as an opportunity to weaken it even more, “Spirit Dispersal.” The arrow flew from her bow landing a direct hit in the creatures’ furry back. The demonic aura around it changed to that of one of the weaker demons they had killed.

Just as the demon started his attack at Noboru, he attacked again, getting too close to be hit with full strength, some bits of earth hit him but none managed to get into his eyes. Noboru thrusted his right claw into the demon's chest. Using some venom this time. If strike is successful, Noboru would have his whole hand into the demon's chest and Noboru would kick the demon away getting his hand free.
He looked at the huntress, those arrows were interesting but still not match for him, but still interesting. He thought about it for a couple of seconds then erased it from his mind.

With the last blow dealt the bear demon roared pitifully before falling to the ground, melting away to nothing more than a pile of bones. Tsuki approached then, nudging some of them with her bow, then looked at Noboru, “I’m sure you noticed it too but..I don’t think this is what we were sensing before. Unless it masked itself to seem stronger…” She murmured and picked up one of the claws then tucked it away in her quiver. It could be made into a strong arrow once it was properly exercised.

The blood on Noboru's hand vanished as the demon became a pile of bones. There went his meal, nothing, dry. Noboru looked emotionless again, a bit disappointed by all this but he quickly erased it from his mind, as a not worth to remember thing. He simply cleared the dust off his blue kimono and kept walking, more fake demons. Whatever...
Why did the huntress scavenged the remains of such a weakling? those bones are as useless as the demon itself, As he walked again towards The Hejera Lands he looked at Karasuhebi, it was made of his father's bones and scales, smithed so perfectly it looked and felt like metal... those were real materials for a weapon. He sighed softly and kept walking, it was calm, as he liked it.

Seeing him move away silently prompted the young huntress to run to catch up to him; he took longer strides when walking than herself. And he seemed to be attempting to keep to his word that there would be no talking during this little trip. It was fine, but the huntress had never had a traveling partner, and she suddenly felt like talking when usually she was quiet.
Now walking next to him again she noticed all was still, for the moment, and couldn’t sense anything. She’d keep her guard up more now but there was something she was wondering…something she had on her mind for a little while after being with this demon. “Why haven’t you killed me if I’m such a weakling?” A hand slapped over her mouth after she suddenly blurted the question out.

Noboru looked at the huntress, maybe she didn't get the 'no speak' thing as well as he expected, but *sigh* it was alright. She was not talking too much and wasn't as annoying as some he met and ended dead.
Noboru didn't look at her, he simply kept walking as calmly as usual "I don't believe you should die right now." He said coldly. He kept walking for a bit "You are not a bother to me at the moment." Noboru closed his eyes for a moment and opened them slowly again. It was a nice night so far.
Some silent time passed and Noboru looked straight into the huntress' eyes, still emotionless as usual "I hope you are not a demon slayer, because I would have to kill you." He said coldly.

Tsuki started to nod at the first answer, until he continued to speak after pausing, and of course she listened intently, “I see…that’s good to know.” She said more to herself. So he didn’t see her as a threat or annoyance as of yet that was a very good thing. And in truth she wasn’t since she had nothing against him; he had done nothing to warrant her wrath.
Gazing up at the sky she breathed in deep as a breeze swept passed them and she found herself relaxing-to an extent. The next statement from the snake demon surprised her, so much that she stopped walking for a moment, and then shook it off.
“No I’m not a demon slayer. But I was saved by them a long time ago….” She paused, unsure if she should tell him that she did train with them for awhile.

Noboru nodded slightly at the answer and kept walking, "Good..." getting the thought out of his mind as a not worth thing to think about now. Noboru kept walking all night and didn't seem to get tired physically, but he actually was a bit tired, it's been two days he didn't sleep. If things stayed calm, they should be at the Hejera Lands in the morning and that's when things should get a bit more interesting.
(moving to the Hejera Lands now?)
