Eden was kneeled at the side of the river, her fingers grazing the surface of the water. With a tilt of her head, her eyes peered upward to the other side of the body of water. As of right now she was on the eastern side. She wanted to make a point of crossing over but she wanted to wait until it began to get dark. It was in the darkness that she was most powerful. With a sigh, she moved her body back slightly so that she plopped on her butt with a light thud. Adjusting the skirt so that it didnt ride up she kept her hands at the edge of the cloth to keep it up. Despite the adorable look, the skimpyness of it all was quite a distraction. It was a shame that most others she knew found the look strange. With a shrug of her shoulders, she made a gesture with her hand toward the closest shadow of a tree, causing the shadow to take shape into a cat. The manipulation made its way toward Eden and then hopped on to her lap. "Ello there." She greeted with a small smile. She would wait until sunset. For now, she would stay here.

A young man walked at a slow, relaxed pace towards the river bank, near the demoness. He had black hair, and listless blue-grey eyes. A staff made of wood was held firmly in his hand, a sack with food and a blanket or two inside resting on his shoulder.
Daiki could sense the girl near by. In fact, she could probably see and sense him by now too. He loved the tingle that begna to crawl up hsi spine at sensing the other's aura. 'She's young... but strong.' He calculated.
He stood at the river's edge and took a deep breath. She was in 30 foot radius now... he could sense her.
Blind eyes glanced her way, a bored kind of smile came on his face as he looked at darkness where the youkai should have been. "How fair you this evening, my fair youkai lady?" He asked as he bent over to wash his hands, resting his walking stick beside him as he did so.

The small shadow kitty began to flare. The equivalent of the hairs standing on end on a feline ready for combat. It didn't take long before it hopped off Eden's lap and stood at the ready as a man came beside her a few feet away. With amused eyes she kept her gaze on the solid shadow and once she verified the threat of the male, she did a little twirl with her finger and the shadow cat dispersed. One look at the man gave Eden the conclusion that he was blind. It was the usual stare a blind person gives. Where they are looking at you but not really seeing you. It was an interesting thing. Though the fact that he could tell she was a demon without his sight was impressive. She would have guessed the abillity to sense that kind of thing would at least have some sort of connection with sight. "I'm doing fairly well. Yourself?"
As she spoke she adjusted herself, bringing her hands to the ground as well as her knees as she slowly crawled over to the blind man, her eyes filled with curiosity. Perhaps curiosity did kill the cat. Though, Eden was no cat now was she? She wasn't the typical angry or cold demon that she seemed to notice was the norm around here. Quite the opposite though, she acted on more the one occasion like a curious child, unless the situation called for a more serious perspective.

Daiki turned his head to the sound of the river. "I am well." He replied. "Tell me, what type of demon are you, my dear? Your aura is diffrent... darker, like a shadow." He asked, curious as to what she was. He made it a personal hobby to knwo as many kinds of demon auras as possible. So he would knwo what aura's he liked better then others... her's was very interesting.

Eden tilted her head slightly. She crawled the rest of the way, keeping her position on her hands and knees before crawling behind the man. She then sat up straight on her knees behind him, leaning forward and looking over his shoulder to his hands in the water. She wondered just how he became blind. Perhaps he was born that way, or maybe in some freak accident he became like this. Backing away slightly, she made her way to the other side of him on her knees, sitting herself only a couple inches away from his right side. Her upper body leaned forward, her nose taking in his scent as her eyes studied him intently, making a mental note of his appearance. "I'm a Nightmare Demon." She stated simply, finally leaning back away from him, allowing a sort of personal space now. "Glad to know I differ from the norm around here." She added, taking a sort of pride from his comment.

"Being blind brings both certain problems, and certain abilites, greater spiritual powers is one... and yes, your aura is quite interesting... I love the feeling I get when I'm in the presence of your kind..." He said softly and sighed.
"What dose the twilight look like tonight? Is it that beautiful color when the orange and pink are mixing togather?" He asked the demoness, leaning back on the balls of his heels lightly before standing up slowly.

Eden smiled slightly. It was an awkward sort of smile. She was never told that her presence was pleasent in any way. The name of her species sort of said the whole picture. Nightmare. Her abilities were nothing short of causing others both physical and emotional pain. Both in which is not pleasent in the least. Eden decided to drop the glamour. With a soft snap of her fingers, the image of what seemed to be a modern day school girl gave way to her true appearance. The blind man would never know how she truely looks any how. Unless he decided to feel up on her face, there was no way. Piercing yellow eyes with slited pupils like those of a cat peered at the blind man now. His question leading her gaze to the sky as he stood up. "Yes. Though more pink then orange today." She said, looking back at the now stood blind man. Getting up herself, she sighed and placed her hands on her hips. "You never gave a name you know."

"I'm sorry. My name is Daiki." He said with a chuckle, turning to the demoness. "And what is yours?" He asked politely.
He picked his staff back up and leaned on it a little to support him abit.

With a slight dip of her head, even though she knew Daiki couldn't see her, she introduced herself. "My name is Eden." Her voice now trailed off as the sun began to lower itself further, the shadows becoming more apparent. It's now that she could cross over the river on to the western side. It looked so ominous, Eden just had to look around there. Lifting her head back up, she crossed her arms just under her chest loosely before her gaze was grabbed by the opposite side of the river. "Where are you headed?"

Daiki shrugged. "No where and everywhere. I just travel to where ever my feet wish to go..." He also felt somethign from the western side of the river, it made him tingle with pleasure at the feeling. "Why do you ask?" He asked, brushing his bangs back only to have them fall into his face again, like always.

That was an answer Eden loved to hear. With a smirk, she let her arms fall to her sides before she made one long stride to be right in front of Daiki. Their noses could almost touch if she were to move just one centimeter closer. The beauty of a blind man was that Eden could express her true nature without him ever bearing witness to it. Grabbing his arm that didnt hold his staff, she tugged on it slightly, her eyes radiating amusement and anticipation. "I was originally going to go on my own... but how about you tag along with me to the western side." She asked, her smirk becoming a smile. Daiki seemed to enjoy dark auras and if she were to use her own as an example, then he would probably love the things that were on the other side of the river.

Daiki raised a brow. "You are a strange one, I have not known demons who have even cared for the company of a human." He thoguht about it for a moment, before he smirked playfully. "Sounds liek ti might be interesting. And I would like the company of a demon. Yes, I will go with you, My lady Eden." He agreed.

His response broke out a huge grin on Eden's part. This was terrific. Even if Daiki was only a human, she was sure that he could take care of himself. It didn't seem any human around here couldn't. She then tugged on his arm a bit more, leading him over to the most thin part of the river so they could simply cross over easier. She wasn't quite sure if he would mind her picking him up and jumping over or if he was one of those men whom seemed to have something to prove. Releasing his arm, she gave him a side glance and looked him over. He didn't seem the type, hell, he even called her 'Lady' Eden. He actually gave her a title of sorts, a demon of all kinds of people. "You don't mind me tossing you over the river do you?"

Daiki nodded. "I think I would prefer your help. I may be able to sense auras, and where I am, I can't swim." He replied, not feeling embrassed at all to say he could not swim. He didn't think he had much pride except in his ability to sense auras and fight evne when blind. But he didn't brag about either one.

With that, Eden positioned herself behind Daiki. Looking over his shoulder multiple times to make sure she wouldnt miss, she kneeled down and grabbed hold of both of his ankles. Looking passed his legs to the other side once more, she readied herself. ""You might flip, you can land a flip right?" After that said, she didnt wait for an answer. Positioning her feet directly under her, she lifted Daiki off the ground and with a push against the ground she pushed him in the direction of the other side of the river. Releasing her grip, she steadied herself and watched the blind man go.
