She was devastating beautiful. Ethereal. There was no being on this earth quite so lovely. Her body was slim, delicately curved. She might have blown away in the wind, but her body had more substance that it appeared, at first. Her hair was the soft, pale silvery of moon beams and stopped at her waist. The same pale hair outlined large, black eyes. The shone like night, but held more mystery than any starry sky. Her lips were a pale ruby color and contrasted greatly with her tanned skin. This skin was the only coarse thing about her. In a world like this one pale skin was considered beautiful. To be tan was to be heathen. She was already heathen for existing though. The proof in this was the pair of antenna that adorned her pretty head and the beautiful pair of butterfly wings that protruded from her back. They were striped with black and the pale, beautiful silver-lilac.
Her body was clothed in something earthly. They didn't quite match the beautiful girl, but it was all she had. She wore a kimono, the fabric hugging close to her slim figure. It was a deep red color, darker than blood. Embroidered in it was a phoenix of pale gold. It was a magnificent dress.
She was hanyou. Butterflies were one of the most beautiful of all demons... This girl was one of the more plain ones, due to the fact she was only half. There was no hiding her true nature, though.
She had left her group behind, as she had to do occasionally. She needed time to be alone, to think, to re gather her energy. She often found trouble, she seemed to attract it with out meaning to, but that did not matter. She was in a forest that held so much memory. It pushed it onto her and she accepted it, watching it move passed her lovely eyes. She settled against a large tree. She leaned against it, closing those eyes. She could see the boy who had been captured here for so long. She could see his pain, what had happened. She saw his freedom... and the girl who did it. She smiled, lightly.

Kagome sighed as she walked in the woods. She knew that was a bit dangerous to be out her alone, but she had wanted to think for awhile. Soon, she came near the tree where she first met Inuyasha. She rememberd how he'd looked like he was asleep, but that he had really been under a spell. She sighed at all the memories she had of the things Inuyasha and her had gone through on they're search for the shikon jewel, and how they're friendship had lasted so long... Kagome suddenly froze, she saw a yound woman with beautiful wings, WINGS, lenaign against a tree. 'A demon?' She asked herself.

Brigantia opened her eyes as a presence came near. Her smile widened. "Ah... Finally, we meet." She pushed herself off of the tree. Where she might have once flown away quickly she now stood to speak. It was not any new found power she had achieved. Her senses were immaculate. Her body was still so weak. Epsilon was still buried deep inside of her. Memories still wanted to be seen. No, these things were old. But in loving another, in being loved she found a new confidence in herself. She became less skittish and much more lady-like.
"You are the young miko who freed the boy from his bonds?" her fingers brushed over one of the large roots of the trunk. Black eyes glanced up at the branches which swayed over head. Light tried to force its way through the branches and green leaves. "You are the Kagome who the land has whispered so much to me about... It is wonderful to meet you at last." She looked back at the poor young lady who obviously had no clue who she was. That was all right. She need not know just yet what her relation to the girl was.

Kagome was confused. Who was this dmeoness? was she a friend, foe? She looked so fragile though... but looks could be hide things... Kagoem knew that well enough.
She decided she would anser. She nodded slowly. "Yes, I'm Kagome... and I did relese Inuyasha from the tree... Who, are you?" She asked.

Brigantia laughed, but it was a kind, gentle sort of laugh. "You need not fear me, Kagome-san. There is nothing I can do to hurt you. My name is Brigantia. I am a hanyou... a half-breed." Her light lashes lowered and she stared at the mossy ground for a moment. Her eyes lifted again. "How is Inuyasha-san?" [/b]she inquired softly. She took no step forward. It was almost as if to prove she meant no harm. Really, there was nothing she could do. Kagome was probablt more powerful than the little hanyou.

Kagome relaxed, slightly surprised that Brigantia was a hanyou. 'Sometimes I reallly envy Inuyasha's smelling abilites.' Kaogme thought wistfully. When the hanyou aske dhow Inuyahsa was, Kagome blinked. "He's... He's doing fine... why are you asking me something like that?" Kagome asked.

Brigantia giggled. "Obviously I have met him before. It was a short, yet interesting meeting." [/color] Brigantia leaned back against the tree again. The rough bark and thick trunk easily supported her light weight. Her wings seemed to disappear from her back, like they had melted with the rays of sun which tried to valiantly to reach the forest floor. "It is good to know that he is doing well." Opal eyes studied the young miko.
The tiny tenshi awaited the shocked response of 'how did you meet'. That would be the inevitable question, correct? It wasn't everyday a pretty little fairy claimed to know your team mate. She had nearly died on the day of their meeting, as it were. Sesshomaru had almost gone to kill Inuyasha because he blamed the boy for her wounds. In truth it was Naraku who had hurt another young woman. She had taken on the girl's wounds, as Sesshomaru had told her specifically never to do.

Kagome did ask the question, "How did you meet?" She wasn't very surprised she didnt' know about Brigantia from Inuyasha, he keeps so much of his past to himself...

The girl stayed quiet. Dark eyes continued to study, gauge her. "Do I make you uncomfortable?" she asked softly. The bronze skinned butterfly took a single step forward. "I assure you I really am safe." She sighed, looking out, back into the forest. "May I ask why you have ventured so far away from your friends?"

Kagome was alittle disappointed Brigantia avoided the question, but decide dnot to press the issue. Kagome blushed at the first question. "I-I know, it's jsut I'm abit use dot dmeosn attacking me and my friends and stuff, so... it's kind of a habit." She confessed sheepishly. as to the next question, she sighed. "Oh, me and Inuyasha are... having alittle trouble, and I wanted to take a walk..." Kagome replied.

Brigantia nodded slowly. She knew the fear, understood what it was like to have to run from demons. The flesh of a butterfly was the most delicious of all demons.
Trouble? Interesting. She knew Inuyasha to be a mouthy sort of boy. Kagome seemed nice enough but she knew very little of the girl, beyond what the Earth offered. But she could see where their pride might cause them to disagree or get angry at each other about something. She had yet to have a real fight with Sesshomaru...
"I hope your troubles clear up soon, Kagome-chan. A walk is a good way to clear one's head." [/b] She knew that perfectly well. But helping the mind calm down was not the only thing it was good for in the butterfly's case.

Brigantia nodded. "Yes, I am on a walk. No, I need not see Inuyasha-san. I do not think he would welcome my appearance too much." Or rather, her lover's appearance. She knew there was animosity between the two. She wished they would get along together well one day. It would be wonderful to have a brother of sorts. "Thank you for the offer dear." Brigantia moved to sit on the root of the tree. She settled comfortably.
"To tell the truth, I have been wishing to meet you for a while now."

Kagome nodded softly at Brigantia's answer to her questions. She blinekd in surprise when the hanyou told her she had wanted to meet her. "M-Me? why? I'm not very speacial..."

Brigantia laughed quietly. "My dear, how many people do you know with the ability to purify the Shikon Jewl Shards from the evil of Oni? TO see where it is planted with in a body?" she inquired softly. "Only one other person I have seen... and she is you." Kikyou. "There are many demons who wish to meet you, but with a less innocent reason than my own." In other words, there were some demons who wished to eat her. They believed that if you ate the flesh of another you would gain their powers. If this were true or not had yet to be seen. "You are very special. Do not belittle yourself, Kagome-chan."
