Freshly fallen sakura covered the expanse of forest floor in a beautiful, decorated pattern. Bankotsu knelt down and gently picked up one of the many fallen flowers. "Ah, the sakura, the flower that lives only to die." With saying that, he crushed the flower in the palm of his hand and let it fall back to the earth. As he walked, he muttered to himself, "But me, I refuse to die again!" Banryu gently rested upon his right shoulder as he walked. Sakuru Forest, so this is the dwelling place of the kitsune...

Noli moved aside some tree branch's and walked into a fast medow of tree's and flower's.....execpt these flower's were only the head's that had fallen from tree's. Noli jumped a little when he say a young man in a cotten battle suit weilding a Huge halbered......"Wait a sec" noli said to himself the shouted "You there....are you....bankotsu of the band of seven?"

Bankotsu turned to address the man with a smirk. He easily stabbed the halberd's blade into the soft earth and took a seat amongst the gently sakura. He folded his arms and closed his eyes, still maintaining a smirk. "Who wants to know?"

"Someone who know's you have quite the price on your head." Noli folded his arm's behind his head and leaned against a tree "But i've heard stories about the legendary bankotsu....and i only want to see....noli returned the smirk that bankotsu gave him "If he's as strong as legend has it."

Bankotsu sighed in boredom and his eyes remained closed as he spoke. "Well, I shouldn't have a price on my head if anyone had any sense. That damn dog demon wiped me out a while back. But..." He caught himself, why was he telling all this information to a mere stranger. "Hey, enough about me. Who are you supposed to be?"

"Me?" Noli chuckled "I'm nothing but a lowly wiped out race of demon slayer." Noli sat down on the ground and sighed "And i agree whoever put the bounty on your head must be an idiot....but still if you got offed by a half demon...that's not much for your reputaion now is it?"

A look of irritation and anger flashed acrossed Bankotsu's face but soon vanished. "Look I don't have to explain myself to the likes of you. That dog has more potential than expected from a half-demon." He looked to the sky but most of his view was blocked by the immense trees. "So did you come here for my head or not?"

He took the bait, and he bit hard. He rose to his feet, but his head was lowered and his face shadowed. "I'm not gonna die again and Banryu...Banryu thirsts for blood!" Bankotsu exclaimed as he lifted the halberd from the earth and pointed the blade toward the mysterious man.

Noli pulled out his demon sword and said "Well at least i dont need an overgrown toothpic to thirst for me....." Noli looked down at his sword and whipsered "Let's go fenrir." Noli jumped at bankotsu with full speed first swinging his sword at his feet then at his head.

Bankotsu jumped into the air to avoid the first swipe and backflipped to avoid the second. "Now, look what you've done to the sakura," he said with mock sympathy, "Now, let's see what this overgrown toothpick can do." A demonic aura began to engulf Banryu and Bankotsu charged, swiping at the man's shoulder.

Noli bocked banryu and slashed back a bankostu and tried to kick bankotsu's feet out from under him "Nice toothpic lemmie show you what mine can do." Noli flipped his blade in his hand as it started to glimmer with a black smoke "DURGE OF DARKNESS!" noli yelled as grea black barreling flame's flew out of fenrir and twoards bankotsu.

Bankotsu stumbled backwards but only for a moment. As the ball of black flame came towards him, the young man smirked. "InuYasha tried that once..." With a slash from Banryu, the flame was deflected. Bankotsu slung his right arm backwards (the arm holding the halberd) and back forward for extra strength. The halberd spun in his hand like crazed windmill. He struck at Noli's midsection and had an unexpected left hook waiting if the manuever should fail.

The kick hit noli full in the gut.....at least it hit the clone's gut. as soon as bankotsu's blow landed the forrest clone popped into a cloud of green smoke. While the real noli was behind bankotsu, noli hit him upside the head with his the hilt of his sword then kicked him square in the spine. "Doge that." noli said with satifaction.

Bankotsu winced in pain as the final blow struck his spine. He staggered forward in pain but soon recovered. What is he? Some kind of damn ninja?! He quickly turned to face the man with Banryu raised high. "You sneaky bastard...try cloning yourself this time! Ryuuraisen!" Bolts of thunder hailed from the sky. Two struck at the man but not with fatal intent, rather to bring him to his knees. This dark figure of a man interested him...
