(ok since no one has said anything about my ap i'm assuming i'm free to re now)

Tauschung sat on the tree where rumors of once a half demon alike himself had been suck to this tree. he had not aged a day since his imprissement to this spot.
But when Tauschung got here, this 'Inuyasha' as they called him was gone.
He sat silently wondering about this other half demon.
Wonder if he had to hide like I do all the time? Tauschung wondered to himself. He was tirded of hiding, tiring of faking himself when he met others. wishing he was either a full demon free to terroise anyone, or a full human...free to chat with other humans and not fear to be feared or killed or experimented on.

HUgging his knees sitting on one of the large roots of the tree. his ears pricked up as he heard to noise of voices. he stared up golden eyes searching the tree in wonder of who might be coming.

[Aiko]

[pink]“Mushrooms, mushrooms, mushy-smushy-mushrooms!”[/pink] sang a childish voice. [pink]“Oh, mushy-rooms! Where are you, mushrooms?”[/pink] The voice drifted between the tree trunks, calling for mushrooms. Its owner was wandering around in the forest, her eyes downcast and narrowed in a very serious way as she searched for her favorite food. Mushrooms really had grown on her, after all the times she’d eaten them.

She looked up, revealing large brown eyes that looked like they belonged to someone who was younger than the fourteen years Aiko was. She was small-framed, too, and womanhood was just beginning to leave its mark on her body. Her hair was now past her shoulders, and caked with dirt, as it usually was. She didn’t smell overly pleasant, either, but that’s what you got when you didn’t exactly have a family taking care of you, when you were only a servant for a very powerful demon lady who you were always getting separated from by accident.

As the girl looked up, she realized that she was in a clearing. In another moment, the clearing sparked a memory. Hey! Wasn’t this where she met that demon man? Oh, what was his name? Distracted from her mushroom hunting, Aiko sat cross-legged in her boy’s clothes, staring very hard at the root directly ahead of her as she tried to remember. [pink]“Tortuga… Tanata… Taushada…”[/pink] She tried out the feel of different names, but none of them seemed familiar. [pink]“Tatu… tata… Tatatatabingbing!”[/pink] Aiko giggled at her latest made-up word.

Tauschung hide croutching up on a tree branch looking downwards, his wings out and ready.
please don't spot me, please, oh please, oh please!!!
He thought watching frozen...not frightened just worried.He knew from a long time ago, he was not accepte into this wrold, maybe a few hundred years ago when demons and half demons like himself where more common he might be accepted by others...but no he wasn't so this was his life in hiding,

“Oh, mushy-rooms! Where are you, mushrooms?”
Tauschung blinked and shook his head, This female, he wans't sure of her age from up here, could only see her longish hair...it was shiny and lovely smelling from up here.


. “Tortuga… Tanata… Taushada…” . “Tatu… tata… Tatatatabingbing!”
Hearing those words he jump up suprsied, he thought she was speaking up at him. but she see,ed more to be speaking to herself. he went stiff again frightened she might of heard him from his moments, Tauchung thought it might be wise to fly away now...but he didn't move.

There was a sound that came from above Aiko’s head, from somewhere in the boughs of the huge tree. Of course, there were lots of sounds in the forest. There was the constant rustle of underbrush as little creatures moved through it, the shimmying shake of the leaves in the forest canopy as wind brushed them. Twittering birds added a cacophony of sound, all of which melted into the background of a typical forest soundtrack. Aiko assumed that the creaking noises of a disturbed tree branch was caused by a large bird or something. But Aiko was the kind of girl who, despite her age, chased frogs for fun. Of course she was going to tilt her head back, looking for the birdie.

But there was no birdie for the girl to see. There was, however, what seemed to be a man with light-colored hair, with a long and lean build, and with the most unusual addition to his appearance: wings.

In a sense, maybe it was the bird Aiko had been expecting.

The girl scrambled to her feet, her light brown eyes widening a little and her eyebrows shooting up as she saw the man. [pink]“Oh, um, hello!”[/pink] she called up, not meaning to be rude. Her mouth had been opened a little, as if in surprise, so she pressed her lips shut. Quickly, even though the man was up in a tree, Aiko bowed, trying to be polite. It was a little awkward to disturb someone when they were up in a tree! Goodness, she hadn’t even noticed him at all until she heard that noise! Straightening out of her bow, Aiko returned her bright-eyed gaze to the man.

[pink]“My name is Aiko,”[/pink] she told him, and, clasping her hands behind her back, waited for him to introduce himself, if he so chose.

The girl below had sort of frozen and listened to his noise making, then she did the thing he was most horrified, slowly trowed her head back so he could see her face.
He grasped at how younge she seemed, starting the age of muturity...but something he had noticed about her, something he envies...is the clearness of her freedom. to show herself and be herself to the world unlike himself.

“Oh, um, hello!” The girl called up, He was suprsied when she bowed. he was frozen stiff, not good not good! he thought scremaing in his mind. fly aasy! he thought...what if she had a camera? he noted her soft brown eyes where wide and staring at his wings. the only thing about him adnormal and yet it was the only thing people wanted to note about him.

“My name is Aiko,”
Tauschung stared at her silently he opened his mouth slowly.
"A.aaa..iii..ee..kk...ooooo" he repeated slowly, he didn't speack often so when he did his voice was hoase but still smooth and col like marble.

The man seemed to be taking a long time to get to saying anything at all! Did he not want to talk to her? The thought made Aiko’s smile falter, and she considered just walking away, back into the forest. Just as she was wondering how quickly she could back out without bothering the man further, she saw him open his mouth, and she looked up at him intently as sounds began to come out of his mouth.

The girl waited a moment, to see if the man was going to say something else. When it was obvious that he wasn’t going to, she broke into a grin. [pink] “Ha ha!”[/pink] She laughed, a cheerful, easy sound, like the twittering song of the birds that were all around the forest. [pink]“That’s my name!”[/pink] she told the winged man, smiling broadly up at him. He was so silly! And she was silly, too. Of course her name was Aiko! She’d just told him that, and she laughed again, hugging herself around the middle as she doubled over in a fit of giggles.

When the laughter subsided, Aiko managed to straighten up, but a wide grin was still spread across her small face. She peered up at the funny man, her arms still crossed in front of her. [pink]“Is your name Aiko, too? But that’s silly! Aiko’s a girl’s name!”[/pink] This just sent the little human into another laughing spell, and still hugging herself, she found it necessary to sit down until she could get control of herself again. Finally, still sitting on the ground, she managed to look up at the winged man again.

[pink]“I’m sorry,”[/pink] she apologized. [pink]“I talk too much. And I laugh too much, too. But you have a name, too, don’t you? Won’t you tell me?”[/pink] As she was speaking, Aiko was picking herself up from the ground, brushing off the dusty back of her pants. She blinked and sneezed as little bits of dust got in her nose. [pink]And somewhere, somebody’s talking about me, too![/pink] she thought. [pink]I hope it’s something good.[/pink]

“Ha ha!”
Tauschung blinked at her laughing, it was so smooth and care free, he couldn't help but feel the twisted note of envy grow in him.

“That’s my name!”
Tauschung remained solid still eyes focused on her, she didnt seem to have any camera or things on her.

“Is your name Aiko, too? But that’s silly! Aiko’s a girl’s name!”
The side of his mouth tilted up wards as she giggled and played around.

“I’m sorry,” “I talk too much. And I laugh too much, too. But you have a name, too, don’t you? Won’t you tell me?”
He gave in, she dind't seem a threat, he sat on the long brankch watching her,"Tauschung." he whispered, queit the opposite of her.
"My name is Tauschung." he tried to relax and gave her a charming grin.

Aiko could barely hear the man as he made his reply, but she watched him as he settled himself down on the branch. [pink] “Tao… Tao… Taoshin? Taoshun?”[/pink] she tried, not sure whether or not she’d heard him say his name correctly. He had spoken so softly, and he was sitting so far above her, that the girl’s ordinary human ears couldn’t tell what he was saying. Aiko approached the tree, clamoring clumsily up the tangled roots as she tried to get higher, to get closer to this strange, soft-spoken winged man. Her foot slipped, but she managed to keep heading up. Finally, she was able to rest her hands against the rough bark on the tree’s trunk and support herself, but she had to tip her head back all the way to look up at the man. [pink]“I’m sorry,” [/pink]she apologized. [pink] “I can’t hear you very well.”[/pink] She felt it was her own fault, of course. [pink]“Can you say that again?”[/pink]

“Tao… Tao… Taoshin? Taoshun?”

Tauschung flushed, had this girl not heard him right? he caught that on quickly as she struggle to come up closer to him, he moved away startled, like a bird. fast movments would send him flying off forever!


“I’m sorry,” “I can’t hear you very well.” “Can you say that again?”
Tauschung jumped up and flew downwards. he landed on the grass but kept his distance form her,
"My name is Tauschung Hitsugaya." he said a little more confident.

[Aiko]

Oh… he jumped down. There was apparently not much of a point for Aiko to have been climbing the roots, after all. She turned around to face him where he had jumped onto the grass, though she still kept one of her small hands on the tree trunk, just so she had that much less of a chance of falling down. But now that he was closer, and speaking louder, Aiko could hear what the winged man was saying. [pink]“Oh! Tauschung!”[/pink] Aiko repeated. It was still an unusual name; it had an awkward feeling in her mouth. But she could at least say it now. She giggled and grinned at the man. [pink]“Please to meet you, Tauschung!”[/pink] She dipped her head, fearing that if she went into a full bow, she would go tumbling off the roots.

Speaking of which, she didn’t feel sturdy, standing on the knobby, high-reaching roots. She didn’t feel sturdy at all. Afraid she was going to fall down at any moment, and hit her head or something else that she normally did, Aiko slowly eased down until she was sitting on the root. She looked across the knotted expanse, surprised she’d made it as far as she had. Getting back was going to be a challenge, she could see, so she elected to stay sitting there for the time being. Looking up, she smiled pleasantly at Tauschung.

[pink]“Whatcha doing here?” [/pink]she asked, curious as always. Then, with a sheepish little look, she ducked her head apologetically. [pink] “If you don’t mind telling, of course.”[/pink]

“Oh! Tauschung!”
“Please to meet you, Tauschung!”
As she dipped her head, she jumpedand took two large stepps back. his charming grin slid right off his face, he lowered in the grass wings largly spread out ready for take off, but she only bows a little and Tauschung calmed down. his tiny heart slowed down from beating.

“Whatcha doing here?” . “If you don’t mind telling, of course.”
Tauschung stared at her silently, he was trying to gather his confidence,
Whats wrong with me! all i ever wanted was a friend to be with people...and now i'm face to face with one and i'm...i'm scared!
His eyes flickered as if trying to find more ways to run other then the sky, they went back to the girl unsurely.
"Just wandering." he told her,"and yourself." he forced himself to be more condient and stopped coruching on the ground, standing up strighter.

[ooc: You do know that Aiko is sitting down on the tree roots, right?]

Aiko continued to smile pleasantly, even while the bird-man seemed to act all nervous. She hoped that if she kept looking happy, maybe he’d start to be happy, too. Sitting on the large, knobby root that made an almost perfect seat, the girl swung her legs over the sides so that she could be more comfortable, so she ended up straddling the root, leaning slightly forward, in Tauschung’s direction. When he started to straighten, as if he was stopping being so nervous, Aiko grinned a little wider, trying to be encouraging.

Still, he grin faltered a little when he unexpectedly asked her a question back. Aiko settled back a little bit, biting her lower lip and scrunching her eyebrows in thought. What was she doing here, anyway? What had she been doing before she met Tauschung? She closed her eyes, retracing her progress in her mind’s eye, and after a moment, her bright brown eyes snapped open and she smiled again. [pink]“Mushrooms!”[/pink] she said, sounding triumphant and giddily happy. [pink]“I was trying to find mushrooms, ‘cause I’m hungry.”[/pink] Her belly rumbled, agreeing with her statement, and she subconsciously gripped her midsection with one hand. [pink]“And then I was gonna try and find Kardowin-sama, ‘cause I got lost from her again.”[/pink] At this, Aiko frowned thoughtfully. She got lost an awful lot, now that she thought about it.

His weary eyes watched her as she sat down on the large root, she was so younge. maybe just reaching her teen years..Tauschung was smakebang in the middle of them, didn't make much of a difference through, his mind was still learning new things everyday. and unlike Humans he dind't attend school, nor did he work much. Life was all just hiding and flying.

“Mushrooms!”
He flinched back at her loud voice,
“I was trying to find mushrooms, ‘cause I’m hungry.”
“And then I was gonna try and find Kardowin-sama, ‘cause I got lost from her again.”

Tauschung paused with interest,"is this other...a relitive of yours?" he asked.
