Ultima sat down in the tree, she rested her head agianst the branch of the large tree, she sighed and looked at the sky. "Jeeze what do i do now?" she asked herself. She looked down at her neck and pulled up her necklace. "Stuiped jewel," she said thinking of throwing it away, "it hasnt done anything for me yet!" Ultima began to feel tired, she slowly closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

A wicked gleam shone in the eyes of the little demoness as she watched the hanyou in the tree. How long had she been searching for just one shard of the Shikon no Tama? Too long. Why should a lowly halfbreed deserve such a powerful object, when she, a youkai 'princess' of the Northern Yourouzoku had searched so fruitlessly for more than a year? Not that she was really considered of royal blood by anyone anymore. Nor was she really from the beginning. Her father was only an alpha because he, being the backstabbing bastard that he was, had murdered the previous one. But she left them behind anyway. Pack life wasn't for her-- certainly not that pack. She wasn't weak like the others. She didn't need anyone else to help defend her. Or so she thought. Grinning a predatory fanged grin, she made her way carefully through the underbrush to the tree where the hanyou was drifting off. Tzuki had stayed downwind of her for the time she had been stalking her, and apparently her aura hadn't been picked up on either. But now she knew she was right about what precious stone exactly was on the necklace... Wolves weren't climbers by nature, but but jumping into the lower branches of a neighboring tree took almost no effort at all-- and there was no sense leaping straight up at the girl and allowing the vibrations from her landing to wake her up. Rather, she instead got as close as she could from the other arbor before gently stepping onto the branch above the sleeping hanyou. Now all she had to do was keep her balance long enough to lean over... And when you grew up running on ice, balance wasn't really a problem. [/ul][/blockquote]

? Why ever would she waste precious moments of her own immortal life for the sake of some worthless, half-bred scum? She couldn't even figure out what the demon half of her was. "I am no common thief, hanyou. But I am no friend of yours either, and I need no help from half-breed dirt such as yourself. Nor will I waste my time helping you-- for I fear you time is about to be cut rather short."Her voice was more purr than growl, honey with hidden venom. Her white fangs glinted in the weak forest light as the little yourouzoku grinned down at the half demon still sitting on the branch below her. "Now, I think it would be in both of our best interests for you to hand the shikon shard to me now, mkay?"[/ul][/blockquote]

Ultima looked at her strangely then sighed. Ever since she was little she always found pure breed demons being up themselves but this one was just just just, plain stuiped. Ultima smiled and stood up, she loved to scare reguler people by this next trick but knew it would not work on a pure breed. She placed a leaf on her head and disapeared and in her place a very convinsing undead.
"Behold the true power of the all mighty Ultima!" She shouted with a laugh.
This secret ability had been passed through her familys blood for over 1000 centuries, or so thats what people had told her.
