Her steps were staggering as the girl pushed, strive, and forced herself to keep walking as the dazzling crimson liquid oozed from an open gash struck directly on her exposed hip. That daggar; the daggar that caused all of this. How? Why? The girl would continue to ask herself; her fears haunting her, but she will never be able to escape. It was as if she were shackled to an unforgiving greed of red
Her embedded amythyst pools locked a dull eye contact with a meadow appearing in the distance. She could feel the peaceful breeze gasp past her ears, whispering and chanting. Mai continued to head towards what she found was Nirvana. Her meaning in life... it seemed to appear before her eyes. How could such a place make her want to actually live? Take part in this cruel world? This was a true miracle of God.
Locks of a pale orange swam in the pattern of the wind, as the lone figure continued to stumble towards the meadow. The fight before, that stupid demon, is no more. That daggar helped annhialate the helpless, heartless creature. A smirk slithered across Mai's calm expression as she took a step within the dancing flowers. Her smirk stretching to a smile, Mai stood up-right and released her clutch over the wound. "There seems to be herbs here..." She spoke acknowledged over healing items. "I will act right away--" Once she spoke her last word a pang shot through her veins as it concluded in Mai tumbling over and laying on the grass beneath her.
It was a shame that that red liquid had to stain the peaceful scenery...
Mai's dull expression shook as she struggled to stay awake. Even when killing off the demon that had hurt her, she still got injured in the process. Mai clad in the outfit that she wore out in the prowl. Her dusk colored muffler had slipped and exposed a glance of her pale pink lips, that were trembling, and her black tube-top was clinging tightly to her chest as it rise and fell to her breathing pattern. Her hip was bleeding, and it seem to stop, but the pain was still there. Please.. let there be someone... Mai thought before lazily closing her eyes.

((May I join you?))
That scent. Salty, tangy...and just plain...icky! It sliced through her reverie as if it was nothing more then thin paper. The young girl had been minding her own business. Large doe-like orbs closed as she ate and nibbled on the tall grass around her. Black nose quivering for the scent of enemies, or predators. The only scent that had come to her besides the earthern plants was that...blood. She felt sick immediately, her rounded ears instantly drooping as she changed from being in bliss, to being nausious.
Blood...who's blood was that? The young red head didn't want to look. She wanted to just stay crouched and hidden behind the greenery, shaded in with her brown fur which covered her body. Slowly she brought her hands on the ground, hoof-like fingers digging into the earth as she turned her crouched body to see if she could get a look of where the scent was coming from, without being spotted. Oh how horrible it was to be here alone.
Of course, she had wandered away from the leader of the group. It was just her, a deer demon, and the wolf demon Koga-sama. She had walked off to search for food for herself. She couldn't stay with Koga-sama in case he was getting foor for himself too. She couldn't stand meet, and was much of a vegetarian as her animal counter part.
Gulping down her fear, the deer slowly brought herself up from the ground, once she was standing she hesitantly looked around at her surroundings at the meadow. She hated meadows because they were so open. That was why she was extra careful. She saw a figure lying on the ground from the corner of her brown orbs. A startled gasp escaped her as she saw it was wounded. Without thinking she rushed forward, jumping over the tall grass and landing by the wounded woman's side.
Realizing how close she was to the stranger she jumped back and ran until she was a few feet away, out of arm's reach. She didn't want to have the woman suddenly wake up and grab her. The young shika took in the woman's wound, her worry for the person's well-being defeated her fear and she quickly searched the meadow. Frantically grabbing at herbs that she recognized in which could help.
Grabbing everything in a hurry, she placed them at the girl's side and started to look around for water. The young shika didn't know much about healing, but she had learned enough when she had gotten wounded last time. She hoped Koga-sama didn't get impatient with her absence.
