Once on a New Moon Wolf and Girl
Strong winds arose in the forest tonight, causing the trees to blow wildly. A storm perhaps? She didn't know. This was because on this one night she was completely powerless. Her nails had grown short and rounded and her senses were weakened dramatically. She was a half demon meaning tonight was her weakest point. She lost her powers over fire for a night of being a weak teen mortal. She gazed up at the night, moonless sky and sighed heavily. What was worse was that Kyy was missing. Normally she was with her all night on this day, but she seemed to have her own selfish ideas of what to do this time.
She tried to stay calm, but it was difficult when she was so bad at hand to hand combat. She had relied so much on her powers that she was beginning to grow physically weak, which was bad in her case. She wasn't entirely sure where her other traveling companions were right now, but she hoped to run into them. She sat down against the tree where they had been reunited a short while ago. How easily they had gotten separated already. Still, that day still made her wonder. She looked back at her memories of that day and sighed. She was so happy to see him that day, why was that? She hadn't known him that long and yet she already felt so close to him. Well, there wasn't time to ponder on that for too long now, she was completely alone and human for the night. The wind howled.
She could barely see anything in front of her. Normally, she could see at least a little on even the darkest night because her eye sight was a bit better than a humans. But still, even then there was some moonlight. What was she to do? Guess all she could do was hope to run into her traveling companions, and cross her fingers that she wouldn't run into any unwelcoming demons.

Enter Akira... A small breeze surrounded her thin farme, blowing against her kimono gently. A small smile appeared on her slightly parted lips, her hands playing around with the wind surrounding her. It weaved in and out of her parted fingers, like it always did. She gave a small sigh and looked up at the pitch black sky. Her violet eyes caught small glimmers of the stars. It was a beautiful clear night. She didn't mind the darkness. It was almost comforting to her, because everything she was made up, came from the darkness.
Her dark black hair flowed easily in the breeze. The wind whispered gently in her ear as she wondered through the forest. The wind was her soul companion. She had recently found a traveling company, and both had promised eachothers aid in eachother's quests, but they were just getting to know eachother. The wind knew everything about her, as did she for the wind. It comforted her, made her happy when she was sad,, aided her, kept her company, everything.
She reached a parting in the trees and spotted a human girl. She seemed a bit on edge, scared perhaps. Akira hoped she wasn't intruding. She quickly hid behind the nearest tree, glancing past it and examining the girl. She didn't seem like a threat, for she was just a mere human, but certain humans could be dangerous as well. Who was she?

Once on a New Moon Wolf and Girl
The girl looked around still, looking frantically for a way out. But something caught her eye. A girl? She couldn't tell if it was a human or demon, she glared at her and spoke. "Who are you?!" she demanded, her temper was getting the better of her personality, like always. Suddenly, she heard something running towards her, It was Kyy! Finally! Now she felt more relaxed. She walked up to the girl, whom she could barely see, and stopped about 5 feet away from her. Kyy looked at the girl, she didn't seem to really think she was much of a threat, but Kayka never really trusted people that easily, especially on these nights.((sorry for the shortness!))

A small sigh escaped her petite body as she was spotted. Her wind swirled about her a bit more franctically. She stepped out of hiding and into the moonlight, her black hair glistening with it. "My name is Akira," She said cooly. "An whom might you be?" She asked, shooting the question back at her. She raised a brow, seeing another girl appear next to the girl who spoke. 'Who's she?' Akira though to herself.
She crossed her arms loosely in front of her chest, as she awaited the girl's response. She began taking advantage of the spare time to examine the girl. She had quite the temper at the moment. What was her problem? Maybe it was Akira's presence, that seemed to unsettle her so. Akira could understand, for she never trusted a demon who she had just met, or seen for that matter. Though Akira wasn't a full, a halfbreed could sometimes be just as dangerous.

Once on a New Moon Wolf and Girl
Kyy blinked, her soft black pelt made her barely noticeable in the dark, moonless skies except for her silvery eyes. She sat down beside her partner, her tongue hung out of her maw as she panted exhaustedly. After all, she'd ran quite a long ways to find her. The wolf blinked in curiosity at the girl, then to her partner.
She sneered at the girl, "Kayka, and my wolf Kyy." she spat at her. She wasn't the nicest person in the world, but that was mostly just her cover. She didn't want to act weak, because she knew she wasn't, well, maybe she was now, but it wouldn't last much longer now anyways, lucky her. Her liked being a half demon, except on those damn new moons. They zapped her strength right out of her. Kayka glared at the girl in front of her, and knowing Kayka, there would probably be a little argument or fight. It wasn't like she liked fighting so much she start it with anyone, it was just that her attitude was so poor that it angered all around her.

{ooc: ack, wolf not girl, sry! lol} Her violet eyes wandered to the wolf, a small smile on her face. She loved wolves. They were also one of the types of animals she could communicate with. She looked up as she heard the harsh words being spat out by the girll. She creased a brow, and tilted her head slightly, examining the girl through slightly squinted eyes, almost glaring at her for her rudeness. "I would say nice to meet you, but then I'd be lying," She shot back, rather annoyed. Her personality was kind and sweet. She always tried to be friendly with people. But such people like Kayka always got on her last nerve at times.
She sighed and shook her head. Whatever, the girl could treat her however she wanted, there was nothing Akira could do to stop her. She continued to look around, wondering what type of snide remark the girl would shoot back at her. Personally, she really didn't care. She had a feeling she should've kept her mouth shut, but at the moment, she was rather tired, Her 18th birthday was coming up, and her body was beginning to be exhausted with all the changes beginning to take place in her body. She really didn't need the girl attitude. She bit her lip and looked at the gir once more. This was a sure 'pleasant' meeting.

((lol, that's okay!)) Kyy blinked as Kayka rudely introduced herself. The usual. She wasn't normally like this, but you know, she had to give herself a 'good name' and all. Kyy shook her head slowly, almost in a disappointed look. She nudged her companion with her muzzle, telling her she should knock it off.
Kayka was about to say something more, but Kyy grabbed her pant leg, stopping her from doing any more. "Hmph." She mumbled. Kayka turned her head away and folded her arms. Her eyes slowly went to the sky though, it was getting lighter out now, and soon she would be her normal self once again. "The night's just about over, Kyy." she whispered to her wolf friend.

She watched Kayka with a smirk, surprised she didn't go ahead and say something rude back. She sighed and shook her head. Her violet eyes flickered toward the sky as she watched dawn slowly draw closer. She looked toward the girl and wolf. She would leave them be, but there was now ay she was just going to leave. this was one of her favorite spots to watch the sunset.
She raised a hand beckoning the wind to come to her. She made a circular motion with her hand, making the wind fly beneath her and pick her up gently. She directed it toward the upper tree branch above her. It set her down on the branch gently, and Akira moved around alittle, finding a comfy spot. She turned her delicate body slightly, leaning back onto the firm tree. She sighed quietly and let her body relax, knowly greatly of how much rest her body needed. Her violet looked to the horizon, waiting for the sun to appear behind the montains.

Kyy nodded to Kayka and gazed up at the now purple colored sky. It was beautiful, she wondered if Kayka thought so too. She gazed at the fading stars until the weight of looking up began to hurt her neck. Her glossy black pelt began to shine with a blue-ish tint. She took her gaze to the mountains where the sun would soon be rising. Her silver eyes closed for a second to re-wet her eyes again. The trees around them blew a little, possibly because of Akira's wind, but the wolf was unsure. She was only happy that this night was nearly over and that they could soon return to their other companions. As the sun fully raised up, the forest around them grew light again, a few birds began their morning songs and other creatures of they day and dawn were awakening to see the suns first rays of the day. Kyy wagged her tail happily and looked to her companion, who also seemed joyed to see the sun back up.
Kayka watched as the sun rose up over the mountains and a small grin popped over her face. She reached her hand in front of her, holding it out as if to receive a gift, and spoke. "Alas, this cursed night is over." she seemed relieved, and slightly happy, even. She focus her eyes into the palms of her hand to be sure what was lost in the night of the new moon was back. Sure enough, a small fire started in the palm of her hand. She grinned and clenched her fists, putting out the fire in her palm.

She watched as the sky began to change from one color to the next. It began with black, then drifted to purple. It faded into pink, and kept chaning until arose the bright sun. She heard the girl's voice below her and glanced down. She rose a brow. The girl now had a demonic aura. She spotted a flame held in the palm of the girl's hand. 'What on earth?' She thought to herself, slightly confused. Was the girl a hanyou?
She gave a small sigh, wishing to stay this relaxed forever. Sadly, that would never happen, for the next moment, her hand was raised beckoning the wind once more. Just like it had done before, it picked her up and carefully drifted her down to the ground. She allowed it to weave between her fingers for a moment, as she eyed it with care. With another sigh, she waved it off and fixed her violet eyes on the girl. "Well you sure seemed to be in a bit of a better mood now," Akira stated, feeling the same. She watched the girl curiously, wondering what she was. "If I may, are you a hanyou?" She askedgently, looking to the girl. She knew that could be a sensitive question for certain demons. She hoped the girl wouldn't mind her question, for she was a hanyou herself.
Unlike many demon who changed to a human on a new moon, she changed on a full moon. Though to her advantage, no one ever knew, because she was almost always in human form anyways. There really was no difference, besides that her demon blood and powers were taken away from her for a night. So far she hadn't had any trouble with it, because no one knew, and that's how she hoped to keep it for as long as she could.

She wasn't all that interested in the sun raise one bit, Kyy on the other hand was mesmerized by it. She watched the changing colors and seemed to almost have a smile on her face.
Kayka looked back behind her as she heard Akira coming down from the tree. She listened to her speak, without interrupting. She was in a better mood now that her powers were back, though, it also meant she'd probably be a bit more troublesome than before because she could start a fight if she was angered enough.
However, since it was early she decided to be a bit more polite to the girl, seeming her intentions seemed to be good ones. "Hmph. Yeah, I'm a hanyou, what's it to you?" she responded. It wasn't the nicest reply, but she didn't snap at the girl ether. At least she wasn't trying to start a fight anymore, which in her case was a bit of an improvement.

Akira gave a small sigh. Her mood may have been a bit different, tho her tone was just about the same, even tho Akira was attempting to be friendly with the girl. "Just out of curoisity," She replied innocently. 'Ah, so she is like me...' she thought glancing at the girl. She looked down at the wolf and smiled. She seemed to be in the same mood as herself, amazed at the change in colors of the sky. Probably another reason she got along well with wolf, not just because she could comunicate with them.
She folded her hands together, which were now hidden by the sleeves of her red kkimono. Her eyes squinted slightly as she looked to the sky. 'Another day closer,' she thought thinking to herself. Her borthday was just around the corner now, and it slightly scared her. As each day went by, her anticipation slackened. She wasn't so sure she was ready to move on to her next stage. She had just gotten used to her powers now, and the possibility of loosing them scared as well as knowing she would be gaining new.
Snapping out of her thoughts she gave Kayka her full attention now, not knowing what the girl would do now that she had her powers back. She could prove to be even more troublesome than the night just a while ago.

Kayka looked up at the sky, she thought it was very beautiful, but her tough girl act wouldn't allow such things to be said, at least not around most. There were a few exceptions for this. Such as Kyy, and her best friend, Kriss as well as her new companions. There was one other, though they didn't talk much. They were similar in a way, especially in their names. Her name was Kayko, they were from the same village, they were even both half demons. However they rarely spoke.
Her mind turned to her new companions, wondering what they were doing right now. Who knew, but he mind didn't stay there for long, she whipped around to face the girl behind her, for no obvious reasons though. "Hmph, why would you have to ask, can't you just tell?" she said, a little rudely. "Like you, you're a half demon, too. I can smell it." She was back to her 'unusual' self again. The cover-up self she'd made up to hide her weaknesses. To hide her pain.

Due to her exhaustion, her senses had weakened slightly. She could tell from intinct she was a hanyou, but by smell, not so much. She gave a small sigh. Man this girl was like a roller coaster. She seemed all calm and quiet one moment, then she seemed to place a msk upon her face, trying to hide something, but what?
"Yes I can, and Yes I am. Pardon me, for attempting a conversation," She replied, her annoyance beginning to return. This really didn't seem worth it. Maybe she should just leave and let the girl be. The last thing she wanted to do right now was gain an enemy and start a fight. Her body couldn't handle it like it normally did. It wasn't that she couldn't, but her body and powers would be slightly altered thanks to her on cooming birthday. She gazed at the girl. What was her problem? Why was she trying so hard not to let the mask down?

Kayka rolled her eyes, though she was facing the other way and Akira was unlikely to have noticed. She crossed her arms and sighed lightly. "I'd best be heading back." she said, astonishingly in a very unrude way. Perhaps she got sick of acting tough for the day, then again she may have just been too lazy to say anything more. She started to walk away, Kyy by her side, "See ya." she said as she walked on. Unless the girl had more to say, she was pretty beat, not having slept all night.
