Since the meeting of Ben Noli- Ayame had nothing on her mind except finding Kouga. Her travels had brought her to the Forest of InuYasha.

That mutt.

She murmured to herself as she came to the clearing- a single tree in sight. She paused at it, running her hand along the whole that Kikyo's arrow had once been in-betted to hold the half demon.

She had heard rumors of this Kikyo but had never actually layed eyes on her. She's not exactly sure she'd want to for she was cautioned by her power. She continued on her way through the thick vegitation- head jerking to the rustling of nearby bushes. A large centipede emerged and lunged at Ayame who dodged with ease. She pulled back her right arm containing the shard and came down with a powerful punch......

Atleast- thats what she expected to happen........

She came down, striking the centipede and yelping as she landed, holding her fist. She felt no power in her arm and saw no damage inflicted upon her opponent.

He conned me! Oh when I get my hands on him....

She dodged yet another blow, sending a flock of leaves at the demon.

The centipede shrieked but would not give up so easily. A thwack of it's body gave unsuspecting Ayame a hard blow-knocking her into a tree.

Oh- my head.

She whined, putting a hand to her forehead and pulling it away to find it covered in the awful red liquid.

Your gonna pay for that!

She regained her footing, pulling the Iris from her red hair she ran swiftly towards her victim and drew her arm back, letting the stem of the Iris pierce the centipede. Her attack was followed by a blood-curdling screech.

The demon seemed to shatter into millions and millions of small pieces......

You're gonna regret this!

She growled-

No longer persisting the same goal as before.

Ayame and the centipede were making enough of a ruckus that they could probably have awakened someone sleeping on the mainland. It was enough to interrupt Koga in his newfound pastime of brooding. The thoughts preceding the sounds of a fight coming from farther away in the forest went a little something like this: That idiot. I can’t figure her out, she’s always carrying on with all of these apologies and such. Also: Well? Does she hate me or not? And, in conclusion: Bah, females are just stupid.

Of course, shortly after this conclusion, Koga had to cease his preoccupied pacing because of those thumps and screeches that seemed strangely familiar. “What now?” the demon muttered in exasperation, but nevertheless took off, his shard-empowered feet carrying him quickly towards the sounds of a struggle. Weave around these trees, hop over this ditch, duck under these low-hanging branches, and he was nearly there when that mind-splitting wail that rendered his ears practically useless pierced the other sounds of battle.

Skidding to a halt behind a tree, Koga clasped his hands over his ringing ears. Damn whatever made that noise, he thought, gritting his teeth and squeezing his eyes shut. If it’s still alive, I’m gonna kill it. But for once, common sense ruled over the impulse to rush out from behind the shelter of a thick trunk, and he listened. He heard nothing, except for the tiniest remaining echo of that banshee-screech, and he figured it was at least safe to have a look around, figure out where that wailing monstrosity was so he could kill it, and he stepped out partially into a clearing.

Oh no, he groaned inwardly. Not now.

He was not in the mood to deal with the certain wolf demon who was tromping around in the clearing. No, not right then, he didn’t want to hear her rants about the promise he had made so long ago that he only had the vaguest notion of, didn’t want to have to cope with the lovesick. He had other things to deal with, like the deer demon who kept tagging along with him for reasons he’d forgotten.

Just back away, very slowly, his thoughts said, and he stepped slowly out of the light.

Noli ran through the tree's as fast as his four jewel shards could carry him.....witch wasent fast enough appaently bucause he heard sounds of battle very near by....to near by for comfort...sure noli wanted to get ayame and kouga together but noli also wanted to get out of this with his skin intact...so he reverted his course a little...witch proved to be a mistake for he ran right into kouga who smashed into a tree blowing them both to the ground in front of ayame. Noli managed to cough a little chucle "Long time no see 'scrawny wolf'."
