Kriss watched their surroundings as she and Noli sped through the forest to the village. She didn't have to hold onto him quite as tightly as she had when they were being attacked by the thorn demons the days before. Her headache was nearly gone now and she was beginning to enjoy feeling the wind on her face. She looked further ahead of them and seen what looked to be a village.
'This must be it.' she thought to herself, 'The Slayer's Village...' Kriss smiled and spoke. So, is that it, Noli? she asked, just making sure. She guessed that it would be well hidden and wasn't really positive if that was the place. After all, it didn't seem very hard to spot. Though, Noli was the one taking her there and he had obviously been there before. He grew up there, so she was told. She blinked her Silver eyes as they got closer, still awaiting his answer.

Noli jumped to the top of an oak tree and set kriss down on the branch next to him. "Look kriss....." Noli said as he pointed to the fortified ruined village "There's my village.....you might be the only demon who's seen it and lived to tell about....though i'd prefer you....not telling anyone about the location.....the village may be in ruin's...but many secrets lay inside...."

Kriss looked at the villages, though in ruins, she thought it was quite beautiful. "So, this is it, huh?" she asked as she sat down on the branch. She looked back at Noli as he spoke again, "No worries. My lips are sealed." she said with a grin. As she looked further into, she saw lines of graves, even some fresh flowers seemed to have been placed on them. "Wow, there's a ton of graves. That's sweet, giving their bodies a place to rest. I'm sure that their spirit's are very thankful to them." she said lightly. Kriss was always like that when it came to spirits and stuff. Maybe it was because she was a Spirit Slayer. Oh well, guess that it was a kind of good thing that she cared.

Noli picked up kriss again and jumped into the village and landed by the grave's "Kriss i have something personal to ask you......" Noli looked at what he thought to be sango's grave "Can you see if a certan freind of mine's spirit is at rest?" Noli knew it was a rather personal....and rather awkward request....he hoped she wouldent throw it in his face.

Kriss listened to his request and nodded, "Sure, I can try. Sango, right? You spoke about her a while back." she said. She looked among the graves to see if his friend, but didn't see her, anywhere. "Hm, I don't see her." she said, slightly confused. He said she had died, and yet, she saw no one called Sango there.

"What?" Noli asked as he ran over to sango's grave and started to uncover the dirt. When noli stopped he noticed the grave was empty.....infact there wasent a grave at all...it was just a mound of dirt.
Noli fell back on his bottom in disbelive...."Alive.......she's....alive..."

Kriss looked back as Noli ran towards the grave. She nodded, "So it would seem." she said. She was happy for him, finding out a childhood friend was still alive.

Kriss nodded a welcome and turned to look at the sky. "Whether she has or not, I'm sure she misses you." she said, she turned back to face him. "Well, anyways, what are we going to do now?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

"I dont know i.." Noli stopped talking as he jumped up and said "I sence....a demon......and a powerful one to.....its allready in the village." Noli sniffed the air carefully and unsheathed his demon sword from his back and said "No doubt about it........it's a panther demon."

Kriss looked over her shoulder, she had sensed it, too. "Yeah, I can feel it, too." she said as she reached for the hilt of her katana. She watched for it, wondering just where it would appear. "I wonder how it found this place, eh Noli?" she said as she prepared to fight.

Noli got back to back with kriss and said "Isent it obvoius....she followed us here....she's the one hunting you.....and i know its a female...becasue i smell perfume......"

Kriss gave a worried look. 'Someone who's after me...but..why would they want me? What's so special about me?' she unsheathed her katana and spoke, "Katico." It transformed into a large, see through sword made of diamond, the hardest mineral on earth. The sword pulsed as Kriss activated the jewel shard within it and the sword release a, pure, demonic aura around it. She glanced at Noli, "Why does it want...me?"

Noli almsot had a sinister grin on "Well.....she smell's a LOT like you i was hoping you would tell me." Noli said as he watched the surrounding's for movement.....any....movement...

Kriss blinked. "She does? I hadn't noticed.." her voice trailed off as she noticed something to the side of her. She turned her head slowly, and sure enough, a large panther demon stood not 10 feet away. She spun around to face it, putting her sword in front of her in a defensive/attack position.
"Well, I don't know who she or whatever it is, but it's not going to take me alive!" she said as she ran after it. She slashed her sword at it, but she couldn't tell yet if it hit. She looked back, she had gotten a bit of it, but just barely. It came after her and swung at her, placing a good sized gash on her left arm, which was lucky enough not her main fighting arm.
She grabbed her arm and jumped back, giving her some more room. Some blood leaked in between her fingers. 'Great, it got me..' she placed her sword in a total defensive position and waited for it's next attack, i it had one.
