She felt the warmth of his hand on hers and couldn't help but to smile. She was so happy that he survived the incident, that he was going to be okay. She sat down at the edge of the bed and waited for him to wake. She didn't care how long it took, she would wait until he awoke. She looked up at the celling, just thinking. Like about when they first met, it wasn't the perfect meeting, though at least she hadn't attacked him because right now, she would have never forgiven herself if she had.
And what about that woman; who was she? Why did she say she was her older sister? Was her life really filled with lies? With so much hatred? Or was she just trying to awake the demon within her? She didn't know, but she did care. If that woman was after her then Noli would possible in danger too. If there was one person, one being that she hated, it was her. Revenge was on her mind and she felt that she had to take it this time. There would be no backing down, not now, not ever. She had to dealt with, she couldn't be left alive. If she lived, then she would be forever hunted. Kriss looked down at Noli and whispered,
"She won't get away with hurting you, Noli. There's no way I can let her go." She clenched her hands tightly as she looked back at the ceiling. "But first things first. You need to heal." she was mostly talking to herself, as Noli was still asleep, but that didn't mean her words were worthless. It just meant to her, that they were all that more real.

Noli slowl breathed in and out.....and the dream noli had was of his past life....with the village.....with kohaku and kirara.....and sango......Then everything in his dream changed all he could see was fire...fire and death.....pepole were dieing....being killed by all sort's of demon's....some fought but were soon slayed .
Noli's body started to shake as he started sweating again and was muttering "Sango......kohaku.....im sorry.....im so....i failed......."
Noli was fightend out of his life when he saw kohaku fall and get speared by a spider demon. sango ran over to her fallen kin and got shot by a poker demon.
Noli ran over to sango's body and cradeled her head in his arm's. "take care of her." Noli heard sango say.....Who? noli thought. Who did sango want him to protect? Then all the fire,....the body's....all the pain dissapeard and all he saw was a face......kriss's face......."I will protect you....i wont faill again sango....so ill protect kriss..."

Kriss looked back at Noli as he muttered something, He seemed to be trembling, she got a cloth from her bag and wet it with some water and placed it on his head to keep him cool. She sat there, still waiting for him to wake.
((sorry for shortness again, I forgot what I was going to put x.x))

Noli woke up with a start and immedietly fell back on the bed from dizzyness. When noli's sight retuned he say kriss sitting by his bed. "What happend?"........"What time is it" Noli asked ...

Kriss looked behind her as she heard Noli, and immediately smile etched over her face as he awoke. She listened to his questions and answered them in a soft, gentle tone, "Remember, you were poisoned." she reminded him, "Oh, and it's a bit past dusk." she said.
"So, how do you feel?" she asked him, her face looked worried, but not so much as it did curious. She stood up from the side of her bed and sat down on the floor she crossed her arms on the bed and relaxed her head on them, her eyes watched Noli, waiting for his answer.

Noli swung his legs over the bed and said "I feel....a little strange.....and dizzy...Wait a sec!?!? it's dusk allready?" Noli ran to the door but collasped form a fresh wave of dizzyness "Dang." noli said "I HATE being a burden."

Kriss watched as he tried to run to the door, she walked over to him and helped him up by placing his arm around her shoulder, giving him some extra support., "I'm the one who's a burden, Noli." she said, softly. "After all you've done for me, this just barely counts as a payback." she tried to smile as she helped him to the door. She opened it to show him the night, or at least the beginning of it. The moon was out, surrounded in the glittering stars that almost seemed to be painted onto a purple and black hued background. Her eyes closed and a smile etched over her face as she turned to Noli,
"See?" she spoke, "Isn't it beautiful?" her eyes opened and she looked back up at the sky. She had completely forgotten about her own wound received from the woman, she hadn't even treated it, guess she was too worried about Noli to realize it. It burned a little, but she didn't seemed phased by it. She didn't want to ruin the night by Noli worrying about her, she'd rather it this way anyways.

Noli glanced up at the star's and just stared......"They are beautiful......tonight....more than any night before......" Noli looked at kriss's face and sighed "Kriss.....i feel....like i-" Noli stopped as he felt a trickle of blood on his neck. Noli quickly looked at kriss's arm and gasped. There were 2 large claw mark's on her arm.
Closeing his eyes so not to be phazed by the dizzyness he swung his arm under her legs and hoisted kriss up and set her on the bed. Ignoring his wozieness noli grabbed a small gourd with a cork in the top of it and a small rag and a bandage.
Noli quickly oncorked the gourd and puored some of the content's on her cut's. noli then cleaned the wounds with a wet rag and quickly tied a the bandage around the gashes makeing sure to be careful not to hurt her.
Noli finished and tied a knot on the bandage and inspected his work. Noli looked a kriss with a concerned look and asked her "Are you all right? You should have taken care of that sooner....any later and you might have gotten an infection."

Kriss listened to him speak as she looked out at the sky, a smile still on her face, though not for very long. As he stopped in the middle of his sentence and picked her up. She looked at him surprised, for a couple of reasons. One, that he was still not well, and two it had come as a complete surprise to her. As he set her on the bed, she knew he must have noticed her wound.
"Noli, it's not that big of a deal, really.." she said, though he didn't seem to care. She sighed as he treated her wound. She hopped to have kept it hidden, she knew that she couldn't hide it forever, but she didn't want him to worry about her so much. She sighed and tried to smile as he spoke
"I know...but..." he voice trailed off and what she had began to say she replaced with an, "I'm fine." she placed her hand on her lap and looked down at them, wondering what he would say next.

Noli looked at kriss and sighed "Thank you kriss if it was'nt for you i would be...."Noli trailed off as he thought about the posion....it shouldent have left him dizzy....in fact the pheniox blood should have left him feeling up and ready in a matter of minuet's....some thing was wrong with that.
Noli quicky reached under his bed and pulled out the chest that held all his most exoctic posion's and antidotes......the phenox blood....and all his other potion's were....gone....only a note rested in the chest.
Noli picked up the note and read it out loud "You may have cured the posion that came in my blood.....but my blood in you still remains......that's the thing about blood...you can distill it into posion's and what not......you cant change blood.....but it can sure change you.....enjoy the present...it will at the very least make you more presentable than a mere human."
Noli wondered what the note ment...he knew that the woman who bit him early was the one who wrote the note....Then it came to noli in a sudden shock.....the phenox blood...it cured the posion in the panther's blood.....but the panther blood still remained.
Noli quicly ran to the small mirrior he kept hung on his wall..noli's eyes...they started turning a greenish red and started to slant...sideway's.....Noli looked at his hand's fanticly and saw that his nail's....started growing....and growing sharper. Niku thought My blood and a demon's blood........dont tell me im a..... Noli fell to his knee's and screamed into the night "HALF DEMON!?!"

Kriss looked back up at him as he began to speak, but by the time her eyes met his face, he seemed to be worried about something. "What's wrong?" she asked him. She watched as he pulled out the chest that had once held the potions. As he opened it, she peered into it as well, noticing the note a look of worry covered her face as he read out loud.
"Her...blood?" she looked at him, noticing he did look a little different. It seemed he was still trying to figure it out, and was still wondering whether or not she was right. She watch him as he looked into a mirror. She heard him yell those two words and knew they'd both come to the same conclusion. She dug her nails into the edge of the bed,
'Why..?' "Why would she do this to you?!" she didn't know what to say after that. A half demon, a mix of both demon and human blood. Most were born with it, but in Noli's case, he seemed to be cursed with it.

Noli looked at his hands. "Either she....really hate's humans......or she want's me to break down.....to get me out of the way to get to you....." Noli said as he watched his hands the nails had stooped growing and he could see out into the night without having to squint...
Noli bit his lip...and tasted his own blood. Noli reached up and felt his teeth....he now had two sharp fang's. "Why?" Noli said as he slumped against the wall "Why do i have to be the monster....on the outside and inside.......being a full human is fine...and being a full demon is better.......but...both?" Noli looked at kriss and his own selfish feelings washed away in an instant when he saw her face....noli rembered then..what he saw in her memories.
Noli got on his knees and moved over to kriss and said "Im sorry....all im thinking about is myslef.....youve been hunted all your live and when i get at taste of what it's like....to be hunted......i cry to myself and think only about my pain."
Noli took her hands in his and said "Kriss....im sorry things turrned out this way...and im sorry im...a beast....even if you hate me for begin a half demon......i still.....i...." DAMNMIT noli thought Out with IT! Noli looked kriss in the eye's and said "Even if you hate me for it.....I still...l..l...I STILL love YOU!"

Kriss watched him, it hurt her to see him so upset, even more so that he thought he was a monster. She didn't think so, no matter how one changed on the outside, they would always be the same on the inside. And that's what she believed. No matter what changed about Noli, he would always be the same person on the inside. As he moved closer to her she spoke, her voice as calm as sweet as it always had been, "I don't think you're a monster, Noli. You're forgetting just who I am. Half demons may seem like weaklings and such, but, they are special, each having one thing more then both a human and demon." she said, trying to reassure him.
"While being human is great, they have no special abilities, however, on the other hand, a demon cannot possess the feelings of a human, and thus are ruthless and usually cruel. But, in a half demon, both are present." she said. Then, he took her hand, she looked at him, wondering what he was going to say. Her look was full of curiosity, though also of concern because she had no idea what he was going to say. As he spoke, his words rang through her ears; I still love you. she looked at him, shock and unsure of how to answer. She took a deep breath and tried to pull herself together, She wrapped her arms around Noli's neck and hugged him, tears she was unable to hold back fell from her eyes. But these weren't tears of sadness, they were of joy.
((nah, tis fine. Makes things fun to post and gives me more to type, lol ^^))

Noli hugged her back as tear's came down his face to.....that's how they sat there for a long time....noli did'nt feel sorry for himself and dident feel hatred either..."Mabey now that im half demon....we have even more in common." Noli for the first time in a long time.....was happy...
In kriss's arms....no nightmarer could touch him here no demonic force could even come close....with kriss noli felt invincable.....noli felt love for the first time in his life. "I love you kriss.....i love you...."
((Perhaps i should have been a romance novelist?))

Kriss listened to Noli as he spoke, though she didn't say anything. She only listened to his words, his voice, him himself. She was so happy, ever since the murder of her village, she'd been treated like some deadly disease. But now, ever since she met Noli, things changed; and this time it was for the better. She listened to him speak again, "I love you too, Noli!" she responded, her voice full of happiness.
