Komodo had gone ahead of Azyrl to the mountain, as a sort of scout he had thought. He didn't know what he was looking for or what not si when he figured the area was safe he cut down a large tree. This new friendship between them was a good thing in his mind. Yet, he had to question how long it would last? Would he trun on her or would she turn on him in the end?
Question were still swirling in his head, yet he didn't want to let it show. All that he cared about now was if there was any truth to that rumor he had heard.

Azryl has hung back from the mountain at a close by woods to wait for Komodo to check out his rumor. The closer she got, the more nausious she became. She can't help it really. The barrier is more then she expected, It is only the jewel shards that allow her to get this close without causing trouble for herself.
She sits here on a small hill in this woods, about as close as she can get without difficulty. Oddly she wants to trust Komodo and feels that she has good reason. He stood up to her, she remembers what it was like to have to fight for everything. And in the end, he gave her the shard for a total of three. No, I do not have a crush on a Half breed, Just an alliance, nothing more. Maybe a friendship, but that is all.

Komodo was done here, there was nothing true in that rumor. Whatever was here it was gone now. He walked through the woods looking for Azryl now, he thought that they should leave since there was no point in staying around. He didn't find her until about noon.
"Nothing is here, the rumor was false," he said.
He leaned up against a tree and began to whistle. It was one of those things he did every once in a while when he needed to think. He looked at Azryl waiting for her response, if she had one.

Azryl stands up from the hill, though she does feel a bit drunk in feelings from being this close. "So what exsactly were you looking for by coming here. It seems that the barrier would keep whatever demon at bay."
She takes a place close to him at the tree and leans on the tree herself, just on a different side. She had not seen even a demon since they came into the area. The anerved her most of all. "But since you did not find anything, can we perhaps go now?"

Komod felt some wind blow against his scaley skin. It wasn't too cold, but just chilly enough to cause him some problems in his bloodstream. He heard Azryl saw that she wanted to leave this place. He had to agree with her, after all she was a full bloded demon and this mountain seemed to have soem dod effects on her. But the question now was, where to?
They had traveled pretty far from that river, and it ended in vein. What if there were no more shards to be found at this time? What would they do then? He was even more concerned with the apporoach of winter in a bit. He could feel it in his bones, and for the first twenty-four hours he would be useless to Azryl.
"Where to now then, I don't know exactly where we should head," he said looking up at the sky through the tree line.

Azryl notices him shiver a bit as they stood there. He is part reptile and this happens during the approaching cold. Oddly she didn't even feel the wind, if they were knee deep in snow she might have, but she is fine other wise. It is the felonous cat demon in her, she always feels pretty stable in most environments.
"We should probably leave here at least. Seems like it is going to get a lot colder here in the near future." She starts to move away toward the south, away from the mountain. "I never thought of this little hunt to be easy, but I know the jewel is bigger then this. I remember the stories saying it was round. Anyway. Lets just get away from here."
