Amythest hues watched the fields of flowers as the wind pushed them by. The girl, standing alone, clenched tightly on the worn-out leather straps from the simple bag that she had swung over her shoulder before the hike from her hut. On days when the sky is as clear as the ocean, and the weather like a feather on skin; no other time could be as perfectly enticing as of this own. The meadow, filled with arrays of gorgeous plants of every species, is alluring itself; but the with add of the noonday and caressing happiness, this place couldn't be anymore bewitching. And for long seconds, the girl stood still just analyzing the place with a printed smile. Her thin, pale-pink lips parted for only a second to gather breath, for she had forgotten to inhale. This place was just all too breath taking.
And then she thought about the myth-- the myth of the ghost that haunted this place with a kind, but meaningful, presence. No wonder the ghost did not allow such violence on these fields! If that thick, crimson blood were to taint this wonderful sighting, the corruption would be just too unbearable. It would even make poor-old Mai-Lynn cry. Tears are sacred to that girl-- to that stone-like girl, she seemed happy but being tristful touched the girl as foreign. Such emotions do not even phaze over her.
Feeling encumbered by the weight on her back, Mai-Lynn began to loll over, supporting her belongings with her lower-back strength. Why had she packed all these things anyways? Oh, that was right! She had made lunch, packed them gently and delicately into seperate boxes, and carried them here; she was planning a picnic, and whomever comes along who needs a bite, she will have plently left over to share with; and she wouldn't mind the company. So the girl passed a few thick, oak trees, and dropped her belongings carefully on the soft grass beneath her. The girl stretched her little back out before unraveling the bag, unfolding cloth by cloth, before revealing the hidden treasure: food. With a plastered smile, Mai-Lynn unpacked her lunch and placed it out neatly on a folded cloth that had been the surrounding of the bag. Once finished setting the lunch up just right, Mai-Lynn took her own seat and pressed her hands together in prayer.
"Itadakimasu..." Said she, her eyes fluttering open as she snapped her sticks in half and then picking at the grains of rice. She at solemnly, eyeing the meadow around her. She then wondered if someone would come by; if she would have any company.

A couple of days had past since she had discovered the well and every day she found some time to pass through and visit the past. This visit was going to last more then a few hours, back in her time school had a break and her mother had gone to visit a relative. She would be gone for a week so Yukina would spend at least a few days in the feudal Era. A smile crossed her lips as she readjusted the shoulder strap to her backpack. When she visited the feudal Era she wore her Miko garbs, after all if she wore her other clothes she would stick out like a sore thumb. As a priestess most lower level demons chose to leave her alone, which was helpful because even in that time a human girl traveling by herself wasn’t the safest thing.
The well worn path came to an end, with nothing but grass and rolling hills ahead. Most would consider turning back at this point, but what fun would that be? She continued forward, the wind brushed against her pale skin, carrying with it the sweet smell of flowers. There had to be a meadow near bye, a perfect place to rest. She had been walking for most of the day with out a break, her stomach growled at this point to also remind her she hadn’t eaten yet either. With that she decided it was a good idea to go and rest in the meadow, so off she went in the direction of the sweet smell.
When the Meadow came into few she couldn’t help but let her breath be taken away from her. The site was amazing; back in the future you would never see a site like this. It was a pity that time didn’t preserve a meadow such as this. Her grey eyes scanned the area, she noticed she was not alone in admiring the beauty of the field. She calmly walked over to the girl who seemed to have her hands clasped in prayer. What happened next surprised her, she broke a pair of disposable chopsticks. To her knowledge those weren’t invented yet. Could she have got them from another person whom traveled through the well? Either way she would have to wait an see, asking someone a question like that would raise suspicion. The smell of food reached her nose and her stomach growled once more, most likely the sound was going to catch the attention of the stranger. Walking up slowly she approached the girl with a kind smile.
” Excuse me miss, would you mind if I join you?”
She dropped her back pack and it hit the ground with a heavy thud. One would have to wonder what she carried in it. Before she sat she would wait for an answer from the girl, after all it would be rude if she didn’t wait until the girl said it was ok to join her.
