Although she was not royalty (at least in the Modern Era), everyone called her Shachou (Company President) or Hime (Princess) and treated her as such. Tomoyo Tsukishiro was loved by her employees, then again why wouldnt they? The girl was not a tyrant like most of their previous employers before they joined Piffle Company, the multi-billion dollar conglomerate run by the youngest President in all history.
Some compare her and call her the modern (and female) King Tut; who was put in the throne at the age of nine. She was put into a seat of power, the highest seat, as the President and CEO of the Multi-billion dollar company at a young age also. But she, unlike Tut, has no plans to die young.
Everyone in the city, (well not everyone, that would be ludicrous), was going crazy at the moment. People ran back and forth, crowding around particular streets, and with good reason. Word has it that Tomoyo-Hime (Princess Tomoyo), was coming through town.
There was even a parade of police vehicles roaring down the street. There were three cars in all, two motorcycles, and two horses on the front and the same number on the back. It was a certifiable parade, and in the center was the long black and gorgeous limo, in which Tomoyo sat, comfortably, staring outside.
The only thing this parade was missing; aside from the brass bands and streamers, were the massive and ridiculous-looking character balloons.
The girl had been staring out of her window, black hair falling across her face when her head rose up. Something felt...different. Her eyes looked out and ran up and down the road they were on. The people were cheering, the people were shouting and waving, and her eyes fell on it, the stairs that led up...
She'd call forward. "Stop the car, please." The man did not ask questions, he did not speak. He slid the car to a stop, which in effect caused the police behind her to stop. The people stared in awe and anticipation as the driver slid out of the driver's seat, walked to her door and pulled it open.
She stepped out, as she'd look around. Her figure clad in a long black dress (her favorite) with buttons running along the front. It had a white underlayer, and on her head was a black hat, which she kept in place with one hand. She'd look up the stairs and smiled over at the driver. "I wont be long..."
He'd give a soft assured nod as she'd give the people a faint wave and then, without a word, began to climb up the stairs to Higurashi Temple. Something up there...was calling to her.

A soft breeze of a cool spring day brushed against her pale skin, birds chirped and flittered about making there nests. One even had the nerve to swoop down and pluck a deep violet colored strain of her hair. She rubbed her head where the little thief had taken its treasure. Birds here had yet to learn the fear of humans, but within a couple hundred years even the wrong look would spook them. Her vibrate grey eyes scanned her surroundings; it was such a peaceful beautiful place back in the past. One learned to appreciate things they once had a little too late for by the time they did it was already gone. Yukina was blessed with a chance to go back and appreciate she did, mother natures work was something no artist could capture in its full beauty. She took in a deep breath inhaling air which had not yet been tainted with pollution. A field not to far off filled the air with the sweet fragrant of new spring flowers, such a wonderful smell which she could stay around all day. A sigh escaped her lips it was such a shame she would have to leave and return to her time, she had exams to take the next day which like always she would ace with a perfect score but it wouldn’t hurt to take some time to study.
She finally swung one red clad leg over the old wooden structure of the well, then finaly the other so her feet were dangling over its dark abyss. Grabbing her overly stuffed backpack she finally slid off the edge and fell into the time portal. The soft purple lights did not take long to engulf her bring her back to the modern times of the future. Darkness was all that greeted her; it took a little while for her eyes to adjust to the well covered house. Bits of dusty light streamed in through the wooden cracks of the roof, providing her with enough light to now be able to take in her surroundings. Like always the well spat her out right at the bottom of the Hingerashi well. Kagome from her frequent travels back and forth had placed a later for an easy escape root out of the dank musty old well. Her silky smooth pale hand gripped the latter and she slowly began to make her accent. Her nose was still trying to get use to the new smells that bombarded her and the noise that could be herd from the streets sounded louder then normal.
The well house door was pushed aside and out stepped the young beauty. She was a senior in high school and happened to become class president, along with being the top student in Japan. On top of all her school work she was also the head Miko at a shrine not to far off from the Hingerashi’s and unbeknownst to every one else she also fought demons both in the future and past on her free time. Yes she was defiantly much busier then your average teenage girl. But even if it did take its toll on her she did not show it, her kind calm demeanor everlasting. She was polite and went out of her way to help those she didn’t even know she was the perfect child by any mother’s standard. It was her mother that Yukina cared most about and she would do most anything to please her.
Vibrant grey eyes scanned the cobble stone walkways, they rested on an elderly grey haired man who was beckoning for her to come over. A soft smile graced her lips as she strode over to young Kagomes grandfather. He was a bit off his rocker, but his company was pleasant always trying to educate younger masses about the past which most of the time was completely inaccurate. Though Yukina did little to correct him, she just found it amusing to listen to his tales. After all the chance to tell someone his tales brought him some joy and who was she to take that away. He greeted her with much enthusiasm and insisted she join him for tea after he completed his daily duties around the shrine. He also brought to her attention what the commotion was about down on the streets, though he didn’t seem to pleased about it. Mumbling something about big shot young people getting to much of an ego, having parades and such in the middle of Tokyo. A chuckle escaped Yukina’s lips as she gently put down her pack and proceeded to help Kagomes Grandfather sweep up the shrine grounds.
The soft sounds of foot steps made her pause in her work and she looked up to find a girl whom seemed no older then her walk onto the shrine grounds. She glanced over at the old man whom seemed to far off into his own little mutterings to notice the new guest. So she took it upon her self to go greet the visitor. Placing the broom down she gracefully walked over to the young girl. A kind smile was on her face, she knew who this person was now. She recognized her from some magazines she had read not to long ago, one of the youngest ceo’s in history. But despite her stature among the public Yukina would make sure to treat her no different then any other visitor on the shrine.
”Good morning Miss, what brings you to this humble shrine today?”

It was very comfortable out there, the air was refreshing, the birds twittered above, and she could hear the sound of the people behind her but it was fading away. She'd step up the staircase, each step smooth, graceful, silent as she'd reach the top of the staircase.
Her long hair billowing softly about as the air picked up and she didnt seem to notice anyone around at first, lost in her own little world, enjoying the area around her as she'd spin and twirl softly as the leaves seemed to rise up off the ground, lifting up around her in a small cyclone as she'd then peer over at the soft sound of footsteps.
Seeing the girl beside her, she'd compose herself as she'd give a faint smile, a gentle and knowing smile. Not that she knew the girl but she knew that she was no different here than any Mary Sue and Joe Schmoe that walked off the street; she could be the Queen of England, and she'd still be treated the same, she knew that, and she liked that. In fact, she respected that.
She'd give the girl; whether or not she was a miko didn't cross her mind, a bow. She'd bow softly before her, politely and smoothly before she'd raise herself up. "Hello." She didnt want to be rude so she introduced herself, "I am Tomoyo Tsukishiro." If the girl knew her by face, now she knew her also by name, she indeed was the girl from the magazines, from the TV interviews, etc.
"Ive driven past this place so many times..." She'd speak softly, politely as she'd look around, moving her hair behind her ear as the wind softly picked up. She'd walk past the girl and turned to look at her. "I guess...." well she couldnt very well tell her the truth, she cant just walk up to her and say I felt the presence of a sacred jewel shard and Ive come to investigate, so instead she says, without a moment's pause, "I decided it was best to stop once....tell the driver to pull over and come up here..."
It was the truth, or at least partly. The place was beautiful and she had never seen it close up before. Not that she doesnt know what the inside of a shrine looked like but she held every shrine, every home like this to be special in its own right, it was beautiful, peaceful , serene, and she liked it. "Do you live here?" She'd ask kindly, not wanting to get too personal, just wanting to get a better feel for the girl she was speaking to.
