The trees knew nothing, and everything, and told no one of their stories. Long within their hollowed forms, the secrets grew and ,multiplied. Within these carvings, deep inside, the scores of tells would gather. And it here, no where else, where the truth rung clearly, and no lies persuaded it otherwise.
She walked among the trees in the morning sun, the drizzle of the light rain having just passed, and her clothes, her hair, he whole being evident of her travels amongst the rain strong. She moved more though, into the heart of the woods, her face never changing from its form, as eyes rolled over the trees.
Many showed the secrets they hid, with scars running across their trunks, and newlines growing still, with tracks around on the ground from creatures just moments before. She stopped at a tree, no different than the rest, and rung her eyes to look to the tops of them, seizing the canopy of the beast in her gaze.
The line upon her face lowered, turning itself fully into all the negative energy that could be managed beforehand. And there, upon it, layed a distasteful frown, scarring up in lip formation, as she sought a safe place, and jumped high into the tree. Hands grip the ventricles of woody vines toughly, and swung round the form to land safely upon the plants, her form settling against the tree, as eyes roamed the area around her.
Here she expected the perfect peace, no more or less than could be called forth for any, and here she rested with absolute wonder, without closing her eyes as they wondered the world around her. She was not paranoid, but did know well of what the world could bring forth, and kept all to herself, the thoughts the accumulated in her mind.
