Kanrya smiled happily and looked back at Zensen curiously and tilted her head to the side. "Huh why did you do that Zensen?" She asked poiltely and blushed slightly as she looked him over. She sighed and remembered that red panda demon manservant of Sesshomaru's and sighed a little. That demon was certainly dreamy but she knew that she would never find love in this life and maybe not ever. "Hey Yui-chan have you ever known love besides that from your parents?" She asked feeling sad and her ears drooped. She sighed and picked her lunch up and started eating trying to fill her empty stomach.

ɤ Zensen ɤ ɤ I’m the voice ɤ ɤ Inside your head ɤ ɤ You refuse to hear ɤ
So tell me what would you say.
Zen grinned a bit sheepishly when the attention came back to him; he had tried to be nonchalant for a reason, and he was not looking forward to explaining why he had kicked the Thylacine. As the probing gazes of bother the girls turned on him, sent a withering glance at Hara, who gave a triumphant grin in return.
“Well, uh, I don’t guess you heard that she was talking just before that, did you?” he asked, more a rhetorical question to buy time than anything, “Her comments were of the, well, unsavory type, so I decided to reprimand her,” he said, hoping they would accept that and not question what exactly she had said; he did not exactly wish to be the one to relate her dislike of these two.
“Now that’s hardly true! I had simply said that it may not be a good idea to bring her along home; was that so horrible?” Hara said, spinning around and acting as though she were appalled at Zen’s accusation.
Zen sent her a very dark look before replying, “Yes, you may have said that, but not in so light a tone, and that was hardly the full extent of it,” then he added, switch to the Thylacine tongue, “And after how rude you’ve been, do you honestly believe that you can pull off the innocent by-stander act on this one?”
She gave a wolfish grin, “Worth a shot.”

While waiting for an answer she let her eyes travel over to Kanrya, she had a strange look on her face. Yui fallowed her gaze, wondering what would make her face go all red like that. She chuckled knowingly once she finally realized what made Kanrya blush like that. Now that she thought about it Zensen was extremely cute with a nice personality to boot. But she wasn’t about to let that show one her face. Her mind was snapped back from wandering when Zensen decided to explain himself. Another laugh escaped her lips as him and his tiger bickered.
”Its quiet alright, She has every reason not to trust us. After all we’ve only known each other for less then an hour. But she might as well get over the fact that I am eventually going to your tribe. Kake is basically family to me, and now that I know where he is I’m going to make sure to find him again. Sooo whether or not Zensen brings me I’ll be showing up anyways.”
She smiled, even though her tone and attitude still remind pleasant the silent challenge to try and stop her rang loud and clear. There was a indescribable glint present in her grey orbs. There were only a few things that caused that look, and one of them was when some one was trying to come between her and family. But as quick as her mood swing came she was back to her normal self.
”Excuse me for that little outburst of mine, when it comes to family and friends I’m a little possessive.
When Kanrya spoke Yukina couldn’t help but let a shocked look spread across her face. Love? Now where did that question come from. Her expression fell into a more serious one when she realized that Kanrya was sincere in her question. It was a question not to be taken lightly so she thought about her answer carefully.
”I’m afraid I have not, besides for the creepy stalkers back where I’m from but I would hardly call that love. Someday I hope to find someone who would love me but until then I rather not dwell on the matter. My question is why do you ask?

Kanrya blushed like crazy and made a shooing motion with her hand as she looked between Yui-chan and Zensen and blushed even more. "Oh no reason no reason at all..." Kanrya suddenly began stuffing her face trying to keep quiet and kept looking towards Zensen as he bickered with his familar. "I might tell you later okay Yui?" She started fidgeting nervously and continued blushing a beet red.

ɤ Zensen ɤ ɤ I’m the voice ɤ ɤ Inside your head ɤ ɤ You refuse to hear ɤ
When you’re driving me insane, well then I think it’s time that we took a break.
Zen was absolutely dreading what his outspoken companion would have to say as he listened to what Yukina had to say; he just knew that this would not end well even before she had finished speaking; he could literally feel how eager Hara was to challenge the girl, and he cringed at the power of her eagerness. He doubted this would end in anything even remotely close to be called “well”.
“Oh, so you’ll show up anyways, will you?” Hara began, and Zen groaned, putting his face in his hands, “Well, miss forbidden child, I seem to remember you saying you don’t know where the tribe is, so how exactly do you plan on finding it without our help?” She paused, but Zen knew her well enough to know that the little Thylacine was not near done; she was far too competitive for her own good, and Yuki’s challenge was all it took to set her off.
“And, the tribe may accept guests, but if we spread the word not to let you in, they’ll chase you off at first sight,” she added, smirking a wolfish grin.
Now Zen had had enough at the mention of involving him in keeping the girl away, “Girls, would you mind if I kicked her again?” he asked, and, without waiting for a reply, kicked Hara quite a bit harder than he had last time. She yelped and looked accusingly at him, but the look he returned made her forget what she was about to say and fall silent. He sighed, and turned back to the girls.
“Please forgive her; she’s a bit competitive, and took what you had said as a challenge; she’s never been good at letting a challenge go unanswered. For all that we Thylacine youkai are peaceful, our familiars make up for it and more,” he explained, chuckling a bit as Hara began to mutter in the Thylacine tongue.
That dealt with, Zen was able to pay attention when Kanrya asked her question, and also to the answer Yukina gave. He was quite confused by the question, and looked questioningly at both the other youkai, completely lost as to where the question had come from. Hara, on the other hand, believed that she had quite the good idea as to where the question had come from.
Zen knew something bad was coming when the Thylacine began to feel quite amused, and he cringed at the wolfish grin she had; his kick and glare had only suppressed her for a moment, apparently. She practically jumped to her paws and began to prance around the three youkai, chanting all the time, “Some one thinks some one is hot,” over and over, putting the emphasis on the last word every time she did.
Zen stared at her in undisguised surprise; what in the great den of the Thylacines was she doing? By her fifth prancing circle around them and about the eleventh repetition of the chant, it finally sunk in. His red gaze went from Hara to Kanrya, making the connection of what his companion was saying, and then quickly dropped to the ground as he ducked his head, feeling a blush spread across his own face. This only encouraged Haramaki, who began to prance a little faster and chant a little louder, enjoying every bit of Zen’s embarrassment. Had he not been so embarrassed, he would have felt the triumph she was feeling; she was defiantly getting pay back for his kicks.

Kanrya’s reaction was an amusing one, but Hara’s chant was something that made her forget all anger towards the tiger. She burst out laughing at both of there embarrassment, and couldn’t help but singing some of the verses herself. Her grey twinkled with mischief. An evil grin spread across the young Kitsune’s face and she placed a hand on Zen’s shoulder.
”That’s one thing you should learn quick out here, many demons aren’t as cute as you and Kanrya’s reaction wont be the first. So either start being obnoxious like your friend there or be the dream guy most women are after.”
She looked over at Hara with the evil grin still on her face, this may have been out of character for her but she sure was having fun.
”I’m guessing he’s the kind of guy that has a fan club and he had absolutely no clue. If so I think it just gained a new member. Just be thankful there’s no such thing as camera’s in this era. Otherwise you DON’T want to know what happens.”
A slightly horrified look crossed her face as some unpleasant memories crossed her mind. She quickly shook her head and turned back to teasing her new friend and Kanrya.
”I’m kind of surprised you would go for his type, I always pictured you liking some one who’s well more like that arrogant lizard.

Kanrya glared at Yui-chan and snarled. "I figured you would like him since you were wearing a tiny skirt that barely covered your ass and I'm pretty sure he would like a nice peek at what's underneath..." She growled and waited for a time when that annoying tiger pranced into her vicinity and let a punch release hard into the tiger's chin. "How dare you make fun of me Yukina...I thought you were my friend and after all you told me...i thought we were in the same boat! It just goes to show that you are just like everyone else!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. She sat there trembling in anger and got up. "Zensen it was a pleasure to meet you and hopefully we will see each other sometime soon..." She glared at Yuikina and got ready to run off.

Yukina raised her hands up in defense; she sincerely didn’t mean to hurt Kanrya’s feeling. Yukina’s face truly showed how sincerely sorry she was and she looked down at the ground ashamed. She turned her body so it faced Kanrya and sat on her knees and dropped down into a low bow, so low that her fore head touch the ground.
”Gomen nasai Kanrya, I spoke unkindly it was wrong of me to do so. You have every right to be angry with me. I was just teasing if I had known it would hurt you like this I would have held my tongue. I hope you know I did not mean the things I said to be mean.”
She sat up and proceeded to bow to Zensen also for she had teased him to. She stood up and brushed off her cloths.
”Also you should know I hate that uniform, its not like I choose to wear it because if I remember right I came right from the middle of one of my classes to stop you from signing your death card. Now if you’ll excuse me my mothers probably waiting for me at home.
Seeing how Kanrya was mad at her she didn’t see it as right for her to make Kanrya leave, so she would just go herself. She would just go home and search for shards by herself for the next few days. That’s usually how long it took Kanrya to cool off.

ɤ Zensen ɤ ɤ I’m the voice ɤ ɤ Inside your head ɤ ɤ You refuse to hear ɤ
He doesn’t want her out there and alone now.
Zen blushed all the more as Yukina joined Hara in teasing him and Kanrya, ducking his head further to hide the blush that was spreading further across his face; he was so embarrassed, that he wouldn’t be surprised if the Thylacine tattoo on his back was blushing along with him. The statement that he was cuter than most demons took him quite by surprise, but he was not the type to gloat in such complements; instead, it only embarrassed him further.
Even in all his embarrassment, though, he felt the immediate change in Hara’s mood when she was struck by one of the other demons; the Thylacine had been just about to answer Yukina’s question and tease Zen more when she pranced too close to the angered youkai and got struck square in the chin, a blow that sent her teeth clacking together quite audibly and knocked her on her tail a few feet off.
Instinct took over as Zen immediately forgot his embarrassment and jumped up and rushed to Hara’s side to see if she was okay; but once the immediate instinct reaction of helping his familiar died down, and he saw that she would be fine save for a wounded ego, he turned to scolding her.
“Well, you had that coming to you, and you know it, too; that was hardly an appropriate thing to do,” he growled in the Thylacine tongue; the usage of this tongue allowed him to assert his dominance quite a bit more, and he hoped it would sink in through that thick skull of hers.
“But I was just joking, she didn’t have to hit me; are you going to let her get away with it?” the tiger whimpered, stroking her sore jaw with a gentle fore paw.
“It was stupid of you to risk something; you should be more careful before assuming how someone will react. And you’ll live; besides, I was about ready to club your ears, so which would you prefer?”
She grinned gingerly, “Would you believe me if I said it won’t happen again?”
“Not at all,” he replied, grinning a bit himself as he patted her on the head and turned back to the two girls, about to explain that Hara would be fine, when he realized that the air was a bit too tense for that.
His red gaze went from the angry Kanrya to the apologetic Yukina and back, catching only the tail end of the conversation.
“Yukina, please don’t leave; I hate to see a parting on such bad terms,” he said quietly, hoping not to draw any anger upon himself for speaking up, “And Kanrya, please don’t be angry; even Hara was only joking, and if she didn’t mean any harm by it, then I’m sure that Yukina didn’t,” he continued, then, in an effort to lighten the mood, added, “Besides, Hara took the punishment for both of them; she’ll be okay, but she won’t be able to talk as much for a while, a blessing to us all, I’m sure.”
He grinned sheepishly; he could only hope it would work; he didn’t want this pleasant meeting to end on such a bad note.

Kanrya felt her anger at hara and Yukina drain out and she smiled ruefully. "It just really cut deep into me. I hated being teased when I was younger and to tell the truth most of the fights I caused stemmed from being called a filthy mix-breed...and worse yet...I guess it doesn't really hit until your friends tease you and you take offense to it even if it was friendly. " She sighed and smiled plesantly at Yukina and Zensen. "I should probably go now it's getting late..." She started to walk off and her bangs hung in her face as she stomped through the meadow.

”Don’t worry Zensen, I was planning on taking my leave soon enough. I’m afraid my mother will go hungry tonight if I don’t get back, or worse…she might burn down part of the house again…that was not a pleasant experience I care to repeat. Though before I leave….
She trailed off as she walked up to Hara and bent down so she was at her height. Yui gently placed her hand on her snout where Kanrya had landed the nasty punch. An ice cold feeling began to creep from her hand effectively numbing the pain and slowing the swelling that was sure to occur. Since they knew she was a demon it couldn’t hurt for her to use at least some of her powers. Not to mention Hara had taken the punishment for both of them, it was the least she could do.
Her attention turned back to Kanrya as she spoke, Yui couldn’t help but feel the guilt creep into her more as Kanrya spoke. She would have to do something later that would make it up to her. Realizing that Kanrya was making an exit, Yukina quickly trailed after her and placed a hand on her shoulder so she would stop. Then in a hushed tone so the other two wouldn’t here her she spoke.
“Kanrya you stay ok, my mothers waiting for me at home I have to leave anyways. Plus I think Mr. Polite over there kinda likes you. Judging by the way he acted when we complimented him he hardly has a big ego like lizard lips does, I think you two might actually get along quite well.”
Yui smiled and walked off while waving back at the two of them. Hopefully Kanrya would stay and some sparks would fly between the two demons.
Yui out

ɤ Zensen ɤ ɤ I’m the voice ɤ ɤ Inside your head ɤ ɤ You refuse to hear ɤ
What am I waiting for?
The Thylacine smiled slightly at Yui, nodding as she spoke; if she needed to go, then he understood, just as long as she didn’t leave on bad terms. When she came and crouched by Hara, he watched with interest to see what she was doing, glad to feel the change in Hara’s feelings fade from pain to relief; the little tiger had definitely deserved to be hit, but he still didn’t like to see her in pain, regardless of the reason for it. And, while the other two may not pick up on it, he knew that Hara truly felt remorseful for taking things too far; she deserved something for that, at least.
He smiled slightly when Hara sat up, rubbing a paw experimentally against her jaw, then giving a lop-sided grin, as if to say all better. Glad that his companion was fine now, Zen turned his attention to Yuki as she spoke with Kanrya; even with his good hearing, he could make out only the voice and not the words, and if Hara had any different luck, she said nothing of it.
As Yukina left, waving as she did, Zen lifted a hand to wave back, and Hara even lifted a paw, still grateful to the girl for helping her with her wound. When the kitsune was out of sight, Zen turned back to Kanrya, a small, shy smile on his lips, “Well, that probably could have gone better,” he said, letting out a soft, short laugh, “I’m sorry for Hara’s teasing, but I think she’s learned her lesson,” he added, and looked to Hara for conformation, who nodded vigorously, the winced as she found some small pain that Yukina had not fully numbed.

Kanrya blushed a crimson as Zensen offered her his shy smile and smiled back. "I-I'm really sorry Zensen...and Hara...i shouldn't have lashed out as I did." She looked guilty at what she did. She knew they where joking and shouldn't have gone to that much of an extreme. She crouched down and smiled tenderly at Hara as she stretched out a hand. "Will you let me see the damage I did Hara?" She felt very guilty at lashing out at a helpless animal and wanted to make it up to her. "I'm really sorry Zensen..." She watched him and sighed softly.

ɤ Zensen ɤ ɤ I’m the voice ɤ ɤ Inside your head ɤ ɤ You refuse to hear ɤ
And I feel awkward, as I should.
“You’re dern right…” the Thylacine spoke up at the girl’s comment, but fell silent at Zen’s reprimanding look, starting again, more properly, with, “It’s fine, don’t worry about it.”
Zen grinned; that girl just never did learn; she’s liable to get herself hit again speaking out like that. “It’s okay, Kanrya,” Zen said softly, “as you can see, Hara’s perfectly fine,” he added, laughing softly.
When the girl crouched down and asked to see the damage, Hara sniffed scornfully, “Damage? You didn’t do no damage,” she proclaimed haughtily, provoking another soft laugh from Zensen; she was still wincing from time to time.
Zen shook his head, waving off the girl’s repeated apologies, “Don’t worry; she’ll live, and she would have gotten worse back home if she’d have behaved like that in front of some of the elders,” he said, laughing as Hara’s face changed to a horrified look, as though worse would be the end of the world, when she knew very well that Zen was only trying to smooth the incident over, telling a little white lie to make the girl feel better; he didn’t like to see someone so guilty for such a small thing.

Kanrya blushed red and fidgeted nervously. "Really?" She asked and blushed again. She stood up and stretched while standing on her toes. "Zensen do you want to travel with me and Yui-chan?' She blushed a third time and turned her head to the side trying to keep from letting him see her blush like crazy. What is this feeling? Why am I turning redder than a sunburn in the summer months? She felt her burning cheeks and had a little panic fit mentally. She finally recovered and the blush went away from her cheeks. "So Zen..." She managed to say without blushing. "Do you travel a lot?" She mentally berated herself at that question.
