Petioning Lord Sesshomaru for a job

Kanrya ran towards Lord Sesshomaru's castle and smirked . this should be easy and hopefully he'll think i'm a youkai she sniffed the air and smirked. Yep that was the supposed Lord's Scent. she continued to run towards the castle.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru had stopped what he was doing, immediately sensing the aura of an uknown demon. None like his servants, none like Hitoshi, Jaken, or Brigantia. Who he had been spending his time with until he had sensed this new being. And today was a day that he was bored enough to investigate. His aura surged around him, and his form was covered in white light as it formed into a ball, flying in the air and landing in front of his domain, the ball opening and changing into his form until he appeared from the light, his emotionless eyes meeting the form of the new intruder.

What did she want? Of course, he didn't even care to ask, only stayed quiet, his eyes narrowed as he watched the female suspiciously.

Kanrya sensed his aura and skidded to a halt and looked up at Sesshomaru and smirked. She smiled up at him and stood watching him. "Lord Sesshomaru...what a pleasure to finally meet a legend such as yourself...why don't you come down here i promise i don't bite...well not hard at least" She chuckled lightly and grinned wider. "I'd come up there myself but alas i don't have wings i'm afraid..." She smirked and stood waiting there. she rested her hand on the hilt of her katana either waiting for him to speak or attack her.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru glared down at the woman as she spoke. He little joke was not amusing to him. Did she truly think that he felt threatened by her? Rediculous. He notice how her hands moved to her sword, but even so he allowed himself to lower to the ground, his feet barely making any noise as it cunched the grass underneath him.

"What reason do you have to intrude on my lands?" he asked her, his voice as cold as ever.

Kanrya smiled harmlessly. "I humbly request to serve the legend that you are milord." She noticed that he saw her put her hand on her katana and quickly withdrew it from said spot. "I have been training as a warrior and possibly an assassin to better serve those who i serve." She smiled again. "I have heard that your upstart little brother inuyasha is looking for the jewel shards of the shikon no tama yet again."

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru watched her, listening to he words with the emotionless mask still in place, if anything, it made him seem like her words meant nothing to him. And truly, they were nothing. So, she wished to serve him? Speaking of Inuyasha made his eyes narrow just a bit. "Such a thing has nothing to do with me." he said with a small huff. "How do you plan to serve this Sesshomaru?"

"She thought for a moment and smirked. "Well i suppose this one could bring you the jewel shards if you so desire,,,or I could steal the tetsusaiga for you Lord Sesshomaru if you desire that. Or maybe destroy your brother for you." Kanrya paused for a moment. "It all depends on what you wish me to do Lord Sesshomaru..." She stood tall and waited for that sesshomaru to decide on what he wanted to say to her. She yawned and stretched keeping her muscles limber while she waited to see if he would kill her or not for her impudence.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru barely listened to what she had to offer, what services she could give him. He needed nothing of what she told him, and in fact, his disinterest showed on his face. "I do not desire the jewel shards, I have no need for tetsutsaiga," What was the point when he couldn't use it even if he had it? "And the hanyou will die by my hands only." he let out a small breath and turned his back on her. "You are no use to me, now leave."

Kanrya shrugged and watched him silently. "Very well then I suppose that you also know that a demon known in the human's tongue as Naraku was brought back to life by another demon named Lord Keiran..." She turned away from Lord Sesshomaru and began walking away hoping that this one thing he did not know and demand to know more about. "I also hear that he also wants this Inuyasha dead as well.." She shrugged and continued walking away from Sesshomaru. "But hey it's your loss...maybe I'll go be apart of Inuyasha's team..." She smirked hoping that that would goad Sesshomaru into action.

Kanrya yawned and continued to walk back the way she had come. Oh well...she thought to herself he's a stuck up prick anyway...She put her hands behind her head and watched the sky smiling up at the white clouds.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

"Lord Keiran?" Sesshomaru asked, his back still turned on Kanrya, stopping for a few moments as the information seeped in. He had not known this. He had known Naraku had been brought back...but he had not known by who. Nor had it really mattered, but this 'lord Keiran' held all the strings. It was he that now had Naraku's life in his hand as Naraku had in his reincarnates. How did she know all this information?

Kanrya paused for a second and smirked. "Ah so the mighty Lord Sesshomaru didn't know this did he? Too bad you deemed me unfit to serve you before you learned this information..." She yawned and then grinned at Sesshomaru incessantly. She leaned against a tree and watched Sesshomaru quietly. "I'm afraid that this might cost you some dignity...maybe that Inuyasha fellow might need the information that I have?" She looked thoughtful and then looked at Sesshomaru innocently and took a few tentative steps towards him. "You know thieves are quite the useful information gatherers. I mean we have to make the best of what we have and what intellegence we have." She chuckled softly. "Poor Lord Sesshomaru...ignorant as always." Kanrya shook her head mocking him and then she turned her back and then walked off into the trees leaving him to ponder her words.

Maybe he didn't need this information. If anything, he'd rather not know this information to have to listen to this female a moment longer. This...woman talked to him in such a manner. Even so, he kept his back turned toward her, his eyes narrowed and his teeth gringing together, and even if his back wasn't turned, she wouldn't have noticed his anger. Cost him dignity? Ugh, what a thought. She was going to give Inuyashs the information just to spite him!

Sesshomaru wasn't trully angry until she spoke her last words. Ignorant! Ignorant she says! He turned toward her then, glaring at her back as she left. Kill her, kill her, kill her. His whole form had the urge to do so, but he decided against it. For when did the lord Sesshomaru lose control over his emotions? And so, instead he turned his back once again and walked back to his domain, back to Brigantia. She had a lot on her hands to calm him down. Though it was something his little butterfly was certainly good at.

Kanrya yawned widely. She chuckled as she watched that sesshomaru leave from the cover of the trees. She ignited a black fireball and giggled loudly. She wanted to watch this arrogant baka run around with his pants on fire and as soon as they burned completely off she was going to run like the hell hounds were after her. Which to a certain extent would be true. Kanrya was already sensing Sesshomaru's anger at being called ignorant and although this was certainly going to put the icing on the cake she didn't exactly want to die for it. Kanrya giggled and finally threw the ball of dark fire at Lord Sesshomaru then ran for it.

[Birdie]

Unfortunately that was the moment Brigantia, spotted with flour from baking, had coem out to investigate the visitor hoping she might offer somethign to the traveler. The trees had also begun to complain of a creature playing with fire. It was something not quite a particular demon. She raised her brows at first, trying to understand what memories were telling her as she entered a spot where she could see the new comer.

What she saw caused Brigantia to be gone with in a moment. In the hand of Epsilon her father's swrod was held tightly. A silly smirk on her face. "Oh deary." she clicked her tounge, sitting comfortably. "A wall of black fire, formed with in the bowels of hell, rose before Kanrya before she could make ehr escape. "I shall have fun with this I am sure." Her tone was soft, but exceedingly scary. No living creature should sound that way. After a moment she fell silent.

Brigantia was back. Fear showed on her face as the sword and fire disapeared. Wings sprouted from her back and she floated easily down to Sesshomaru. Her eyes wide. "Nothing happened? R-r-right?" she murmured, placing a hand on his arm.

Sesshomaru paused for a moment, his eyes narrowed as he could sense the ball of fire coming toward him. What was that worthless demon thinking to attack someone like he, lord Sesshomaru? He sidestepped the fire ball but almost lost his balance when Brigantia appeared and Epsilon took over. He could tell by the way she spoke, her facial expression, and thesudden sword held in her hand. He turned his body back to Kanrya, seeing as her escape had been blocked by Epsilon. Hm, seemed as if the woman was on his side today.

Sesshomaru watched with amusment of the whole ordeal, but was curious when Epsilon became silent, and then Brigantia had returned, her wings sprouting from her back as she came to his side and spoke to him. He shook his head.

"Nothing happened." he stated simply, before his eyes fell on Kanrya. Hopefully she hadn't disappeared after the firewall had vanished. "But something will soon." he stated, eyes narrowing dangerously as he stalked toward his new pray, his hands tensing at his side, his claws sharp and ready to tear Kanrya to bits for trying to attack the demon lord.
