Dance Like No One's Watching [C]

[Lord Sesshomaru]

If only the tenseiga could but people in half. And if only the toad would stay that way. Sesshomaru wanted to kill Jaken so badly right now that his arm was shaking, he was stopping himself from cutting him in half again. Damn, he grabbed the wrong sword. Of course, he continued to tell him that, but he hadn't made a mistake. He just wanted to cut him in half, and so he did, not caring if it was permanent or not. It satisfied some of his anger at least. If only he could truly kill Jaken, and just bring him back to life a few hundred times. Sadly, the tenseiga didn't work that way.

Jaken knew he was done for. He had never seen his lord so angry with him before. He didn't know how his lord would punish him next. He knew it was far from over. Although the cut with tenseiga didn't hurt, it still brought fear to Jaken. As if it was a silent threat of what was to come. He didn't even know if he would survive!!

Then suddenly he was scooped up into Brigantia's arms, his fear from his lord left him paraluzed for a few moments, not knowing what to do in the arms of his lord's mate. "L-let me go you-!!" he squirmed and he was released, not even bothering to yell at her as he might normally would have. Today wasn't the day to yell at her...


Sesshomaru ignored Jaken for a second, his eyes turning toward Brigantia as she spoke her apology. He didn't say anything, but continue to stare down at her, none of his anger showing. It had mostly died down, including to see that fearful look on her face. With her whisper he turned his head and looked toward Jaken, who cowered before his gaze. "If only it were permanent." Sesshomaru turned to look back at her again as she sobbed, and although he wished to comfort her, the last person he would do that in front of was Jaken.

And so, the demon lord got a way to get him gone, and punish him at the same time. He raised his hand, allowing his poison to reach his fingers before they began to drip from them, landing on the ground with a small sizzle. With a flick of his finger a few drops landed on Jaken's forehead. Immediately he began to yell, his hands moving to his face as he ran in circles before disapearing from the area to get away from his angered lord.

With a smirk of satisfaction he turned to face Brigantia once more, the smirk immediately disapearing as he looked at her. He frowned. "Do not worry," he began, keeping his voice low, and comforting as he wrapped his arm around her waist and brought her close to him. "It would have been surprising if you actually knew the powers of tenseiga."

[Birdie]

"To heal only once. It's brother has the power to kill many. It is a cradle story told by the earth to her children. Very few of those children choose to listen." She said, enjoying being held by Sesshomaru. She allowed her ear to rest against the metal plate that Sesshoamru used as armor. Her fingers also rested against the cool metal. "Most of my people know thsi story." She told him softly. "We often know these things before they happen. At leasst, those of us who are pure of blood." This indicated she had no idea what teh future might bring her.

She looked up at him with a watery smile, recovering from her tears. "I know that Jaken-sampai hates me, I wish he could understand... she hid her face again. "Even though he hates me I hate to thino fhim dead. He makes me laugh." She giggled as if to prove this point. "Please, I beg you, do not really kill him. " She looked up at him, that same, small smile on her tan face.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru was surprised that she knew more of tenseiga than he had thought. It was almost annoying how much she knew that he, himself, would think she did not know. Was it a butterfly thing, to have so much knowledge? He held her loosely by the waist listening as she spoke. Sesshomaru wondered how much more she knew. He didn't like to be the one less knowledgeable. At least he still had more power...but even that was doubting for Brigantia had shown a lot of hidden strength. They were almost even. But even so, he still believed he needed to protect her, it was his job to be the powerful one. Not her.

Sesshomaru turned his attention back to Brigantia as she spoke of Jaken. The honorific at the end of his name didn't really fit him. The little toad was supposed to be beneath her, not above her. Ah well, habits die hard he guessed. It wasn't that bad. "Jaken has lived this long traveling with me, he will be fine." Sesshomaru stated, closing his eyes for a moment as he spoke. Yes, many years, many centuries Jaken had been with him.

A long, long time....

[Birdie]

She smiled gently up at him. "I beleive you." She always would. Not only was it her duty as his mate, but it was jsut the way she was. Evem if Sesshomaru told her lie upon lie she would beleive him because she would want to think that his words would always be true.

She took a lock of his hair into her fingers, as she allowed herself to be held, and began to play idly with it. She twirled it around her fingers. It was amazing how smooth and silky his hair actually was. It seemed somewhat feminine. It was enough to make her giggle as she hid her face against his chest. The lock of hair was let go in the process.

After a moment she asked something that had been naging her for a while. "Is it really all right to be here? I mean, I feel like, at any moment, your mother could appear." There was fear evident in her voice. Of course she was afraid of Sakura. Brigantia had cursed her with something that even the strongest demon could not cope with. Cosntantly feelings anothers pain was something no one could deal with. It was hard for Brigantia herself to stay sane. That curse was, more or less, Brigantia's blessing. It caused a great amount of understand for the little butterfly.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru watched her boringly as she played with his hair. All the while thinking how much he hated Jaken. Stupid little green toad. If he hadn't interrupted, she wouldn't just be playing with his hair right now. So sad, the only time he had done truly anything with Brigantia was when he had marked her. Such a long time ago. And to think, maybe something could have happened today...but Jaken had to ruin it. The next time he saw the little toad....

Sesshomaru was brought out of his murderous thoughts when Brigantia spoke, he looked down at her, the question making him think for a moment. He seemed to always forget that this land was where his mother lived. He didn't truly see why she should be so afraid. There was little his mother could do, including since Brigantia was Sesshomaru's mate.

"I am sure she doesn't wish to see me." he said thoughtfully, looking up toward the sky as if she would suddenly appear in her true form. Heh, what a rediculous thought. Sesshomaru turned his attention back to Brigantia, looking into her big black eyes. "It does not matter, there is little she can do." he didn't know what he was referring to really, but for some reason Brigantia believed that her mother might show up and do something...that something he didn't truly know.

[Birdie]

She smiled. She believed him. She always would. She also looked towards the sky for a moment, thoughful. I wonder at what staeg of insanity her mind is at. Most creatures don't last very long under thiss 'blessing'. I do hope she has not harmed herself in an attempt to make the visions and the pain of others go away. she thought idly. Sad wonder showed in her eyes.

She moved her fingers so that the tips rested against his pale cheeks. She traced the thin marks that adorned his flesh there. She stood on the very tips of her toes to kiss his chin, almost playfully. She then stepped away, as if daring him to catch her. She gave a tiny smirk as she back against a tree. It was obvious she was ready to duck away if he came after her. That is, if the lord was willing to take a moment to 'play' with his mate.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru closed his eyes, paying attention to only her touch on his cheek, and the kiss to his chin. He opened his golden orbs when she began to move away from him. He watched her, a little curious and confused on why she would do such a thing. It took him a while to realize what she was doing. He had never 'played' before. So he didn't truly know how to go aroun doing it, nor did he know how without making a fool with himself.

It was an odd game, truly. He couldn't see the point of it.

All he had to do was catch her. That was easy enough right? Without making himself look like a fool, anything less then who he was, the lord of the west. He watched her as she backed against the tree, still wondering on how he could do this. How rediculous, he, Sesshomaru, playing a game of chase.

Sesshomaru stepped forwardmoving slowly at first but then in the blink of an eye he vanished, appearing right in front of Brigantia reaching out his hand to grab her waist.

She smiled sweetly up at him. The playfulness in her face never fading, but a large amount of mischief danced about in her bright eyes. She allowed herself to be caught, it was not as if she could move away from him anyway. Another game had come to mind. This one would, at least, be fun for her. She allowed her body to arch up into his. "my love." She breathed it against his neck. She licked the flesh before her, for a single moment. She then lifted her face so that her lips could meet his. Her kisses were light and feathery at first. They were meant to tease her lover. She allowed them to become hot and passionate with time. Her breath was ragged and uneven. She needed air. She parted her mouth from his for a moment gasping in an oddly feminine way. She again stepped back away from him. That mischevious glint still lurking in her eyes.

"M'Lord, you continue to look at me with those eyes." She commented, taking steps back. She was moving towards the river, her eyes never leaving his. Her silvery hair fell about her face as she allowed some of that scent, a scent that had appeared before. It had manifested on that day, the day she had become Sesshomaru's mate. Just the tiniest bit came to surge forth, to tease Sesshomaru. It was the way of a butterfly.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru didn't really understand this game that Brigantia was playing. Since the western lord was not used to such things. Of course, he had played games before, but it was when he thought the game. And they usually weren't 'games'. Though it wasn't like that he didn't like it. The demon lord like it very much. Including when she licked his neck. He never believed she had been so forward before. But it was welcome. He didn't know what she was up to, and for a moment, he had a suspicion that she was planning something. But as she kissed him, it all left him, and he didn't care any longer.

Sesshomaru was happy to return the kiss, and he watched her as she breathed in air. He expected her to continue with the kissing when she had her fill of air, but he was confused when she began to back up from him. What was she doing? Was this all apart of the game from earlier? He didn't really know, but all he did know was that he wanted her. Badly.

Sesshomaru kept his eyes on her, her words meaning little to him. Of course he was looking at her like that! What did she expects when she comes up and gives him such affection. At first he only watched her, not knowing if he should follow her or not. But as the scent reached his nose, it seemed his feet moved on their own, taking one step at a time to go to her. He couldn't find out what she was doing, what she was planning.

And really, that was the last thing on his mind.

Once he had caught up with her again she brought a hand to gently trace the marking on his face. A wide, playful smile was plastered on her face. Her eyes were full of a number of emotions, none of them something she would normally feel. Mischief and lust were among them. She stood on the very tips of her toes and caught his bottom lip in between her own giving it a small nibble. Her other hand moved up his chest to wrap around his neck. As soon as it seemed she might just stay in his arm and allow him to have free reign of her, she danced away from him. She did this a couple of times, wondering at his allowance at her escape.

She was a tease. She could not help it. That scent effected more than just Sesshomaru. It caused to her dabble in the ways of her people. Women, during that 'season' (which it was not now), would do something similar to the men (either butterfly or otherwise). Teasing only made things seem so much more fun for the women, who normally died a few months later. Though Brigantia would not die, her other half, that which is demon, still knew to do this... instinctively.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru closed his eyes, allowing her to do as she wished with himself, and he loved how forward she was when she was normally so shy. As she nibbled on his lower lip, he was about to deepen the kiss when she suddenly moved away from him again. She was teasing him. He knew at least that. And although he hadn't minded at first, now it was starting to get annoying. Every time he thought he finally had her, she moved away from him. It left him feeling, well, unfinished. He had yet to satisfy the yearning for her and the more she teased the more he wanted her.

Such was the power of females. Although he had never allowed such to take control over him, it was too late when it came to Brigantia. She might as well have a collar over his neck and a leash that forced him to always want to be with her. Maybe it was that damned mating mark. He had never known oft he consequences of it. But...were they truly consequences?

Finally it seemed that he had came to his last nerve. Although that wasn't true, He still liked the teasing, he just wished to have more of her before she danced away again. Using his oh so fast demon speed he appeared behind Brigantia, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her close to him. "This teasing of yours, my little butterfly, although fun, is starting to get old." he said, a smirk on his face all the while. He made sure not to sound irritated, in fact, he sounded amused. But even so, it was beginning to be true. Although he wanted the teasing to stop, what he didn't want to stop is how she took liberty with his person without him doing anything.

Sesshomaru wondered on what kinds of things she would do at this moment, he knew he would encourage her all the way. Of course. To show that he was still willing for whatever she decided to play, he allowed his tongue to licke from her collar bone, all the way up to her hair line behind her ear, all the while purring his content, and his eagerness to continue any game-beside her teasing dance.

She giggled at his comment. "Then you had best keep a hold of me." She turned his his arms, her fingers doing their magical workings again. His tongue moved over her body and a gasp of pleasure escaped her. She pressed herself against him. What she met was that damned metal armor. She would have frowned. Something better came to mind.

"But our games may only go far." She said this mostly as a reminder to him and another way to tease him, it was partly to herself. She may no longer be able to do is physically but she could hold their closeness to the camp and the mere fact that they were in 'public' over his head. He would not be able to have as much of her as he so desired. "Or another friend may just appear." She said with a satisfied smirk. She did not give him much of a chance to think on that for she continued with words in her own language. Though Sesshomaru would not be able to understand them the tone and lyrical way her voice whispered into his ear made it pretty obvious what she was saying. Not at all meant for the ears of anyone other than her lover. She had her revenge on his armor.

She was itching to dance away again, but he was holding on to her much to tightly to allow her to slip away. She continued herself with created a mark that looked somewhat like a bruise on his neck. It had been a series of sucking and nipping hat had created this mark. She traced the outline with her fore-finger. It would disappear soon. Damn demon healing. She moved her attention to his lips for a moment. She trailed kisses along his jaw line, down his neck. She paused, looking up at him with interest.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

The reminder of where they are ruined his mood for a moment as he thought about it. Any random demon could come upon them, and if he wasn't paying attention then something might happen. But how could he pay attnetion to the outside world when the only thing he could pay attention to was Brigantia? Every small movement, every touch, every kiss. There was no way that he could watch for intruders with his mind wishing to only focus on Brigantia.

The thoughts of such things died as Brigantia speak to him in a language he did not understand. Her own language in which he had heard on small occasions. But not like this. Her tone and having the voice so close to his ear made him shiver. Sesshomaru's eyes were barelu open, as he allowed himself to enjoy what Brigantia was doing to him. No more thoughts os intruding demons came to him. No more thoughts on where they were. It was just her, and him. And the tingling sensation left behind by her kisses.

When she had stopped he knew it instantly, and he looked down at her, not understanding why she would stop, why she was just staring at him like that. Is it where they were? If it was, then he could easily find some secluded place. Kami, he would do anything at that moment, anything to get her to continue what she was doing. Any little discomfort he would take care of just to have her not stop.

She smirked. "My love, should we not be getting back to camp soon? Jaken-sampai and surely Rin will be missing us. It is very rare that we should disapear at the same time." All the while she spoke her fingers would dance over his flesh, leaving goosebumps (as was desired) in her wake. Or in the pauses between her words she let her lips and tongue create the same sort of reaction. She glanced back up at him, the smallest of smirks playing on her pretty mouth.

She knew the effect she was having on him. Perhaps it was the purfume her body created that made her seem less like that innocent child and more like the vixen she hardly knew she was. She was no longer shivering. It was most deffiantely an odd thing, the way her emotions constantly changed. She would probably never learn control over them. In this way she was the complete opposite of her mate, who seemed to be able to keep every emotion to himself. That is, unless he attmepts to hide something from Brigantia.

She wondered for a moment what he would think of that. She also noted the hint of nervousness that had moved into her voice. "What if they come searching. Surely sempai can not keep a hold on Rin-chan for too long." She murmured this against his neck.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Oh...yeah. He kept forgetting about how close they were to camp. They had already been caught by Jaken. But everytime she touched him and kissed him he completely forgot about it. Hell, he didn't even care. They could sit down and watch the whole show if they wanted as long as she didn't have to stop. It was hard to pay attention to her words, when all his mind and body felt were the small touches of her fingers, the kisses from oh so addicting lips, and her hot breath on his neck. No woman had made him feel this way...even if there weren't many, Sesshomaru had believed he would have better control over himself in such a predicament.

"Jaken will keep them from intruding, Rin will think it nothing more then another long stroll of mine." he allowed his mind to think over his next words before he spoke again. "I could easily take us to a more secluded area if you so wished." damn, that sounded a little too servantish. If that was even a word. He was too desperate for this attention she was giving him. Sesshomaru had never had Brigantia act like this, and he would take full advantage of it!
