The half-kitsune stepped from the bus, going instantly from chilly discomfort to the humid heat of the smoggy city. He inhaled the air with a wrinkle of his nose, lips twisting into a grimace.
God, he hated this era.
Atleast being overseas for the war meant he could run through the rainforest- even if he was fighting for his life. He had been out in the open air.
He missed it.
Sighing, he ran a hand through what was left of what had once been a long mane of golden hair. Now it was nothing more than spiked tendrils upon his head, framing his fox ears.
A duffel bag was slung over his right shoulder, bright green against the golden tan he had developed during his time away. Army issue dog tags glimmered around his neck; one that was his and two that belonged to fallen comrades.
His golden gaze gleamed as he surveyed the clogged city streets, sniffing the smoggy air.
Yep..He was back,all right.
Now he just had to find his family, and hope for the best.

Uzamaki was walking with Rhee through the city looking for Deiku.Raiku and Nami were with them.Raiku was looking down while Nami was looking around town she had never been out of her era.Uzamaki was looking around too he hadn't been out of his era bt he was also looking for deiku wondering if he looked different.

Rhee was looking around hopefully as she walked next to Uzamaki, more interested in finding her brother than anything going on around them. After all, she had lived in this era for most of her life and was totally used to it.
Suddenly she saw a flash of golden hair, and a fox ear above the crowd.Then suddenly, there was Deiku looming out of the crowd heading in their direction. He looked different..but she had expected him to, and she would know him anywhere.
"Deiku!"she shreiked, breaking away from the group as she rushed to her brother, practically leaping on him in her exuberance to hug him.
Deiku laughed delightedly as Rhee rushed up to him, strong arms hugging her feircely before he swept her to his side. His gaze moved past her to Uzamaki, Raiku, and then...to Nami. That was where they fixed, intent and alert.
He was quiet and intense as he stared at her, much the way he had always been, but there was a harder look in his eye now, more jaded. Yet..there was still that glimmer of love, along with the shock of suddenly seeing her. Here.Now.

[glow=red,2,300]Nami was running up to him she was always a kid at heart.Sje then hugged him as tight as she could then after a minute she said"I missed you but I couldn't hold that muc longer."Deiku was just walking and so was Uzamaki.They were talking to each other while looking around.Nami then yelled t them both"HELLO SEE WHO IS INFRONT OF ME YOU TWO STUPID DOGS!"Nami then laughed and then looked at Deiku and then got quiet.She looked into her eyes there was so much different now that she had to learn everything.[/glow]

Deiku smiled as he felt Nami hug him tight, his arms immediately wrapping around her to hug her close for a minute.Golden eyes gleamed with warmth, a smile curving his lips as she spoke.
"I missed you too."He answered in a quiet tone. He didn't know what else to say, or how to react, and so he simply stared back at Nami, directly into her eyes.
Rhee grinned as Deiku and Nami spoke, moving from her brother's side back to Uzamaki's. Though she was delighted to see her brother, and didn't want to leave his side yet, she understood that he would need to talk to Nami now. And anyway, she was happy as long as she was next to Uzamaki-no matter what would happen and for as long as it lasted.

Nami then said"I can't believe they didn't ask you about your ears.Or did they ask abou them?"she asked.She looked at his ears and and then back to him.She was short compared to him.She then noticed."you got taller."she laughed and said"sorry I just now noticed."
Uzamaki smiled as he saw Rhee coming and then.Went back to talking to raiku"look over there................he looks funny."Raiku was aggreeing with everything UIzamaki was saying.

"They did."He answered with a shrug. "Until I 'discouraged' questions about it. I wasn't there to make friends, after all."he said, even though he had.He had made two friends, and had lost them both. He was sad, and he missed them, but he didn't want to talk about it so he didn't bring it up. Then he laughed, and grinned at Nami.
"Nah, you just got shorter."he teased, smiling at her happily.
"How does he look funny?"Rhee asked as she stopped at Uzamaki's side. Fox ears twitched as she eyed him thoughtfully, then looked back to her brother. Did he look funny?Sure,he was taller and his hair was different...But..he didn't really look all that changed.

"Ooh..Yeah..that is sorta wierd,I guess.."Rhee answered with a shrug.It didn't look all that wierd to her,but she did miss his long hair. She would bet Deiku did too,and would probably grow it out again.

Raiku and uzamaki laughed at the same.They both said at the same time"we've got to stop doing that."They slapped eaxh oither at the same time.Rhee was laughing at uzamaki and Raiku.

Rhee grinned lightly in amusement at Raiku and Uzamaki, and laughed softly. "You two are silly!"she declared, but made it sound more like a compliment than insult. And from the loving way she smiled at Uzamaki, it was clear that she would never mean it in a mean way.
After a while, Deiku took Nami's hand and tugged her in the direction of her brothers and his sister. "So..what are all of you doing here? I didn't know that any of you could time hop..and I really didn't expect you all to show up here."He said, but it was obvious he was glad they had.
