Okami let the cold water run on his legs. He had done so much running as of late and was feeling the pain afterward. He noted to himself that it was good to push on what he loved to do. He would probably be able to run faster. "No pain no game."Okami said cheerfully to himself.
He then smelled something. 'What is it? Cat? No...Human, maybe half. Dog? Yes. What?!' Okami quickly glanced around. He couldn't see the half demon, but he could smell him and he was close. Okami boldly said, "Come out, Half dog, I know your there!"

Inuyasha wasn't having the best of days. Kagome had left without his permission, AGAIN!! Shippo won't stop bugging the hell out of him and Miroku and Sango weren't helping much either. Today was just not his day. Instead of just moping in his usual tree, (Shippo had learned to bug him there, too) he found himself wandering in any random place. He would return. He knew he had a few days till Kagome came back. Until then they wouldn't try and find him. Good.
While he stomped around he truly wasn't paying attention to where he was going. If he had, the last thing he would be doing would be to go in the direction of where another person was. Suddenly he was hearing someone speak. His ears perked up at the voice as he paused in his step. Wait, by the way he said it the stranger made it seem as if he was hiding! Why would he hide from someone like him? He wasn't scared! He hadn't even known he was there. With a small huff and arms crossed he revealed himself, even when he hadn't been hiding in the first place. Great, another wolf it seemed. He hated wolves. They were stupid and useless wannabe's in his eyes. "Feh," he began with his usual way of showing his annoyance. "I wasn't trying to hide if that was what you were thinking, wolf."

Okami glanced at the half demon. "Maybe that was what I thought you were doing." He smirked at himself, 'This half demon has an attitude, probably due to his friends. He's lucky.' "Did you wander off too far from your friends, half dog?" Why was he playing with this half demon? He should still be able to relax after his run, but he seemed a little tense. What was with himself today? It going to be a newmoon tonight and he had to be ready."By the way," he asked, testing to see if the half demon payed attention to the night sky and to see if he would answer, "Do you know what moon it is tonight?"

Stupid wolves and their stupid ways of annoying him. They always seemed to do that, didn't they? He glared at the wolf, his arms crossing over his chest as he kept a wary eye on him. "No, I did not wander too far from my friends, baka!" he growled his reply already wanting to punch the guy in the face. How could he wander? He did not wander. No wander!! Inuyasha kept most of his anger to himself, although he still had that rather ficious glare. Normall saved for a certain other wolf.
Inuyasha's glare was brought short with the wolves question. He fumbled for a moment, surprised by what he was asking, and for a moment he did not understand why he was asking about the moon. What the hell did the moon matter in anything? "The...the moon...?" he asked cautiously as he tried to think back on it. Okay, last night the moon was...eh, it was...and so this night it would be...
Dammit! He forgot! No, oh no, he could not allow this wolf to get the better hand just because he didn't know. "Of course I know!" he huffed, keeping his arms crossed as he looked at the wolf with a fake intelligent look as he kept himself from looking like an idiot. It was at that time he realized why the wolf had asked such a question. The moon. His 'time of the night'. He cursed in his head but did not allow any of his annoyance of himself show through. He was normally good at keeping up with the moon cycles. It seemed the disapearance of Kagome left him distracted.

The way half demon's face was, the way he acted was just like he would act in the time that was to come. But in Okami's position it was twice a month that it happens. This half demon was going to be human tonight and Okami was going to let his full demon form take over. But tonight Okami was gong to try something he had never done before, even if it would screw up this cycle he was in already, he didn't care.
Okami got up and moved onto the bank. He was not finished with the half dog yet. "I am not a full wolf demon, half dog, you should of known this when you came upon me." Okami smiled.''But I envy you.'' Okami said letting his smile drop as he looked at the half demon. "Tell me what it is like to have friends, half dog?"

Inuyasha continued to be stubborn about the whole ordeal. How could he not? There was no way he could act any differently to a complete stranger. His amber eyes never leaving the wolf as he moved toward the bank. His words struck a cord and his jaw clenched for a moment as he held back his own remarks. The sudden confession of envy, however, took him by surprise. Envied him? Why? What reason was this wolf saying he envied him? Inuyasha found this very suspicious. The thought of this wolf 'opening up' didn't fit in the things he knew how to handle, or understand.
Inuyasha let out a small growl at his question. "Stop calling me a half dog! My name is Inuyasha, you baka!" he growled out angrily pointing at himself with his thumb as if the wolf/whatever (he didn't care to figure out) didn't know specifically who he was referring to. Even if he hadn't added in the name calling Inuyasha wasn't sure on how he would answer. He could go very deep in what it was like to have friends. The whole 'family' thing. But for someone he didn't know, and was starting to dislike, why would he do something like that?

"Well Inuyahsa,'' Okami said, giving glace to the half demon and then looked away, ''I'm sorry to actually get you rowled up for no reason. I just haven't been feeling like myself.'' Okami continued in his mind, 'Due to the wolf demon blood, since it boils with excitement every new moon, and,' "I don't think you should be in miles of me tonight,'' he then gave a small smirk, ''unless your not afraid[/u].''[/color]
'Typical, this half demon, Inuyahsa, is not going to answer me'. Okami thought as his jaw tightened. What was this 'Inuyasha ' hiding, other than information about his friends and his night? Okami was determined to find out before he left the half dog demon, but Inuyahsa was probably going to be stubborn about it .

Inuyasha didn't really care about the name calling. But if he didn't make a fuss about it he probably wouldn't stop calling him that. It was also his excuse so he didn't have to answer Okami's question about friends. He didn't exactly know how to answer, really. Well, at least he apologized. Even so Inuyasha's annoyed face did not fall. He was too used to the stubborn face to just let it fall. He kept his arms crossed as he looked at Okami. He was still wary, and it would take a lot to allow those arms to uncross. "Not afraid of what?" he asked, making sure to give in the sense of confidence so the wolf knew that he wouldn't be afraid, no matter what it was.

Okami's eyes seem to glow. "A monster will come tonight.'' 'If I could call my huge demon wolf form a monster. Only once did it let down its guard down on another half demon, one he could trust...
No he couldn't think of her now, he had to stay focus. Still he didn't know what it would do to a half demon about to go human and it would take guts to be near me this night. "I don't know what it will do, if it meets up with you."
