Aftermath part 2 (Aiko & Sesshomaru)

[Naraku]

As Koga appears before him Ryuukotsusei mouth open as the staic erupts from his mouth into a ball seeming to grow as it leaves his mouth. The blast itself was powerful enough that in his human form it pushed him back, but he clutches his feet into the rocks to hold himself up. But with his ribs seemingly broke, the force of releasing tsuch an attack and its on force causes him to fall onto his hands and knees. Ryuukotsusei fangs gritting together as blood slips through the fangs. 'This Has to end soon, I have substaned to much during that kick, but how.... their is something about him, something adding to his own aura, but what'

[ooc: I think we have to wrap this up in our next posts, according to the rules on fighting.]

Koga was approaching for the attack, and then he was not. He was launched backwards forcefully, and he felt something sting sharply into his chest. Then the pain exploded across his chest, radiating from the point of the electricity’s entrance, and every muscle in the wolf demon’s body jerked as he was flung back, and then he was on his spine and shoulders, and there was a duller pain that grew sharper that jarred through his bones and rattled his teeth. Every part of him was jerking and flailing as pain, agonizing, all-conquering pain, flung away his consciousness for a second, and then his vision faded.

It was only a heartbeat, but an agonizingly slow one, that brought Koga back.

Every part of him ached and screamed with protest, but he’d learned to ignore his body’s screams long ago. He stood, albeit a little shakily, then winced as his lacerated muscles stung him. He could feel wear his skin was peeled back on his shoulders by the cold, waterlogged air that rushed in on him.

All of this he perceived in the five seconds since he had been attacked. But to him, these five seconds lasted too long, much too long for a fight.

Koga saw that Ryuukotsusei was suffering as well, for the dragon demon was doubled over and spewing blood that dropped from between his fangs in red gobbets. His muscles still shrieking against the iron that was his willpower, the wolf demon flung himself forward again, before an unruly body could get the better of him, and kicked out at his opponent, aiming for the jaw this time.

[ooc: I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been trying to stylistically experiment with my fight-writing. Tell me what you think, if you have an opinion.]

[Naraku]

OCC: Your fighting is good, though if you want my opinion, I think you be able to dodge more, mainly sense you are much faster then me, But you are doing great. Now I don't know the rules of fighting so i will leave all that up to you.))

Ryuukotsusei was paying no mind to Koga thinking the lightning blast would of made him unconsious. The kick strikes him, onstruck as he causes him to flip back and again, seemingly way to strong for any wolf demon should ever be able to kick.

Ryuu flips into the air landing onto his hands and knees, his claws digging into to rocks.
'I am still to weak, no.... something is helping him, but what.' As he begins thinking the shards he had gotten and how they had quicken his healing, and made his sword more powerful. 'He must have shards himself, most likly in his legs, That would explain alot.'

'I would be able to crush him if I use my full power and show my true self. but then everyone would be in danger.' Ryuu looks up at him before moving up and wipes the blood from his mouth. "So Koga, I would assume you have Jewel shards in your legs."

[Aiko]

Koga felt his foot connect with his target, followed by a rush of satisfaction as his opponent went flying. The wolf demon dropped his foot and returned to a ready stance, hands up and in fists, and kept his eyes on the dragon demon as he flipped over in midair to land on his claws. Pangs went through Koga’s arm and side, but he ignored the pain, locking his jaw in a defiant snarl. He watched alertly as Ryuukotsusei pushed himself up and wiped away the blood, and was about to attack when the dragon demon posed his comment.

Balancing on his toes, Koga hesitated, considering another attack for a moment before dropping to the balls of his feet. How did he figure it out? his pain-hazy mind wondered. Can he sense jewel shards or something? Still posed to fight, and ready to react if Ryuukotsusei continued the fight, the wolf demon replied, “Yeah. What of them?” Antsy, he demanded, “Well, are we gonna fight or not?”

[Naraku]

He pushes himself up onto his feet as he looks back. 'I cannot play any more of these games, if he wishes to continue then I must immoblize him.' He reaches his left hand onto the hilt of his blade grabbing ahold of it. "Maybe I should ask you myself, Back down or I will be forced to fight in my true form." As he would speak darkness begins to flow around him seemingly morbidly evil.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Merodi stared at the entrance to the cave, squinting her eyes as if she would suddenly have the power to see past the cascade of water. Some of the wolves seemed restless. Could they feel what was going on? The fight between her rescuer and her mate?

Merodi frowned, finding herself anxious and worried and leaning from one side to the other, her hands fidgeting. She feared of what could happen. She imagined the blood, the pain, the whole conflict and felt herself get woozy. She stressed over what could happen, could they kill each other!? She gasped, her body suddenly in a fit of shivers. Were they killing each other really?! Was there blood all over the ground, how bad was Koga hurt!?

The thoughts that ran through her mind got more persistant and even more real before a sharp pain in her stomach made her double over. She closed her eyes, trying to control the pain. She whimpered, and when that wasn't enough to express her pain she whined, and when that didn't seem good enough, she voiced her pain louder, getting the attention of some of her concerned pack members. One of them came to the deer's side, trying to comfort her. "Sister, sister what's wrong?" She pushed him away, shocking him as she continued to whine and hold her stomach.

The wolf demon that came to Merodi's side began to panic, he stood up, hopping from one foot to the other before he ran off and out of the waterfall. Probably not the best idea to intervene in Koga's fight, but it's not like he could do anything for his sister. He winced, seeing the injuries they had inflicted on each other before he spoke. "Koga! It's Merodi, something's wrong! She's in pain!"

[Aiko]

There was something sickening about the aura of darkness that was accumulating around Ryuukotsusei’s now-standing form. An intruding finger of nervousness swept down Koga’s spine, in spite of his defiance of such things as fear. Something seemed profoundly wrong and impure about the dragon demon now, even if the wolf demon couldn’t place precisely what that might be; he just felt it in that animal, instinctive sense of his. But he would never give up the fight! He would—

--apparently be interrupted as one of his wolf demons came crashing through the waterfall behind him.

Koga didn’t want to take his eyes off the dragon demon’s form, worried as he was about the attack, but as soon as Merodi’s name was mentioned, the deer demon’s mate forsook the traditions of fighting to wheel around on his own demon, eyes flashing with anxiety. He took a step back towards the cave, then whipped back towards Ryuukotsusei, his lips parted to snarl between clenched teeth, “This fight is over.” Then, trusting his wolf demons to take care of the dragon if he tried to stay on their land, Koga bounded through the waterfall and was at Merodi’s side, barely wet from the speed at which he’d gotten to his mate.

The deer demon was holding her stomach and whimpering. Alarm lodged itself in Koga’s throat as he crouched beside his mate. He reached out to touch her gently on the arm. “Merodi?” He tried to say her name, but it got stuck somewhere behind that lump in his throat, and his voice came out in a strangely high pitch. He noticed that his hand that touched her was trembling, and not because Merodi was shaking. Koga withdrew his hand, pressing both his hands, now in fists, against the stone floor.

He could fight a hundred human warriors. He would rip the heads off a thousand demons. He would kill a million dragons for the sake of his beloved mate. But whatever was hurting her now was not something he knew how to fight or rip or kill. A noncommittal whine began in his throat as he stared, not blinking, at Merodi’s pained face. Wasn’t there something he could do? Wasn’t there something? There had to be something! No, there was nothing! What could he possibly do? He didn’t know! There had to be something! Panic chased thoughts in frantic circles around what seemed to be an empty skull.

[Naraku]

He readies himself watching the wolf tense, but as soon as the other wolf came out and delivered the news his direction had slightly been shifted, he glanced back towards this..Koga. 'Will He fight or will he use his brain and go back in..' the wolf then answered his own thougth with giving a snarl. Ryuu then lightly whispers, which causes the darkness around him to seem to fade. "Quieten Amakage, There is nothing here for you."

Ryuukotsusei takes his blade and sheaths it. Without and other distractions he moves and presses against a rock as he snaps his own ribs back into place. He then gets up looking around seeing some of the wolvies who have been watching their fight. Ryuu now sitting onto the rock as he rest gathering more energy before he ran off, seemingly that this certian area was just full of strong demons, and he hate to still be weak and come across another.

He places his hands up gently rubbing his temples as he begins to ponder. "I took this walk so i can find allies in this land but thats work out well, I see more trouble then anything, I am much to young for this type of job...." He begins thinking back about his father before remembering how is father snaps and became obessed with taking down the Dog Demon of these lands. His father left both him and his mother, and in the end coming here he finds out that his father found a human he fell in love with." He begin to lightly growl as that thought ponders into him. ' I wish i could of killed him with my bare hands, how dare him, to leave my mother and our people.'

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Merodi opened her eyes, looking up at Koga. She wrapped her arms around him, hugging him tightly. The pain was horrible and she whimpered each time the pain worsened. Her grip would tighten and loosen depending on the amount of pain that coarsed through her abdomen. "It hurts, it hurts...make it stop! Why won't it stop?" she whined and closed her eyes again, trying to soothe her stomache with deep breathing.

Slowly the pain began to dissipate and she began to relax, her grip on Koga loosening as she kept her eyes closed. Exhausted her body was limp as she leaned against her mate. She sighed, falling asleep against him

[ooc: Out of curiosity, are we planning to wrap this up soon?]

When Merodi wrapped her arms around him, Koga did the same, even though his limbs were still trembling. Even though the strength of the deer demon’s grip faltered, the wolf demon’s grasp only tightened, like he wished he could transfer whatever pain was torturing her body into his. As it was, he could do nothing but whine that dog-like whine, waiting, feeling helpless as his demons crouched nearby, their leader’s anxiety reflected in their wide eyes. It would stop, he wanted to say. It had to stop. It must stop! Why wouldn’t it stop, though? Couldn’t somebody make it stop? It had to stop! Of course, he said none of this, since even he knew all this would have been of no use.

Eventually, the deer demon relaxed in his arms, but Koga still held her now-sleeping form. It seemed poor Merodi had exhausted herself into sleeping. Slowly, one of Koga’s hands moved to pet the auburn hair on the back of his mate’s head, and he dropped his neck so his forehead rested against the top of her head. Oh, Merodi, his heart moaned. What was wrong with her?

One wolf demon slowly came forward from those assembled and whispered, “Koga? How is our pack sister? Is she--” He fell silent and shrank back as Koga’s head snapped around and he growled. The sound was that of a cornered, wounded animal. After a moment, the leader of the tribe dropped his head back on Merodi’s. It was another moment before he muttered, “Make sure that dragon demon gets off our land.” Himself, he would sit here with his mate as long as she slept, for there was nothing else he could do for her.

((Probably. We can end the thread, start a new one where tempa is born (she is a tad late) or we could have a little fun and do some time traveling to have some moments with her being pregnant in this thread, up to you.))

Merodi slept, lured in by the sound of a flute. A short lullaby. Wanting and frantic it seemed to her and she listened to it intently. Something about it was familiar, and important. There was no music, no lyrics to fit with the lullaby and that only seemed all the more strange. A dream she's never had before. She was in a field of white, the music notes almost visible as it lead a trail across the horizon. Merodi followed it, making her way through the white forms surrounding her. The closer she got to the music, the white around her began to change. It began to turn red, forming around her like a liquid but she ignored it, only the song was important.

The song stopped, and a figure began to appear, forming itself from the red on the ground, A large deer stood before her, eyes gleaming and the top half of a deer's skull placed on it's head as a mask. It stared at her before opening it's mouth and letting out a loud roar. Through it's mouth red smoke appeared, moving as if a snake around her. Outlines of deer began to appear in the smoke and she fell to her knees, knowing this figure and the significance of it...

[Naraku]

He finally climbs back up to his feet as he looks around. 'This is pointless, none of these demons would listen, I never been good at ralleing and this stubburn ones doesn't make this any easier. I will just have to watch these lands with an invisible hand it seems, or these pointless battles will only continue.' he looks down towards his blade as he begins to walk. He couldn't explain it, but his own thoughts has become clouded and anger more easily ever since he pick up this accursed blade. Ryuukotsusei looks around as he begins to think on where on this land he should search next.
