Kenta sighed as he sat down on a rock near the river, watching the ripples of the water from the current. He'd left the vilalge to get a breathe,r eh'd head back within the hour or so, he knew he might get in trouble for slacking, btu he needed soem space. He would have to get use to being with so many people again, before Crom, he ahd no one since he was only 11 to 12 years old!
His ears perked and he lifte dhsi head when he heard a noise near by. He scrambled to his feet and looked around, sniffing the air for the other's scent.

Kaida giggled as the young wolf hanyou scambled to his feet. She knew her giggle gave her away so she said "Guess you found me" she jumped off the branch of a tall oak tree and landed about five meters away from him. She had this childish smile on her face and she was in a relaxed position.

Kenta quickly turned to the other demon, unconsiosu;ly growling until he saw the girl. He stoped and stood straight. "Who are you? And why were you spying on me?" He asked, not in a hard of cold tone, but a simple, curious tone.

Kenta blinked. "Oh." He looke dupa t the trees for a moment before grabbing his tow swords and strapped them to the belt Crom had given him.
Kenta wore thin leather armour, it wasn't very heavy, and was flexible enough for Kenta to move in easy enough.
"Should I leave you alone then?" He asked.
(If youre confused as to why he's wearing these things, you'll have to read the threads me and Glexen do.)

Kaida ran towars the wolf hanyou and grabbed his arm gentaly "You gotta go?" she askd in a winey kind of voice "Dont you want to join me at least. Trust me its alot of fun!" she said still holding onto his arm.

Kenta blinke din surprise as the girl clung to him. "Um... dosn't the fact I'm a hanyou, bother you?" He asked slowly. Every other dmeon he met always snarled at him, called him a half-breed and a mongrel and either chased him of for tried to kill him... what was this girl up to?
(Really? Corm's people came form england or soemwher eup that way, and Kenta's learning form Crom hwo to use a short sword and long sword)

"Yep-" she stoped walking as she looked up at the tree she was in before. Her spear was stuck in the side of the tree and around where the spear pentrated the tree, it was frozen. "Whoops" she said letting go of his hand and pulling out her spear "Come on jump up" she said smiling.

Kenta blinekd at the weapon. "Wow, nice spear." He commented, jumpign into the tree rather easily. He then began grabbing at branches to help him climb higher into the canopy of the tree.

She jumped up after him and once she and he where eye to eye she said "Im Kaida and Im totaly going to beat you to the top" and with that she was off. She bounced of the branch she was just on and while in the air she grabed hold of a branch near by. She swong around the branch ,her hands still holding onto the branch, and when she let go she flew upward and landed onto a new ,higher, branch. With that she was off to get to the top.

Kenta chuckled at the challenge an dbegna to also race tot eh top, he jumped on branches to give him more lift. "My name's Kenta." He called as he continued to climb, clawing a tthe tree to try and go faster and higher.

It felt like the tree wouldnt stop or it was growing as they climbed it. She jumped from one branch to the next to the next. Her energy felt like it would never end but soon enough the top came and she stood, trying to keep her balance, on a flimsy branch. "How old are you? I mean like not how you look but how old?" she asked him when he got up.

Kenta sihged as he also reached the top, but the youkai dragon finished first, he sat on one of the more stable branches. "Very young, I'm 14 in human years..."
