Sesshomaru stopped walking when he could smell Naraku. He turned his head, looking up in the air and seeing Kagura and Kanna. He saw the attack upon the girl and automatically knew the reason for such a thing. He moved with great speed, jumping into the air and drawing his blad as he came upon them flying in Kagura's feather. He planned to strike them down.

"Damn!" Kagura curse as she saw Sesshomaru aiming for her. Quickly she flashed her fan calling out "Dance of Blades!" as gusts of air targeted not only Sesshomaru but Cross as well. The gusts sent out to hurt Cross hit her this time, cutting into her back. She shieked in pai as she curled into a position where her chin touched her knees. The blood on her back ran down quickly. Who's there? she woundered Why didnt they attack again?

Sesshomaru blocked it with his sword before he landed on the ground. His eyes narrowed and he swiped his sword through the air, sending a great rush of energy toward them. In the meantime he turned his attention toward the Cross. "Go for cover." he wasn't sure how much his demand got. She was blind after all. But if she had survived this long she should be able to figure it out. Going into the castle would be the best thing.

Cross nodded when she hear the lords voice telling her to get to cover. She knew to her left were the woods, not such a great place to go when being attacked so she ran to her right, where his castle was. She was unsure if he'll let her live after going into his castle but this was the safest place, for now.
Kanna used her mirror to absorbe the attack from Sesshomaru, keeping it in there for later. Kagura on the other hand used her fan using Dance of Blades once more. Why did Sesshomaru have to interfear! He doesnt care for mortals, why doesnt he let me kill he!? she thought as she watched her attack aim for him.

Sesshomaru dodged the attack, jumping to the side as his golden eyes narrowed and he glared up at the two flying figures. Keeping his sword ready he watched them, ready for the next attack. Either way their mission had failed.

"Dance of the Dragon!" Kagura's last attack before she flew off Damn! If only he wasnt there I could have gotten a new shard! she thought looking back at Sesshomaru as she flew off.
Cross sat not inside, nor outside of the caslte. She had opened up the door but dint go in but sat where the door would be if it where closed. The wounds on her back stung like someone has thrown hot stones onto her back.

Sesshomaru watched them leave. He sheathed his sword when they were out of sight, turning away as he walked toward the entrance of the castle. He stopped in front of the doors, looking down at her. "You have them, don't you? Give them to me, they are worthless in your hands."

"What?" she breathed out "What were those people after?" she asked him as she wrapped her arms around her stomage. The pain seemed to be getting worse as she sat there.

"The jewel shard. You must have it. Why else would they attack someone so insignificant?" Sesshomaru couldn't believe she could be so clueless. He only saved her so they couldn't get what they wanted. If he didn't care of what they got he would have allowed them to kill her.

"The Shikon shards?" she was suprised she even knew that. "I dont have any. Why would... I mean.... I don't have any shards" she said inoccently and confused.

Cross just sat there, trying to figure out where the shards might be. She doesnt have them visible otherwise alot more demons would be attacking her. "But I never found any shards beofre, if I did I would know... but I dont..."

Sesshomaru said nothing, continuing to stare down at the girl. "You do have them though." he said. Maybe someone put them in her? But who would do that?

Cross sat there, her head in the direstiion that made it look like she was looking down at his feet. She bit her lip as the pain rushed around on her back. She screamed from the pain as it felt like being stabbed by a million needles all at once. Finally she fell to the ground, fainted from loss of blood.

Sesshomaru stared at her fallen form for a moment. He scoffed, eyes narrowed as he turned away from her, completely unconcerned. Even so, he ordered a gaurd to take her inside and put her in some random room to stay. If she died, he could take the jewel shards from her even if that means cutting up that disgusting body. If she stayed alive, he would have to figure out where they were without doing too far. Well, unless she decided to disrespect him again. Then it would be fine.
