When Darkness Meets Purity

[Naraku]

It was a night op then new moon as Hiroshi started his hunt. He tracked the scent of a bleeding woman to an open field. Once there he slowly moved about finding the woman and seeing she was dying, what looked to be a cut half through her neck.
Hiroshi quickly looked around knowing this woman was a sacrifice, for a trap to lure him here. Yet before he could move countless samurai had leaped from the trees and surrond him.

Hiroshi lightly hissed as he readied his claws not even waiting for them to attack as he leaps and rips into the first one. He was at a large disadvatage due to not having any weapons. As the other ran towards him he leaps up and around another biting into his neck, and quickly drinking from him. About this time one succeded into stabbing into him doing a seruious slash through his chest. Hiroshi then drops the body turning to the one with the sword within him and rips him into two from his waist with his claws. Leaving the sword within him he quickly attacked and killed the last two. Within moments they was all dead and Hiroshi slide the blade from him before heading back.

He drew near the cave he was staying in and the wolf encampment, as his bleeding continues. He stopped at a nearby white oak leaning against it as he slid down it and looking up into the sky. He was becoming far to weak to continue walking as he continue to bleed. He could only think of how careless he gotten, not thinking people in this area would so quickly adapt to him, yet they most likly had to deal with blood sucking demons, and thought thats what he was, so thinking they wouldn't find away to stop him was way too careless. He lightly laughed at himself before closing his eyes.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

The blood was the first thing the two females noticed. The deer female looked up, sniffing the air warily while the other, the small deer/wolf girl was more curious. They had been playing in the meadow, and suddenly the play had been paused. Tense, Merodi stared off into the distance, ears moving quickly to take in any sounds.

"What's that smell mommy?" the little girl asked, tugging on her mother's skirt. Merodi smiled. "It's nothing. But I'm going to go check it out. You stay here, understand?" Tempa pouted, staring up at her mother. "You understand?" her mother repeated, saying it more sternly. The girl's pout increased and she stomped her foot. "I don't wanna!"

"You're staying." A stern look and a silent warning had Tempa whining, but sitting down as her mother left her side. She tried to wait, she really did. She didn't want to get in trouble. But every child gets impatient. And after three minutes she couldn't stay still anymore. Soon she was following her mother and the scent that she just didn't know what it was.

Merodi made her way through the area, following the scent of blood. She probably shouldn't be investigating on her own. Something might go wrong. She frowned, but continued onward, coming to the caves and slowly came to the entrance, looking inside. The blood was the only thing she could smell. And she assumed who'd be in the caves. "Hiroshi?" she called out, stepping further in.

[Naraku]

Hiroshi could ear his name called out to him, yet he didn't move, He was not far from the cave, almost at the exiting of the forest towards the cave he still sat against the tree. A light snicker came from him though, which would of been heard by anyone close enough with good ears, as he laughed once again at himself.
"I lost more blood then I gain... this is just pitiful." His eyes slowly open as his clothing was covered in a mixc between his blood and that of the five who attacked him. His eyes slowly shifting upwards as he sees the deer demon in the distance. "Even worse, when I am being looked for because of my condition."
His words may or may not of carried but the sound of his voice would have been enough to tell where he was.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Merodi jumped when hearing the voice. She sniffed, and was amazed she didn't catch onto the fresh scent of blood. Slightly emberassed of her horrible sense of smell, she followed the voice and knew who it was. Because of this fault, Tempa got there first.

The little girl walked walked up to him, a finger in her mouth and she stared at the red covered Hiroshi. She tilted her head to the side, pointed ears twitching slightly and a small noise escaping her before she spoke, "What are you doing? What is that smell? Why are you red?"

[Naraku]

He smiles up to her as his eyes meet Tempa's. "And it seems you will be the one to save me this time." He places his hand onto the tree and begins forcing himself up. Oddly before not having the strength to do so. "Now, I was out trying to feed, it just seem I wasn't very sucessful." He moves to step forward and almost stumbles, yet catches himself. 'These wounds I can live with, this lack of blood I cannot.' Almost as the thougth processes his eyes close and he becomes still.

Within a few seconds his eyes reopen, now glowing a blood red. His mind slowly shutting to the rest of the world as his body now craved only for blood. His red glowing eyes quickly moves down towards little Tempa standing before him, and Meordi still coming towards them, yet at the time to far to do anything. His fangs grew out quickly as he moves down towards her yet froze once his eyes met with Tempa's. A calming came over him as he just stood there, even the glow of his eyes slowly faded as he was knealt down beside her.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Tempa jumped in alarm as he suddenly came toward her, wide eyed at the growing red hue in his eyes. She frowned, staring at him. What was he trying to do? She was confused and didn't understand why he was acting strange. She moved closer, placing her hand on the rest spot on his chest. She wanted to know what it was, and wanted to touch it.

[Naraku]

"I really believe, you will be my strongest oppenont in life." He lightly whispers down to her with a smile. Hiroshi eyes flicker up towards her mother who had now gotten to them. His eyes was now back to normal. "Seems I have company, and here I am in such a mess." He smiles with the light sarcasim he gave. "Hope I didn't make anyone worry to much." His eyes then move back down towards Tempa. "That reminds me little one, how you treating the doll I made for you?"

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Tempa stared at him, confused. "Eh?" she asked, looking down at her hands where she had touched him. Her hands were stained red and she sniffed it. That was the smell she had followed. This was the smell, but what was it? With Hiroshi distracted with her mother, she placed her red covered hands on his face, smearing it on her cheeks.

"Tempa!" Merodi scolded, going up and grabbing the girl's hands from her face. "I told you to stay!" she picked up the girl, placing her on her hip as she looked toward Hiroshi. "The doll? She continued to chew on it until it was ripped to pieces." Tempa giggled, as if proud of it. She placed her fingers in her mouth and her mother scolded her, since her hands were still bloody. "All that's left is the bandana."in which Merodi had attached to her waist.

[Naraku]

He smiles as he climbs to his feet. "Well Is it repairible, or we just needing a new toy now Tempa?" He staggered about as his eyes focused between the two.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

"New toy, new toy!" she declared, trying to put her hands in her mouth again but her mother wouldn't let her. Merodi sighed, frowning as she looked at Hiroshi's wound. "What happened to you?"

[Naraku]

"Seems humans here, got smarter. They killed a a girl, to lure me there, with the scent of blood then amushed me. Can't believe I was fooled by something so obvious." He places his hand on the back of his head. "Where the closest place to clean myself."

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Killed? Blood? Tempa frowned. Those were negative words! The little girl held onto her mother as she was adjusted on the older woman's hip. "A river near the meadow." she said, pointing in the direction. Knowing her mother was distracted, Tempa placed her fingers in her mouth again.

[Naraku]

He smiles back down towards Tempa. "Well how bout we continue this talk there, or once I remove this blood from me."

[Lord Sesshomaru]

"Eh?" Tempa repeated. Merodi frowned. "I was just about to take her back."

[Naraku]

"Thats fine, Sorry to trouble you." He then looks down towards Tempa. "Night little one." Hiroshi then begins staggering towards the river, and past the two of them.
