Akiho laughed with a smile. His time was pretty cool. It had electronics, and a bunch of stuff that makes things these people work so hard on quite easy. He listened to her seak while spraying some ore cleaner onto the floor and scrubbing it down. "It's cleaner. Mixed with some chemicals that are used for cleaning. It's pretty helpful, acctually." he said. He sprayed some over where Yoko was cleaning so she wouldn't have to work so hard. "There, that should make it more easier." he said once he'd sprayed it.

She turned her head when she heard his laugh fill the air. Her light sapphire eyes watched as a smile etched upon her face causing her to do the same. His masculine voice was heard and she listened to every tone that he made. “Cleaner huh.” She said as she watched him spray some where she was cleaning. Her hands moved in a circular motion as she scrubbed the floor and this time it was a lot easier than before. “Wow Akiho, this stuff works great!” She said as her chest began to vibrate with a light laugh. She continued to do the floor until she was satisfied with it and slowly stood.
His time, it sounded just so interesting and each time they talked about it, it just made her want to visit it more. She wiped off her legs before she walked over to her bag and placed the cloth in it. “So, what do you want to do now?” She asked as she looked at the pit in the middle of the floor where the fire would go once they got it started. Her gaze turned from Akiho to the door as she thought that she heard someone coming.

Akiho helped out Yoko cleaning up the floor. When they were done, he put away the cleaner and look around the room, it looked a whole lot better now. His brown eyes turned to Yoko as she spoke. "Not sure, what do you want to do?" he responded. He didn't really know what there was to do in this world, when he was bored in his time, he'd just grab his gameboy. But now, he guessed he'd have to get use to something a little less low tech. Oh well, it was better if he put it down and did something else any ways. Right now, at least until he got back to his time, he'd just have to find something to do here. He thought, still nothing, so he awaited Yoko's response.

The sun was beginning to rise closer towards the middle of the sky as the time began to come around noon. The morning had been slightly chilled but as time went on it got warmer. A chilling gale swept across the lands and blew into the little hut. She shivered but no one could notice unless they were hugging her. Her attention turned from the cold and to Akiho as his voice was heard. “Well, what did we come here in the first place for?” She asked as she grabbed her money bag and looked inside. She was a little short on money but that is when her old ways with Ken-Ichi would come in. “But I am a little low on cash…” Her gaze turned from the money back to a sleeping ferret on the floor. Her coral hued lips turned into a conniving grin. “Looks like we might have to do things the old way.” She hated to steal, her family had taught her how before she had left to find the demon that took her memories and left these wounds on her. She grabbed her bags and looked to Akiho again. “Well, I guess we could go out and get supplies like we had originally planned.” She walked towards the door and waited for Akiho as Ken-Ichi jumped up on her shoulder.

His short brown hair blew as the chilling air blew past. Not seriously bothering him though, he ajusted his leather jacket and spoke. "This time really is a lot different from mine." her grinned at her. Stealing was against the rules where he was from, year 2007 was his time. He walked tword the door after Yoko. "S'pose we should." he said. He stopped beside her and looked out at the village, everything was so simple here. No 6 or 7 story buildings, no towers, even houses were lit by candle. But, still, there was something about this life style he kind of liked better than his 'high teck' civilization. He looked at Yoko and spoke again. "Let's go, then." he said with a slight smile.

When he spoke she turned her head and listened. “I suppose that it would be.” She laughed lightly and looked as Ken-Ichi was just itching to leave this place. She walked out and waited for Akiho out side of the hut. She stood beside him, scanning the weary villagers until she had found a stand that would be easy to get some food and water from. When he spoke again she grinned. “I have a plan.” She said as she looked down at Ken-Ichi. He really wouldn’t do a great deal in this plot of hers but he would have to do. “See that stand there?” She questioned as she pointed up towards it. A few villagers looked at her and gave her a dirty look but she just ignored them.
“It has both food and water…you will distract the man while I tie his ankle to the stand. When I am finished Ken-Ichi will rub on your leg and I will walk by and when I come at your side I will grab the food and you can grab the water. Ken-Ichi will run ahead of us to make sure we can find a way out so we don’t get caught.” In her head this was such a good plan but it would just take time to make sure that things went well…and she really hoped that they did.

He listened to her carefully. He'd never really stolen something before, but there was a first for everything. Besides, neither of them had too much money with them. Excpecially Akiho, since he'd come from a completly different time. And the currencies weren't the same anymore. But he did work for a little bit before he'd met Yoko, so he had a little bit of cash for here. He grinned after she'd finnished.
"Well, I don't have much of a past of theft, but I suppose there's a first for everything. Besides, it seems easy enough to follow. Let's go." he said. He removed his jacket so he'd look a little less suspisious and set it near the hut they were staying at. He walked forward to the stand, a calm look on his face, just like any other villager. And, just as she had intended, he distracted him. At first, he acted as though he was browsing among the items. Then, he started asking questions, such as "What type of food is this?" and How much is this?
He was begging to run out of questions, he hoped she wouldn't take too much longer. He continued to question him, but not so much that he bothered the guy too much. If he irritated him enough to kick him out, then their chance was blown. He waited for the sign patiently, or at least as patient as he could.

She laughed lightly. “Well, I don’t remember my past but I think I might have been a thief.” She watched as he went and distracted the man. Lucky for her he was wearing pants so he would not feel the rope around his ankle. She walked past the stand, not paying attention to Akiho or anyone else for that matter. When she was out of sight she went down an alley way and came back beside of the stand. She pulled some rope out of her pocket and began to tie the mans feet together. She motioned for Ken-Ichi to go and rub Akiho’s leg and he did as he was told.
Afterwards she stood up and walked to the side of Akiho. Ken-Ichi began to run off as she heard villagers scream. When the man had turned his head to see what the commotion was about she grabbed a basket of food and began to run. She really hoped that Akiho got the water. She ran down the alley that she had come as she heard the man screaming thief. When she was out of the village she looked behind her and saw Ken-Ichi running towards her, now she would just have to wait for Akiho.

Akiho felt Ken-Ichi brush his fur apon his leg and, as quickly as he could, grabbed some of the water and took off. Yoko was ahead of him some, but it didn't really matter as long as the both got away with this. The water was a bit heavy and he found it difficult to keep his balance, but he managed best he could and soon enough caught up with Yoko. He peered behind him to make sure they weren't followed. He didn't see anything.
"Heh, this wouldn't be so easy in my time. They're cops and guards all over. And they're not as easy to pass by." he smiled at her. "So, what now? I'm sure the villagers won't be too pleased with us now." he said, looking back at direction of the village.

She found a tree and sat under it. She peered into the basket and saw that it contained three rolls, two pieces of dried meat, probably cow and one potato. By the looks of the potato it was raw but she could probably make a stew out of the potato and the two pieces of dried meat but in order to do that she would have to have a fire and if there is fire there is smoke and it would give them away. She then remembered that she had left her stuff back in the hut. Damn. She looked at Ken-Ichi who was running in circles due to their recent victory. She watched as Akiho came up and she smiled at him. “Just enough for the night and possibly in the morning.” She said and looked down at Ken-Ichi. She made the call of a whimper whill and the ferret came running towards her. She whispered for him to go and grab her things. She knew that he was a strong rodent and he could get it just fine.
“Honestly, I don’t know what we are to do. I guess when Ken-Ichi returns we should probably find a forest or another village to rest in.” Her chest heaved up then down slowly as she let out a slight sigh. The sun was still up in the sky but in just a few hours it would be at rest. She watched as the ferret returned with her things and she picked them up from him. They were dirty but it was because Ken-Ichi had to drag them here. She slung the back pack on and picked up the basket. “When you are ready.” She said towards Akiho as Ken-Ichi jumped up on her shoulders.
Honestly, she wasn’t sure why Akiho accompanied her but she wasn’t complaining, she was starting to enjoy his presence but she knew that one day he would leave on a quest of his own. Perhaps he would leave to go and find out about his powers and the power that lay hidden in the dagger that she had given to him just a few days ago. Hopefully she will be done with her quest before then and she can accompany him on his.

Akiho sat on the opposite side of the tree as Yoko, his right leg folded in front of him and his arm resting on his knee. He looked up at the sky, his jacket laid beside him, he didn't feel like putting it back on, besides, it was pretty nice out. The shirt he wore was an ordinary black tee, or at least it was in his time. He tightened the red headband on his head and leaned his head against the tree. He was silent when she first spoke. He didn't really have all that much to say about that. Guess they'd be doing this again soon if they didn't want to starve. He looked to the village, knowing he'd probably never be going there again. Oh well, no big deal. It was better than starving.
He looked up to the sky, it was darkening and they'd have to find a place to stay or something pretty soon. He nodded, though she probably could see, when she spoke again. "Yeah," he responded. He wondered how his family was dealing with his disappearance. It'd been about a week and a half since he'd seen them and only a week since he learned he was a demon. A monk had told him. 'Guess being a demon would explain my athletic achievements in gym class.' he thought to himself. He stood up when she spoke. "Well, we might as well head out now. Who knows what's out here at night." he said.
He took a step forward and looked behind him to see if she would follow. Truth is, he didn't even know why he decided to travel with her. He didn't regret it though. Her company was nice, and so was she. He knew they'd eventually have to split up, but maybe, just maybe, they could meet up again someday. And hopefully, by then, he'll have found out how to get back home and he could show her his time. Maybe.

She didn’t watch as he came and sat down on the opposite side of the tree that she was on. She did have to admit to herself that his clothing was a little odd in her time but for all she knew it was probably really trendy in his time, they did look comfortable. She looked down at her feet and noticed out of the corner of her eye an anxious Ken-Ichi. “I guess you would be hungry.” She reached into the bag and pulled out one of the rolls and tore off a little piece for him and gave it to him. After he ate it she put the rest of the roll back into her bag. “That should tide you over for now.” After the ferret had eaten the small piece of roll that Yoko had given to him he walked over and sat on her lap. She reached down and began to stroke him softly.
She began to think of how he had said he was a demon but he had yet to discover his power. She had been attacked by a demon a long time ago which had cause her to lose some of her memories. She could only remember bits of her past. A sigh escaped her lips but then she heard him speak, only if it was one word she listened. She really didn’t have much to respond to so she just nodded her head and smile. She looked up at the setting sky as a single star was shown. She closed her eyes and began to make a wish. She opened her eyes again when Akiho began to speak. “Yea, we should go.” She said as she stood and grabbed her things and wrapped Ken-Ichi around her neck as he just lay there.
She smiled towards him as she began to follow, she would allow him to lead the way this time. “So, have you thought about how you could get home?” She questioned. Perhaps if they could go back to where he had first come into these lands then they would find a way to get him back to his right time.

As he waited for Yoko, he gazed into the sky. A single star in the near night. It's was pretty cool to him. Back in his time, he never really looked out at the night. Actually, he didn't even really like it. Mostly because his mom was pushy and didn't want him staying up all night, but now that he was here, with no video games, or even electronics for that matter, he found there was much more time to enjoy his life. Which wasn't so bad, really. He turned to Yoko and watched her gathering her things, he smiled back at her when she started towards him. He carried his jacket slung over his shoulder and began walking forwards.
Silence began to engulf them, but it was soon interrupted by the voice of Yoko. He turned his head to her and gave a slight worry free smile. "I haven't. I can't remember much about how I got here, I was just passing though a yard and..that's all I can remember. I had this weird dream though. I fell into this well, shrine as if it brought me here. It was pretty strange." He said. He sighed and looked forward again. He wondered, 'Will I ever get home..?' he pushed the thought away. Of course he would! What would his parents think if they never saw him again? And what of his friends? Not like he had too many, but he was she they were at least wondering what happened to him, right? He sighed inaudibly, not wanting Yoko to hear him. It seemed as though she was letting him lead them this time. Where to go, where to go. He didn't really know his way around, so he questioned. "Where's the closest village?" he stopped and faced her.

When her things were collected she began to walk beside of him, the smile that was once on her face was gone and she just looked up at the clear sky and sighed. It was so beautiful to just take a look at. She wondered if he enjoyed them as much as she did. She began to think of how life would be when he went back to his time, she would never be able to talk to him again unless he found a way back and she would have to search for the demon that put this curse on her body on her own. She didn’t want to think of that, she just wanted to think of how things were now. They were with each other and they would have plenty of time to think of the future later.
When he replied to her question she held no emotion on her face. “I know where a well is, its in the forest of InuYasha.” She said as she turned her gaze from the illuminating stars and to his face. “Do you think that perhaps it was the well that you fell in?” She looked down at the ground this time and sighed. “Akiho…” She paused, her face held a certain look of sadness to it as she walked beside of him still, Ken-Ichi still on her shoulders. “Will you take me back to your time?” She looked back up at him and a look of hope replaced that of sadness. Perhaps if she went to his time, they could find something there that would break the curse.
She put her finger on her lip as she thought about where the next village was. “Its towards the East, they call it Kaede’s village.” She then remembered that the forest of InuYasha was there as well. “The forest of InuYasha is there as well so we can try and find your way home while we get things.” She said with a smile as she moved her finger from her lip and pointed in the direction that Kaede’s village was. “Its this way.” She figured a while back that trying to find Naraku would turn out to be good, she never realized just how lucky she was though.

He turned his gaze from her to the sky, there were so many mysteries that went along with the night sky. He wondered what they were, but he didn't ponder on it for too long. He turned his eyes to Yoko as she spoke, but he didn't look directly at her. He nodded. "Maybe. It's worth a shot." he said, unsure if going back was what he really wanted. Before, all he could think about was getting back. But then again, who wouldn't? He was stuck in a strange, unfamiliar place, it'd be insane not to be a little freaked out. But now, he was as calm as ever, if not calmer. He looked in front of him, thinking about the day he first came here. He heard Yoko's voice and snapped his eyes to her. He was a little shocked at first that she asked to go to his time with him, but it faded quickly into a half smile. "Sure, if that's what you want." he said. He figured it'd be nice to show her around his time. Besides, maybe his parents would believe him after seeing her.
He turned his head to looked at her fully as she started talking again and nodded. "Alright, then. Let's head out." Akiho began walking in the direction she'd pointed to.
