A leather jack was flung over his shoulder, revealing a plain black tee. Simple, yet still perfectly comfortable to him. His hair stuck up and slightly over to the side on his head, and a red headband tied tightly to his forehead. He walked through the forest quietly with a slight smile on his face. The trees swayed with the wind and bird's songs could be heard in the morning air. He looked ahead, seeing a strange and rather large tree in a small clearing. It looked familiar, but still a bit different.
He stopped to look around, taking in the scenery and unfamiliar smells, being a demon, he had always had a strong sense of smell, he just never realized it. He had just always thought everyone could smell things this well. Though, now he knew. It was a lot to take in at the moment, but he felt he could handle it for now. What he really had to worry about right now was finding a way back home. A way, into the future.
He looked back to be sure Yoko was following, then he spoke. So, which direction is that well you were speaking of, Yoko?" He asked, politely. His smile faded into a curious look as he awaited her answer.

Light sky blue eyes watched everything around her, this place seemed so familiar. She saw ahead of her Akiho and smiled as she quickened her pace to catch up with him. Ken-Ichi was already up to him and she wasn’t that far behind. This place was so calm and close to a village as well so they could restock if he wanted to before they found a way back into his own time. She took in a deep breath, the air so crisp and clear. She then looked down at her arms as her hands clutched onto her bag that was strapped around her back. She took in another deep breath and let it out slowly in a sigh. She hadn’t thought about that demon that had put this curse on her for awhile now since she had meet with Akiho.
When Akiho spoke she smiled and got beside of him and looked around. She rose her hand and pointed her index finger in the direction of the well which was right in front of them, just a few feet infact. “Well, its this way.” She said as she started to head off in the direction and she felt as little Ken-Ichi climbed up on her shoulders. She laughed lightly as she closed her eyes and opened them once more. “When I had been here last I had heard of a young girl that had come through the well from a different time.” She said in an almost story tale like voice. “I am not sure what her name is but she passes through the well all the time.” She had reached the well and sat on the edge of it and waited for Akiho to catch up.

Akiho stopped to wait for Yoko. He nodded when she pointed in the direction. "Alright, then." he said as he began walking again. The sky was darkening into night, but it was still plenty light out enough to see in the forest. For awhile it was pretty quiet aside from a few birds chirping and other critters running around the forest floor, no doubtfully playing games among themselves. He urned his head to Yoko as she began speaking again. He listened carefully to every word she said and then repeated it in his head to himself.
'A girl, huh? I wonder..might it be that girl who's always absent in school?' he wondered. 'She's always absent and when she came back, she always said she was very ill, but all the diseases she's had are so strange. It really makes ya wonder. I mean, all those diseases, they're barely believable, especially when just a few months ago she was perfectly healthy, almost never missing school. he thought to himself. Suddenly he remembered what he was doing and that Yoko was here, probably wondering why he was so quiet.
"Heh, I wonder if it's the same girl in my time who just suddenly started being absent all of the time." he said to her.Soon enough they had reached the well. "So, this is it, huh?" he asked. "So, Yoko.." he began, "You sure you want to come with me?" he asked. After all, this was her home, he had to ask, to be sure.

The sounds of the frogs could be heard as their hour approached, the crickets sang their song of the approaching night and the sky was dimming and changing from the sunset hues to the night ones that consisted of mostly blue and black. She looked up at the sky and saw a single star and smiled. Such a nice time this way, right when the moon was chasing the sun away so its children the stars could play. Yoko was almost lost in the beauty of the sky as she sat on the corner of the well. She tore her gaze from the sky and watched as Akiho approached her. She stood now as she walked towards him, the same warm smile was on her face that had always been there since she had learned his name.
When he spoke she giggled lightly and put her hand over her mouth to hide her smile then placed her hand down by her side. “It could be.” She listened to his say her name and before she could say anything he finished. She went to lock her arm into his and she smiled. “I don’t change my mind so easily.” She smiled once more as they reached the well and she looked down into it. “We have to jump down together so I wont be stuck here.” She tore her gaze from the well and looked at him. “You ready?” She looked on her shoulder to make sure Ken-Ichi was there as well. She looked at him, waiting to see if he truly was ready to go home. She wondered if this would work, if they both jumped into the well would they both go back to his time or would they be stuck here forever?

Akiho grinned at her sheepishly, was what he said really that funny? Oh well, he waited for her answer on whether or not she was sure she wanted to go, and to his surprise she didn't seem to hesitate to answer at all. He smiled as she locked her arm around his, he wondered if this well could really take him home, and more so that if it did what he'd tell his parents about his absence. Would they start freaking out, or would they not care? He didn't know, but one thing was for sure..what would he do about Yoko? He couldn't very well just walk right into his house with her, could he? What would his parents think? Oh well, he just figured he'd deal with that when, or if, they got there.
Akiho nodded his head to her question. "I'm more then ready," he said with a smile. He took one last look into the well and started speaking again. "On the count of three, then?" he asked as he began the count down. When he got to three, he held Yoko close to him and took the leap. Would they find what they were looking for? Or would they be stuck in this time, he didn't know. As he fell, he looked beside his to be sure Yoko was still there.

When Akiho nodded his head and answered her she smiled. “Then lets go.” She said as she started to climb into the well beside of him. When he spoke again she nodded her head and when he got to three she felt as he held onto her and she couldn’t help but to blush. She held onto him as well and Ken-Ichi clawed into her shoulder. She winced at the slight pain but it was nothing compared to the pain she often felt in her leg and arm. She could feel as it seemed they were falling forever, when they had first jumped she had closed her eyes. She grabbed onto Akiho and held him close, she didn’t want to lose her friend right now.
She wondered what it was like in his time. She thought of the many things that he had shown her and she had been amazed by them ever since. She wondered if he still lived with his parents, he had often talked about them when they were walking towards the forest and she wondered if they would take as kindly to her as he did. What if they didn’t want her there? What if they wouldn’t let her stay. She began to think that this was a bad idea but it was too late to turn around now and go home, she was in the well now and a blue light began to surround them. Had they made it?
