She listened to him speak and looked out at the ocean. She smiled as she looked down at the mermen. "That's pretty cool." she said as she looked up at Noli. Kriss looked into his eyes lovingly and said,
"I wish this night would never end.." She lied down on the grass and looked up at the moon and stars. She was really enjoying this night, it was so clear out, not a cloud in the sky. But that wasn't her only reason, just the fact that Noli was there with her made it all the more better. She wouldn't have had it another way.

Noli smiled and laid down next to kriss "I wish it wouldent end to....." Noli looked up at the star's and saw a shooting star. "Quick." Noli said with a childish smile "Make a wish."

Kriss grinned and made a wish, a wish she hoped would come true. She looked at Noli and smiled secretively, wondering if he'd know what she wished for. Though, she couldn't tell him, otherwise it wouldn't come true. She looked back up at the stars and closed her eyes.

"Hey kriss....." Noli said with a wide grin on his face. "You might not want to go to sleep 'just' yet." Noli nodded back twoards the sky as what looked like hundreds of tiny streak's shot across the sky. "I havent seen a metor show in.....a long time." Noli looked over at criss and brushed a strand of hair away from her face "Well one thing is for sure" noli said as he looked back to the sky's "tonight will be a night to rember."

Kriss opened her eyes and watched as the streaks of light flew across the sky. "Woah!" she said in amazement, "It's so beautiful!" she listened to Noli's words and nodded her head, "That's for sure. I'll never forget this day, Noli.." she said softly as she looked over at him with her eyes. She looked back at the meteor shower, but couldn't keep her eyes open for much longer. She was truly exhausted.

Noli moved his fingers over her eyes and closed her eyelids "Sleep kriss...listend to the lullaby of nature...the howl of the wind...the rush of the ocean apon the sand......the leaves rustling the tree's....the whistling of the birds.....listen to it....listen to nature's song...." But noli doubted she was still awake by the time he had gotten through half of it.
Noli looked back at the star's and as the last metor flew accros the sky noli made a wish.....that sango had found the same happiness that he had.....

She listened to his voice until she fell asleep. Though, before she was completely asleep, she whispered in his ear, "Good night.....Noli.." a smile was still present on her face as she slept.

Noli listend to her soft sweet voice witch seemed to lul him to sleep. With one last look at the star's noli drifted off to sleep..

Kriss opened her eyes as morning approached, though to her surprise, she could barely see a thing in front of her. The air was so think and muggy it was actually visible. 'Fog?' she wondered. She wondered if Noli was still beside her, since she could barely see she wasn't sure if he was there or not. She squinted her eyes to try and see past the fog, but all attempts failed leaving her nothing but white clouds all around her.
"Hey, um, Noli?" she whispered, hoping he was still there. Kriss sat up and looked around, a little nervous. She looked over to her side where Noli had been the night before and whispered again, "Noli, are you there?" Her injured arm still hurt a bit and she instinctively grabbed hold of it, a but surprised to find it slightly wet with blood. Perhaps she'd accidentally reopened it when she sat up. No matter though, it was still wrapped up in the bandage Noli had put onto it. She hoped Noli was still there, but the only sure way to find out was whether or not he responded to her voice, which she was still waiting to hear.

Noli sat up staring into the fog...noli seached for kriss's hand nad found it "Im here kriss...but wahts with this fog?"

She froze slightly as the touch of his hand, but smiled as she realized that it was only Noli. She listened to him as he spoke and answered him, "I'm not sure, but let's just hope that it's a natural fog." she said. She really didn't feel like fighting today, not with what all happened yesterday day, especially. She was too happy and just wanted to relax today. However if the time were to come to fight, she would most likely do so.

Noli slowly stood up and whistled a short chirp...then another one...another chirp in the distance replied. Noli wistled back and turned to where kriss "It's not natural...but not dangerous." noli explaned as he helped kriss to her feet. "The fog is caused by the merfolk.....there being hunted down...for a while now some group has been slaying them.....the fog allows the souls of the slain merfolk to see the ocean one last time before carrying them to the next life." Noli looked at kriss....now he could at least see her face. "The only thing to do is wait for the fog and souls to move on.....it shouldent take to long....ive seen this happen before."

She stood up with the help of Noli and listened to him speak. She nodded her head, but then realized that he probably couldn't see her and so she added, "I see." as the fog started to thin up a bit, she was able to make out Noli's form, she smiled, but made sure he didn't see. She didn't really know why, perhaps she didn't want him to think she was happy about the creatures being slaughtered. She spoke again, "That's terrible. How can someone do that to them?" she asked, but as more of a statement then a question though. She didn't really think he'd know the answer anyways.
She sighed, but then remembered that Noli said they were spirits. 'Spirits..that are going to the afterlife.' She placed her hand on the hilt of her sword and drew it out. "There's another way we could do this, too." she said as she drew her Katana. "I'll lay them to rest myself, they cannot pass on on their own anyways." she said and she walked forwards. She sliced through the air and cleared away most of the fog. It wasn't much to see, but it left some glittery looking lights in the air as the spirits passed on. "There," she said with a smile as she turned back to Noli. She walked back over to him and stood by his side.

"THank you." Noli said with a sad smile "Ive seen them suffer too much by wandering the world looking for a path to the other life." noli looked up as all the fog was dissapating. Noli looked at kriss amnd took her hand and smiled "Im sure ther gratefull." Noli turned to the derection of the village "Shall we? I dont know about you but im famished."

Kriss smiled and nodded, "It was no big deal, really. It's what I do." she said, her voice faded off as he spoke again, though. "Sounds like a good plan to me, I haven't eaten in a good while. We've been so busy these last couple days." she laughed as they began to walk towards the village.
Kriss glanced at Noli, he had changed quite a bit since they'd seen that woman. He had become a half demon now and she was sure that would take some time getting used to. Especially being less able to blend in with the humans. But, then again it meant he would live longer as well. In a way, the woman had lengthened his live rather than shortened it, which in her point of view was great.
