Noli looked at kriss and blushed a little as he saw she was examining him. Noli turned away and thought about what had happened the last 3 days...the waterfall.....the thorn dogs.....the woman....the blood.....ad the spirits....and these changes. Noli reached for his hair witch had grown noticeably longer in stead of ear leangth....it was now half neck leingth hair.
Noli reached and pulled a strand of his hair...then a lock of his hair and freaked...."Umm kriss....i know i should have been expecting drastic changes...but...now i have...reddish yellow hair."

She looked over at Noli again, she hadn't noticed it a second ago, "Wow.." was all she could manage to say, it was pretty freaky, but she didn't really care all that much, he was still the same old Noli she's met back in the forest. She smiled and tried not to giggle at his new hair color, even though it was very difficult not to, she didn't want to seem rude or anything. Finally, she thought of something to add to her previous word, "Well, at least you won't be so hard to find at night." she joked.

Noli laughed "Now all i need is a target painted on me and a sign that says 'FREE TARGET PRATICE'." Noli looked over at kriss again and sighed....noli was happy....more happy then he ever had been....

Kriss laughed along with him as he spoke, but calmed down pretty quickly. She smiled, wondering what he was thinking and even more so what they were going to eat. Kriss looked up at the sky for a second, just long enough to notice a butterfly pass over their heads. It's colorful wings almost seemed to leave behind a glittery substance that faded after a few seconds. She glanced back at Noli, trying to think of something else for them to chat about as the silence was beginning to get a little awkward. "So.." she said, still trying to think of something to say.

Noli hated when awakward moments like this came....he hated it even more so when it was a woman he was talking to "Kriss i......." Noli was cut off as his ear twitched and heard something....almost cutting through the air....witch ment it was either a knife or a shruiken.....what ever it was it was headed right for kriss.
Noli pushed her down to the ground as the blade crazed his shoulder. Noli quickly stood up as he saw.....dozens opon dozens of shruiken's were flying at him and kriss.
Noli raised his hand's and yelled "MYTHRIL MIRAGE!" A blueish purple barrier erected around him and kriss and started to deflect the shuriken's...but noli notcied that the shuriken's when the hit the bairrier rather than reflecting they exploded into this powdery red dust. Noli grunted at the strain the barrier put on his body.
Noli saw amongst the red dust that a woman had appeared and laughed out loud while saying "Well well well...lookie here sis's little lover is protecting her...well....you mutt you cant hold that barrier forever.......and i can do the all day......I have a whole lot of shurikens."

Kriss looked at him as he began to speak, though, she hadn't even fully faced him beforeshe found herself falling to the ground as Noli pushed her out of the way. She gasped as the shuriken ripped through his shoulder. "Noli!" she cried out, she look at where the shuriken had come from and seen her. She stayed down for the moment, completely shocked at what had just happened. 'No, what's she doing here?!' She wondered, as Noli put up a barrier, she began to get up, a very annoyed look on her face. She had to ruin their day yet again.
She began to wonder if it would ever stop. She unsheathed her sword and called out the word again, as she always had done when she intended to unleash her swords full power,"Katico." Her sword evolved into it's diamond form, the jewel shard within it clearly visable. It pulsed through out the sword as it activated and Kriss stood in a defencive stance, just incase Noli couldn't hold the barrier much longer.
She did her very best to ignore her 'so called sister's' comments as she prepared for any attacks. She took a quick glance at Noli to make sure he was holding up alright before she asked him anything. The last thing she wanted to d ewas ruin his consentration, especially in times like ths.

The bairrier was draing his streight and noli felt like he was getting barraiged by shurikens not the barrier. Noli dident know wither or not the powder outside was posionous or not so noli pulled out his posion mask....looked at it .....then quickly tied it on to kriss's face.
Noli whispered to her "What ever happens......promise my you'll live." With that noli realeased the barrier....but as soon as the bairrier went down....the shuriken barrage stopped. The strange woman skyd started to laugh....
"Hey sis!" Skyd yellled out "I REALLY dont want us to get off on the wrong foot here so...lemmie get rid of this 'extra' baggage you get 'ere
and well call it even............I mean after all....you did take away my parents....so ill just return the favor."
Skyd turned twoards noli who stood in front of kriss in a defenseive sntace damn Noli thought and i was really hopeing for nice quiet day with kriss. Skyd laughed and said "Hey dont let me ruin the fun...if you think you can..." Skyd lifted her hands and rested them on her hips. "Come and get me."

She watched Noli, who seemed to be unable to hold up the barrier for much longer. She noticed as he took out a poison mask and put it on her, "Noli, what are you..." she started, but was cut off by his voice. 'What ever happens, promise me you'll live.' a tear streamed down her face. What did he mean by that, he wasn't planning on dying, was he? As he let down the barrier, the shurikens stopped, as the woman began to laugh, Kriss fell to her knees. She had a bad feeling about this, as she began to speak, she turned her head up.
She listened to every word she said but what hit her the most was those last few words. 'I'll just return the favor.' she tightened her grip on the hilt of her blade. 'No..no.. I cannot let her hurt Noli..' She stood up as she heard her next words. Her sword hung down by her side, her head looking down at the ground. As she looked up, she glared into Skyd's face and said, "Why don't you leave him alone."

Skyd laguhed again "Becasue he's stinky, boring, and pretty darn ugly.....i meant he wasent so bad as a human....but he sure is one mixed up mutt now." Skyd looked at kriss "Oh and dont worry i wont kill him......you will."
Noli chuckled and said "Ya'know if you spent less time rattle trapping and more time ambushing...we 'might' have been dead by now." Skyd looked back at noli with a smirk. "So do you like my powder little slayer? It does a strange thing to demon's....you know how they say 'music soothes the ravage beast'. Well this lovely powder angers the savage beast."
"Well it wont work on me..." Noli smiled "Im only half demon. In fact i---" Noli was cut off as his mouth seemed to stop working...noli wanted to smile and assure kriss that everything would be fine....but he couldent talk....noli tried to reach for his demon sword on his back.....but he couldent move....Noli tried to look at kriss for reasurance....but his vison started turning red.
"YOU IDIOT!" skyd laughed at noli "THAT powder is MADE for half demons! It enhances the demonic blood within you so it can over power you human side. And that puny sword at your back..." skyd said as she nodded to noli "It draws it own demonic aura...it only helping the process along." Skyd looked at kriss and said "Look at your little lover...nothing but a soon to be beast.....why it'd be a mercy for you to kill him."

Kriss listened to what she said and looked to Noli, then back at her. "I'll die before I fight him." she said, her face seemed to be beyond angry now. As she spoke to Noli, Kriss gave a look of confusion, and looked back at Noli. The powder seeming to have effect of him. She glared at her,
"Damn you." she muttered. she sheathed her sword and listened to her next words, "I'm not so self centered as to do such thing. I'm not an idiot, nor am I a quitter." she looked over at Noli, a determinant look on her face. "I stick to my words, I will die before I strike him." she turned to Noli, completely defenseless. No weapon at hand, and nothing to guard her from him. She whispered softly in her gentle voice, "I will not fight you, Noli."

Noli eyes turned completly white and a deep growl sounded in his throat... Noli was haveing thought....dark thoughts....of blood...her blood...the blood of that damned panther woman who seemed so smug....noli felt the desire to rop her to shreds....to cut off her lips so she could never show that arrogant grin again.
Noli suddenly realized with a shock...these werent his thought's.....they were someone elses....something elses.Noli tried desperatly to move but he felt as if he was an alien to his own body. Then noli heard it....heard the sweet soft words of kriss 'i will not fight you noli.'
Skyd watched in amusement...'it was all to funny really...my sister in love with a half demon.....and the half demon about to slay her.....the irony of it all' Skyd thought as she pulled out her katana called the 'silent vengance' and jumped at kriss snf yellrf "Mabey this will jog your memory!"
Noli's body followed his command for once....it moved infront of kriss and accepted the blade into his side. Blood splattered onto kriss as the sword plunged into his side a little above his hip. "If you touch her...." Noli said in a deep gravely voice "Ill rip you to shred's!" Noli looked up at skyd and skyd notcied his eyes.....were completly red.
Noli punched skyd full in the face and sent her flying back. Noli looked down at the sword in his side and grabbed it and snapped it in half and pulled the bloody broken sword out of his side. "Lookie what i did to your pretty little toy." Noli taunted.

She watch as his eyes turned red, he seemed to be unable to control himself. 'It's..it's like me..' she watched him, wondering if he could break the spell of the powder. She looked up at the woman as she jumped out at her, she put her arms in front of her and closed her eyes to block her attack. She felt blood all over her, yet, no pain. Slowly, she opened her eyes and seen in front of her,
"Noli.." she whispered under her breath. A single tear fell from her eyes. 'Noli..?' slowly she lowered her arms from in front of her face. 'He..he over came it..?' she looked down at his side and seen the sword. The blood. Noli's blood. "Noli!" she cried, as he took out the sword, she looked at him in shock. 'What's wrong with him?' she wondered she peered over at him and looked into his eyes, then shot back behind him and stepped back one. "His eyes..." she began, "They're...they're still red.."

Skyd stood up quickly and looked in anger as noli broke her beatiful sword. "Youll pay for that!" She muttered and watched in curiosity as noli placed his hand on the katana at his side.....skyd was confused...the sword dient have a demonic aura....but if felt.....evil.
"NO!" noli yelled in his mind "Rip her apart if you have to just dont use that!" Even though he knew kriss couldent ear him he tried to say "GET AWAY!" Noli's body lurched forward and slashed his claws at skyd and cut her left arm leaveing a horrable gash. Noli ducked as she tried to slash him and noli spun around giveing a roundhouse kick square into skyd gut.
Noli cought her as she was about to fall and pushed his claw under her throat. "Any last words?" Noli said as hi eyes grew even more red. Then noli saw it....her face.....a tear...a tear trickled down skyd's face....that look of fear....he remembered it.....yes...he had seen that same look as his mother had died from the posion.
Noli dropped skyd on the ground and stood up and turned away "GET.....get out of my sight." Noli said as his eyes started to turn back to normal. "Now!" Skyd said as she jumped up and stabbed noli through the shoulder with a concealed knife that pearced all the way through the other side.
Noli just stood there....not crying not even flinching from the pain "I spared you the first time.." Noli said without turning to face skyd "I spared you the second time but left you with a wound........Leave now...and if there is ever a third time.....i'll kill you."
Skyd ran off holding her cut injured arm. Noli looked at kriss...not only was noli covered in blood but he had a knife sticking through his shoulder. Nolis eyes turned back ot normal as he said "Im sorry....i lost controll."
((P.S no im not going to kill noli.))

Kriss watched as he began to reach for the katana on his side. She never had seen him use it, but it didn't look like he wanted to ether. She took a step back, something in the back of her head told her that she should get away. Perhaps in she didn't care about Noli so much, she would have, but she refused to leave him, no matter how bad it got. She watched him as he slashed at the woman and threatened to kill her. Just as Kriss was about to run to him, he stopped. Did he regain himself? She listened as he spoke, but noticed as Skyd seemed to be preparing to attack him.
"Noli! Look out!!" she yelled out, but it seemed she was too late. Skyd stabbed him in the shoulder, but he didn't seem phased by it at all. After Skyd had run off, she began to walk towards Noli, slowly. She stopped as he turned to look at her and spoke. A few tears fell from her silvery eyes and she ran to him and wrapped her arms around him gently trying not to hurt him worse.
((Why is this reminding me of a ep from Naruto?? lol.))

"Kriss" Noli said quietly as he slowly wrapped his arms around her. "What happened?..........i....felt....wrong.....i.i...i couldent control myself....i felt like some sort of...monster." Noli kissed the top of her head and said "by the way........how's your arm doing?" Noli tried to lighten the mood....even though he was in no condition to make jokes at the time......he dident want kriss to worry.
Noli slowly pulled out the knife from his shoulder stoping and wincing from the pain every now and then..Noli looked at the wound on his stomach and almost fell over in shock....the wound was gone. Noli looked at the hole in his shoulder and saw the flesh slowly growing back.....noli had seen jewel shards heal in injuries before but his was to much for a few shards to do....was this the power of his half demon side?
