Tsuyoi made his way to the roof of the school. He hated crowds. Hated the stares, hated the gossip. Hated knowing they were talking about him, right in front of him. He didn't mind rumors, he didn't care what they thought about him. But it was like they were talking to him personally when in a large crowd. It is when he was in a crowd that he realized how alone he truly was, and he didn't like it. Not one bit. He didn't care that he was alone, but it was just so much more noticable in a crowd. He stopped in his path, looking solemnly at the steps in front of him as the thought of the crowds of people. He shook it off and continued up the steps.
Tsuyoi opened and closed the door to the roof, surprised that the first thing he would see would be Kouhei. He stared for a moment, the wind rustling through his own silver hair which he held back from his face in a rubber band. He didn't want to disturb the boy, he seemed so peaceful. But he had to. "Kouhei," he called his name as he walked toward the boy. He didn't want to surprise him and have him fall off the roof. People would think Tsuyoi pushed him!

Kouhei jumped a little. He turned and smiled. "Hello Seishuku-senpai." He stood away from the fence and went to retrieve his things. He picked them up and handed the food to his elder. "Here, I made this last hour so it should still be warm." He shifted his book bag from his shoulder and sat down. He took out his note book. He reviewed his notes for a minute to give Tsuyoi some times to eat. Kouhei made minor adjustments here and there. After a while he said, "We should go to the library. It's near my house so It will be easy enough for me to get there, what about you?" He asked.
Kouhei''s expression as one of complete innocence. He seemed sweet and all smiles but his eyes showed his fear of being up here alone with Tsuyoi. The older male had a reputation. Kouhei heard many of the rumors. Anya told him everything she heard. Kouhei had enough sense to be afraid. It was up high and he didn't have wings.
He suddenly had a far of look in his eyes. it would be nice to have wings. He would Love to fly over the land. he would love to look down on the rice fields and tops of the houses and the sky scrapers. Suddenly a flash of memory erupted behind his eye lids. he swayed for a moment. He was looking down on feudal Japan. People were working or pausing to point up at her... her? no... him.
He shook his head. He placed a hand to his forehead. "Sorry. What did you say?" He looked dazedly across at Tsuyoi, forgetting to be afraid.

Tsuyoi accepted the food and look at it suspiciously as Kouhei spoke. He continued to stare at it. It did look pretty good, he just didn't know if he should accept it. For all he knew, it could be poisoned. He glanced at the boy again, finding that he trusted him for some odd reason. He barely did anything trustworthy. Of course, the boy hadn't done anything untrustworthy either. Finally he picked up the chopsticks, sat down, and began to eat. He was too hungry to contemplate about it anymore. It had been a long while since he last ate at school. Normally he just allowed himself to starve until after school. But he wouldn't resist food if it was given to him.
Tsuyoi made sure to eat slow instead of scarfing down his food. Sure, he didn't care what people thought about him but it was still minor courtesy to not eat like a pig. He was almost done with his food when Kouhei spoke of the library. "I will find a way to go, too." sure, it was pretty far away from his home but he didn't care. He didn't like going home, anyway. When he was done with the food he set the box down beside him and watched Kouhei. He was smiling, but there was something off about it.
Was Kouhei...afraid? Well, duh, Tsuyoi shouldn't be that surprised. But for some reason that fear bothered him. He wondered if he could say something. Anything that would make him less afraid...but why would he want to do that? He loved the fear! He loved the way people looked at him wide-eyed, expecting him to suddenly take out a knife and stab them! He loved it! Then...why was this so different?
Tsuyoi looked away, out into the distance when he spoke. "It's not true." he said simply. But it seemed that Kouhei had been in his own little mind and that slightly annoyed him. He should be paying attention when Tsuyoi was talking to him! Oh well. "I said it's not true. Those things they say about me..."

He lowered his hand. He watched Tsuyoi, cocking his head to one side. "It's not?" he asked softly. His jade eyes grew large, wide eyed. it was almost as if he was amazed that Tsuyoi would be admitting something like this to him. Why him, of all people? He grinned. "Well, I knew some of the things weren't true. Like when people said you murdered that gang leader. I know because that guy is my cousin." He laughed. "That's odd to think though, right?"
Kouhei stretched. He willingly accepted this. He was the trusting sort of guy and was willing to let anyone spin tales on him. He would believe Tsuyoi even if it was a lie. "Well, we should go to the library after school senpai. Is that all right?" he asked softly. He was messing with a ring on his thumb. His face was brushed with a light shade of pink. He did this when ever he asked anybody to go anywhere with him, even Anya and Jun. Both of them thought it was adorable.
Kouhei did not realize he was blushing. In fact he hardly knew it was something that happened often with him. He stopped fiddling with the ring for a moment. Should he be feeling this faint? He placed a hand on his temple. He closed his eyes. Another flash of memory that did not belong to him. "Sorry..." He murmured. His face paled. "I think I should go to the infirmary. He stood, and picked up his bag. He bowed to his senpai. "Thank you for taking this time out to speak with me." He started away. Why was the world spinning. He felt his body grow heavy. He fainted.

Was it really that surprising? It was rediculous, some of the things they made up about Tsuyoi. Normally, he would thank them. It only added to their fear. He stayed casually by picking at his food with his chopsticks. There was barely any left but there was some peices he could still eat and pick at.
Kouhei seemed to believe what Tsuyoi told him, and soon he was laughing about it. Well, it was better then the fear. He didn't answer when Kouhei spoke about the gang leader. He just continued to keep himself busy with picking at the foor.
Tsuyoi only answered Kouhei's question about the library. "Yes." a simple answer, coming from him with the chop sticks slightly in his mouth. He looked at the boy, eyes narrowed as always and face uninterested in what Kouhei said or did. Although the blushing and the fiddling with the ring did confuse him. Why was Kouhei doing that? The action almost annoyed Tsuyoi. It wasn't as annoying as the feeling it seemed to stir in his mind.
Was he sick or something? Tsuyoi did not know, nor did he ask. But Kouhei must have believed so for he was suddenly speaking of going to the infirmary. He watched him walk away, and had noticed how pale the boy had suddenly became. He stood, ready to leave when he noticed Kouhei sway. He rushed toward him, catching him as he feinted. Tsuyoi stared at him, the unconcious body in his arms and he wondered how he had become so insinctual to catching a feinting person.
Tsuyoi didn't take the time to ponder over it as he made his way back into the building. He tried his best to not let anyone see him carry the small boy through the hallways. They would get the wrong idea. Just as the nurse did when he had made him way to the infirmary. She had him lay the boy on one of the beds and then quickly called the principal who took Tsuyoi to the office. They assumed it was him who had caused it and Tsuyoi did not argue. What point was there? And so, he found himself sitting in the principal's office, being scolded at for something he had done right for once.

Jun sat down next to his unconscious 'brother'. The young male seemed to be sleeping so peacefully. He reached out and touched the pale skin of his cheek. It was so soft. Jun stood, hovering over the younger male's face for a moment. He then leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on the boy's lips. He straightened. "I have to go now," he came out from behind the curtains. "Let me know if he wakes up."
Kouhei found himself in the infirmary. He could tell because everything was so white. He frowned. He really didn't like that color. It was so plain. He groaned slightly and tried his best to sit up. Of course his head began to spin. He allowed his body to drop back down on the bed. His soft voice called out the name he had done so many times before. "Mishiko-san." It was barely above a whisper, his voice. The curtain opened. The woman who stood there was a tall blonde American woman. She wore the traditional white uniform of nurses. It was not Mishiko.
"She's sick today dear." The nurse sat down on he edge of his bed and laid her palm against his forehead. He flinched slightly. He did not particularly like being touched be strange people. "You fainted." she stated, as if Kouhei did not know,
"Yeah, it happens a lot." He said softly. The nurse looked down at him, amazed.
"This happens a lot?"
"Yeah. It's okay though. I forgot to take my medicine this morning and I haven't eaten all day." The nurse watched him, worriedly. "Climbing those stairs was the last straw for my body. Though this normally doesn't happen like that. Very weird."
"I tried to call your parents, no one is home. What is their work numbers?"
"No, don't call them there. They'll just get worried and they'll have to leave work and come to pick me up. We can't afford that." The nurse frowned. Such a sweet kid. Where's he get to be like that. "Where's Seishuku-senpai?" It took the nurse a moment to realize he meant the boy who brought him in.
"Ah... He was sent to the principle's office. I didn't know this happened often. I thought he..." she trailed off and scratched the back of her head.
Kouhei gasped. "oh no! He didn't do anything to me! Really. I just fainted was all. It was bound to happen at some point during the day." He tried to sit up.
"No, don't move. I'll call the principal." She left and he heard the nurse begin speaking on the phone. Kouhei closed his eyes. She seemed to make a couple of 'calls'. It was only about five minutes before Jun rushed in. Kouhei smiled up at his older sibling.
"Hey Jun." Jun sat down on the edge of the bed, like the nurse. but unlike the nurse Kouhei did not flinch from him.
"Did you take your medicine before you left this morning?"
"No, I forgot.... I was in a hurry because of you."
"I'm sorry." He carefully pulled Kouhei against his chest. Kouhei leaned against him breathing his brother's scent. He smiled and snuggled against his brother's warm body.
"Sorry you got caught." Jun chuckled. The nurse came in with some pills and a cup of water. Kouhei took them, as he was supposed to.
"thank you." he told the nurse. Jun sighed.
"Baka..." Kouhei laughed and shook his head at his brother's words. He could feel them reverberate in his sibling's chest. Deep, low, beautiful.

"I just don't understand why you would-" the principle was interrupted from his rant by the phone and Tsuyoi sat silently as he answered the phone and spoke to whoever was on the line. By the time he hung up the phone the man seemed emberassed. "Ah...Seishuku, you can leave." so ashamed was he that he didn't even want to tell Tsuyoi of his mistake. But the teen knew as he glared at the principle. The man seemed to shudder but stayed quiet as Tsuyoi stood and left the office. It seemed immediately that he could feel the stares of the other students. Already wondering why he was taken to the principle's office. Some had seen him carrying Kouhei and those rare people answered the other students' questions before everyone thought it was Tsuyoi's fault. Only the people that knew Kouhei knew it was wrong. Even so, some were still doubtful.
Tsuyoi was so pissed that he didn't even go his next classes. In fact, he decided to go hang out in the empty worthless highschool library. Why would he go to class only to have them whispering about another thing he had done? He wouldn't waste his time to tell every single one of them that they were wrong. He didn't even try to waste his breath explaining to the nurse and the principle. He spent some of the time trying to find good books on Greece, but he could only find one on mythology. He spent the rest of the time at one of the tables with his laptop.
Tsuyoi wasn't sure if he wanted to go with Kouhei to the library anymore. Would he even be able to find the boy to go to the library? He didn't know, but he spent the rest of the school time in the library before packing up as the last bell rang. Finally, he could get out of here. The place he hated even more then his home. Which he hated, as well.

Kouhei fell asleep against his brother's chest. The medicine did that to the poor boy. He had a weak heart that caused so much trouble for his physically and for his family financially. Jun gently lay his sibling down on the white sheets of the bed. he covered the boy up and kissed his frehead. Then he went off in search of the other end of a promsie to hios brother. Tsuyoi Seishuku. Jun sighed and brushed dark hair away from his face as she walked out of the infirmary doors.
He spent about fifteen minutes searching parts of the school. He finally came to the library. It was with in its recesses that he found Tsuyoi. "Seishuku-san. I've been told to give you a message. Kouhei won't be able to meet with you today Kouhei wanted me to say a million of apologetic things, but I don't think they're really necessary as it is not his fault." Jun sighed and took a seat across from Tsuyoi. "Thanks. I you hadn't been there and he actually hit the ground we would have been in worse trouble. Kouhei's body has been weak since birth. His heart is weak too. It's the reason he fainted on you." He ran his fingers through his hair again, ending up entangling the digits in his slightly coarse tresses. "I know you don't care about that sort of think, but If you have to work on a project with him you should know that fainting is a regular occurrence for him. If he starts to do weird things, like swaying or putting his hand on his head then make sure he doesn't stand... He could end up breaking bones or getting horrible bruises if he should fall."
Jun shook his head. "Anyway, He won't be meeting you today. He asked that you come over to our house tomorrow." Jun stood abruptly. "And it still stands, should I ever find out that you even touched my little brother I will kill you. Don;t think I'm not serious. If you need proof check my middle school records. You're dad has the money. You could see them easy." He spun around on his heel and left Tsuyoi to his musings.

Tsuyoi barely listened to a word Jun said to him. He made sure to stay uninterested and although his eyes would glance at the teen he made sure he looked more interested packing his stuff to go home. Although, what Jun did say was very interesting indeed. About Kouhei, and how weak he was. The hints of feinting, all sorts of stuff. What really was of interest was the invite Jun told him to come to Kouhei's house tomorrow. He wasn't given any time to ponder over it when the protective brother decided to repeat his statemence of threats. Stupid guy and his stupid threats. Stupid project and stupid Kouhei. He glared after the retreating form of Kouhei's brother as he went back to packing his stuff.
Why the hell would he go to Kouhei's house? Including with that ass of a brother there! Oh, but he had to. For that rediculous, stupid project. Which, by the way, he was calling everything stupid as he ranted in his mind. He grabbed his stuff and exited the library, knowing he would have to go to Kouhei's house the next day...
Tsuyoi found himself in a very horrible mood the next day. Not just because he had to go to Kouhei's house, but because he had to somehow find the boy's house. Luckily he computer was of great help and with the placement of a last name he was able to find directions. It was very idiotic for the boy to invite him over and not even think to give him directions. In fact, it was very idiotic of him to not remember to ask for directions. But how could he when Jun was threatening him?
Finally, Tsuyoi found the house and to get rid of the frustration he had he ripped of the directions in tiny peices before tossing them into the street. Well, now he didn't need them anymore. He walked up to the door and stared at it for a moment. When was the last time he went to someone's home besides his own? A long time. Taking a deep breath he knocked on the door.

Kouhei's mother answered the door. She was very much like a female version of Jun and most definitely shorter than the high schooler. She smiled and held the door open wider. "You must be Seishuku Tsuyoi-san. Kou-chan's been expecting you. Come on in, I'll take you to his room. He isn't even allowed out of bet until I'm sure he won't be fainting again. She ushered the taller high schooler into her House and closed the door behind him. "Would you like tea, anything? I'll have to bring some up to Kouhei anyway." She waved a hand n his direction the pointed up the stairs. "His is the first door to the left. You can't miss it. It's the one with the big sign on the front of some anime he watches." She obviously wasn't going to lead Tsuyoi up the stairs like she said she would. Instead she went into the kitchen to prepare tea."
In his room Kouhei lay in his bed. He was sour. he hated being cooped up in this room. He loved his room, but not if he had to stay here for three days. He stared at the glow in the dark stars he and Anya had put up last year. A couple had fallen and he made a few wishes on them. He grinned at how childish he had been, but still he did such things. He brought a up to push back his silvery bangs. He then let his hand fall to his side. There he found his note book. He pulled it up so he could read it. He went over the extra notes he had made for the project. he then began to search through some of the books he had made Jun go get. he felt bad for his older brother and sod decided that once he was better he would make something for Jun.
He heard his mother open the door and enthusiastically greet who ever was behind it. He laughed to himself. His mother was an over bearing woman. She had the tendency to talk a lot about nothing. He loved the woman all the same. He sat up in his bed and watched his door. Maybe it was Seishuku-senpai. Should he be anticipating the other male's arrival like this? it was weird. His heart rate increased and his face was a little flushed. He reached up a hand in an attempt, which failed, to smooth out his messy silvery hair. When had he cared so much about that sort of thing anyway? He didn't do things like that when Anya came over. He fiddled with the ring on his thumb.

Tsuyoi silently entered the house, not saying a word as the woman talked on and on. He refused the tea and when given the directions he needed he left the woman to whatever she was doing and walked up the stairs. How odd was it, to be in someone's home. The only places he had gone to on a daily basis was school and home. Of course, the casual coffee shop but that was a different story. He wondered if he would see Jun, he really didn't want to see that guy anytime soon. The thought of him ruined his mood but he tossed the annoyances away as he opened the door to Kouhei's room.
Tsuyoi stared at the boy for a moment in his bed. Was he really that sick? He closed the door and walked to the edge of the boy's bed and handed him a book he had been carrying with him. The one he had checked out about Greece. "Here." he said simply, glad to finally be rid of the book. Soon, he would be done with this project and he wouldn't have to bother with meeting up with this boy again. Although he couldn't find himself annoyed of being here, just inconvenienced of his daily routine.

Kouhei took the book with pleasure. "thanks." he grinned. He then flipped through the pages. His eyes grew wider with each page. "Wow, this has some amazing pictures..." he trailed off, reading something. "Very in depth." He grinned up at Tsuyoi. "This is really great! It's better than anything Jun got me." he laughed a little. "Jun's never been really good in library's anyway." He moved a pillow and leaned against it. He began talking about the project again. Like his mom he talked a lot about nothing and everything all at once. After a moment he gasped. "Ah, sorry. Please, take a seat any where you like. It's kind of scary having you hover over me like that. I hate feeling so short and helpless all the time." He scratched the back of his head, a tired look coming over his eyes.
"Sorry I couldn't meet up with you yesterday. Sorry i couldn't come to school today. They had to keep me over night int he hospital. Things were a little worse than they really should be. But I'll be fine. I always pull through... Gah, here I am talking about things you don't need to concern yourself with. Thanks for coming here though. I understand it must really suck to have to come and do this." His light voice was some what cheery. Obviously he was happy to have the company.
His mother knocked softly then came in. She handed a mug of tea to her son and some pills. Kouhei groaned, took the pills and sipped his tea. Once his mother was absolutely sure that the boy had taken them she left with a small smile. Once his mother closed the door Kouhei stood and went to the window. he opened it. He placed a finger to his lips. "I'm not supposed to have it open. Mom thinks I'll catch cold and die or something." He went back to the bed and sat cross legged on it. He pulled the book back and started taking notes and talking at the same time. Mostly he was throwing out ideas for the project and ways they could get the photos out of the book. It never crossed his mind that he could get them off the Internet because his family couldn't afford a computer.

Tsuyoi didn't really feel as if he was needed here. He found that Kouhei was talking more to himself then to him, and even so it didn't really matter for Tsuyoi was only listening to half of the things the boy said. He barely even moved until Kouhei spoke of sitting down. Yes, he didn't like just standing there for so long. He sat down at the edge of the bed and continued to listen, sometimes act like he was, when Kouhei apologized and thanked him and all sorts of things. Throughout the whole talks he stayed quiet for there was no need to speak as the boy seemed to have figured everything out.
Tsuyoi was still quiet and distant even as Kouhei's mother came in. He watched silently, and was glad when she left. He felt more comfortable with Kouhei more then with his mother there. His narrowed eyes never left the boy's as he went and opened the window. It was getting a little stuffy in the room. His mother was too much of a worryer for Tsuyoi's taste as he spoke about the window. Soon, he was back at the bed and chatting away about the project again. His eyes wandered to the tea that sat nearby. He was rather thirsty but had denied himself the tea when asked earlier.
Tsuyoi took the drink, but did not drink from it. Might as well ask first. "Can I?" he only asked just in case, this boy did seem like the germophobe type. Even if he said no he'd probably drink it anyway. But he thought to ask first. When he got his answer, whether it was a no or a yes he took a sip and placed it back where it was before grabbing his book bag and bring it into his lap as he went through his stuff.

"Sure, go ahead," Kouhei said absently. His pale jade eyes wandering over the page. He flipped it with the end of his pencil. He brought the pencil to his mouth and nibbled it. It wasn't like Tsuyoi could catch what Kouhei had. Kouhei would have probably said the same thing if he had a cold. But it was not so and did not really matter.
After a moment he raised his eyes to watch Tsuyoi dig through his book bag. Kouhei cocked his head to one side and watched with interest. Tsuyoi looked surprisingly good from this angle. Kouhei capture the position in his mind so that he might draw it later. he grinned to himself and went back to his book. He flipped through a couple more pages and sighed. he rubbed his temples. All this reading was making his head hurt. He closed his book. It was probably the medicine making him tired too. Damn that woman. Kouhei fought it though. His large eyes did eventually flutter closed and he fell asleep. His body leaning gently against Tsuyoi's shoulder. He looked decidedly innocent like that. His fingers still clutching his pencil, his pajamas all wrinkled and his hair a complete mess. His lips were parted slightly, his breath came out soft and even.
In his subconscious he could not remember a time he had ever slept so comfortably as when he was touching Tsuyoi. This was odd as he barely knew the taller male. In fact the guy still sort of scared him. But most of him looked up to Tsuyoi now. He was an interesting idol. He was someone who could keep quiet even when horrid rumors were floating around about him. Kouhei would probably cry under such pressure.
"Tsu... yoi...." he murmured softly in his sleep. His fingers let go of the pencil. It rolled from his hand and onto the floor.

Tsuyoi was about to take out his laptop when he suddenly felt a pressure on his shoulder. He looked at it, surprised to see Kouhei leaning against him and asleep. He frowned, wondering if that was supposed to happen. The pills probably made him sleepy. This conclusion made him feel less awkward with the boy sleeping against him. He was afraid that he might drool and ruin his shirt. This was something else he was not used to. Someone sleeping against him. He stayed still for a moment, not wanting to wake the boy up. He forgot that idea quickly after a moment since it was annoying to stay so still when he was in the middle of trying to do something. Slowly he used his hands to grab the boy and take him from his shoulder before positioning him to lie on the bed. He got up, placed his stuff on the ground as he worked to place the boy underneath the covers. He paused, as Kouhei muttered his name. Tsuyoi stared at the peaceful sleeping face of the boy before continuing to cover him with the covers. He grabbed the pencil from the floor and the books before stacking them at the boy's bedside. Making sure everything was neat as he went back to going through his book bag.
Tsuyoi felt like such a mother caring for the boy and it annoyed him, but he tried to ignore it. He was still trying to do the project, even if the boy was asleep. He took out his laptop, his portable printer and worked quickly to find some of the pictures from the book and printing them wirelessly. Once done he also stacked the pictures with the books and picked up his stuff and silently left the room. He would have to find another time to finish the project with Kouhei when he wasn't sleeping.
