Eva let out a surprised gasp, suddenly feeling herself on such a sudden change of height and she gripped him tightly to keep herself upright. If she fell, it was going to hurt and she did not want that.

"O-oh..." she said, still imagining her angry mother when she got home. Was it even worth ever going back to something like that? Maybe she could disapear for a while and when she got back her mom would have waited too long to be angry but then happy to see her? She frowned, glancing back at Ryuu. She imagined all the things that could get his anger to go away.

"I wonder if being preed would help you." she giggled lightly, amazed in the rediculous idea she had just said aloud. Preed! That was rediculous! Of course, she wouldn't have said it if he would understand her. The books she read gave her new words and that one was one of her favorites.

[Naraku]

He was already making his way to leave, as he was completly there listening to her from his mind being occupied but he was not ignoreing her either. Of course the word preed, was not used. So In his half stae of thinking his mind skips and places it with the only word really used that sounds anything like it causing him to almost drop her.
"What! Where did that come from?!" He turns his head to look over at her.


OOC: not sure how your book uses it but Preed can be use as a noun or a verb, I forgot what the verbs meaning is, but when used as a noun. It is the leader of preps.

To think Ryuu had been close to dropping Eva made her grip tighten on him to make sure she didn't fall. She blinked, looking at him and the surprised look on his face. Surely hearing her say that wouldn't make him that shocked...maybe a little shocked, but not like that. "Do you know what pree means?" she asked, a surprise smile on her face. She didn't see anything wrong with what she said. Albiet, a bit forward. It wasn't a Japanese word, not even an English word.

If Ryuu did happen to know what it meant, Eva would find herself very emberassed and amazed. She blushed, thinking that he just might somehow. "It would just be a wee pree." she decided to add with slight laugh, thinking on that book and the character who had taught her such words. She wouldn't be serious about such a thing, she was trying to lighten the mood the best way she could, even if she ended up emberassing herself. Even if she didn't want to be humiliated.

[Naraku]

He sighs out loudly before turning back. "Nothing nevermind." He was far off on what she had said, and he sure wasn't going to tell her he thought she said breed. He begins to be ignoreing her, from that, but he was actually listening to her, but trying to hide that own thought into his own mind.

Eva went silent after that, glancing at him every few moments. She needed something to say. Something, something... "I wonder, would a kiss get rid of your anger?" she hadn't had thought over what she would say and now it was too late. She meant to say that in her head first before contemplating if she should say it!!She blushed, looking away from him. Oh, it was too late to take it back now!! She had to get up the courage to look at him, to make him see she wasn't implying that she...well, give him a kiss. Sounded nice, but no! She wouldn't give him anything like that!

"I-I'm not saying I'll kiss you or anything! Just asking..."

[Naraku]

He was still to much in shock over his first thought to really worry to much about what she said, so He said nothing as they was soon back in the light as they was getting close to the exit of the labyrith.

This was starting to get annoying, and very irritating. One of the worst things she hated was being ignored. Of course, she loved not having attention, but when she actually wanted it and wasn't given it, that was the worst of feelings. She felt awkward, uncomfortable, and didn't know what to do with herself. She hated being this close to him!! Including if she didn't get no reaction to what she said. He didn't say nothing, nothing at all, no reaction. He probably couldn't even imagine kissing her, not good enough for him.

"Let me down." she said, looking toward the entrance, finally out of the darkness. "Let me down right now!" she said, trying to push away. She was feeling horrible, angry, and awkward.

[Naraku]

"Maybe it is you that needs that kiss." He said nothing more, for after he said it, he couldn't even place on why he did. For he said it before his brain even begin to process her reactions. Even his face turned alittle rosey yet he tried to face away, yet not letting her go.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

As soon as those words entered Eva's ears she froze. Her struggles stopped and her eyes widened. H-her? She looked toward him, trying to see his face as the darkness changed to light. She blinked, getting used to the change as he walked and she blushed, thinking over what he said over and over again. Eva frowned, just as unwilling as he in meeting eye contact. She looked in the opposite direction of his gaze. "You wouldn't kiss me." she said with a slight laugh, a small blush staining her cheeks.

[Naraku]

He stops sitting her down yet pulls her back up against his chest. "I think you forget that I am a demon. Why is it that I would kiss a human?" He says it, yet his voice and flushed fash could be telled that was the main reason he came from behind. even his embrace seem to argue with the words that he just said.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Eva blinked, suddenly on the ground and her back against him as he embraced her. The blush darkened across her face as she looked down, not daring to look at his face. What was he doign!? Was he going to prove her wrong? Was he going to kiss her!?! The thought made her stiffen and yet her heart pounded in excitement. His reply entered her mind soon after and she seemed almost disappointed, but she was thankful that it had gotten rid of that excitement, and the pounding in her heart. Was he just messing with her then? Ryuu didn't have to hold her like that if that was what he had wanted to say. "You wouldn't...that's what I said before, you would not kiss me." Oh, to hear it from him, to hear it from herself, it was horrible. Sure, a demon...that was his excuse, a better one then just saying he wasn't attracted to her.

[Naraku]

He releases her stepping back yet his hair covered his face as he looked down. Hiding the thought and the look in his eye. He could hold back the burning of his cheeks. He remains silent as he tried to contain himself

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Eva turned to look at him once he was a good distance away. She tried to hide her sadness but it was hard to do so. Was he angry again? He didn't look very calm, but she didn't know what it was that bothered him. He was thinking about her being human, wasn't he? How weak and worthless humans are. That must be his opinion on such a matter if he thought it demeening to kiss someone like her. "What's wrong with me, Ryuu? Humans, I mean...what's so wrong about them?" he must think there was something wrong, something bad about humans that he used that excuse not to kiss her. Or maybe he didn't really think that, and only used it against her.

The thought of Ryuu being so deceitful made Eva frown, becoming more saddened then before. She pouted, her lower lip sticking outward as she looked down, then back up at him. Did she even want to know the answer? Besides, wouldn't she rather have this excuse then anything else he could think up? She just didn't know, and she contemplated it as she waited.

[Naraku]

He walks up beside her as he drew his blade. His face still not showing. The blade reverses as he slams it into the ground beside her as he lowers himself. Before she could say anything or even another thought after the blade striking. His arms quickly went around hers as his lips then pressed against hers.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Eva watched him questioningly, her confused and curious gaze watched him, trying to understand what he was doing. But she couldn't see, didn't know if he was angry or if his actions were something different. She became nervous as he got closer, the blade drawn made her jumpy, and she wondered if she had guessed wrong on how much he did not like humans. Maybe bringing it up had brought more hatred from him? Maybe he was going to kill her! No, no, he wouldn't do that! All of these assumptions ran through her head. She took her eyes off him as the blade was placed into the ground and it only confused her more.

Eva gasped before his lips touched hers and she couldn't react for a long moment, too shocked to think or do anything. Finally, she reacted; slowly, and shyly she kissed him back. All the while she tried to think of something, a reason for this kiss. Was he trying to prove that he could handle kissing a human? Was he teasing her, messing with her? Oh, those assumptions seemed so cruel but nothing else could come to mind! Whatever the reason, she would try and enjoy it. She would cherish it, even if she ended up hurt in the end.
