Deep inside the forest there is a medium sized clearing with one waterfall.......and nothing but blood red roses everywhere covering the entire grounds..........

Bright blue hair followed her unconscious body as it walked through the forest. Her eyes were dull and a frightening color of red, she seemed as though she were nothing but a puppet on strings, yet, deep inside was a sleeping, pure hearted soul who was trying desperately to wake up. Flung over her shoulder was a long Katana Sword, bloody from battle and it reeked of humans and demons alike.
Her white clothes were soaked with the blood of innocence, but there was nothing she could do right now, she was too far into a possession to break free without a long struggle. A few tears leaked from her eyes, her human feelings were the only things able to come through this thing.
Dried blood was splattered all over her face and hands. She wanted desperately to clean it off, but while her eyes are color of blood she is unable to do a thing of her own will. She could on fight it back slowly. Her body stopped as it entered an unfamiliar part of the forest. Her head looked up, she saw everything, though foggy in a red color. She was still able to make out the blood red roses and the waterfall ahead.
She shrieked inside, crying to her body not to go there, the place didn't feel quite right, it was too quiet aside from the falls and she didn't like it, but her body just kept walking. She shuffled through the blood colored flowers over to the fall, she continued to shriek in her head, 'No, no! Don't! Please, stop!' but all had failed. Her body sat down in front of the fall's small lake, just staring into it's rippling pools.

Noli Jumped from another branch still attacking the spider demon and continualy slashing at is with his demon sword...while it did get him a good deal bloody this demon had to be stopped.....While it dident posses a jewel shard it had slain 3 villages on its on.
Noli cut the Gaint 5 foot spider in the gut and pushed it out into the clearing, when it was on the ground after being pushed out of the tree's Noli flipped his sword to back hand and jumped down from the branch and put both his hands on the hilt of his sword and plunged it into the demon..
The spider exploded in a shower of blood and absolutly soaked noli in the scarlet liquid...Great i for got thoes thing's explode when they die.... Noli thought as he looked at his srounding's.....Noli almost gasped in shock.....flower's.....roses acctualy....roses as red as the blood noli was drenched in......and they were every where.......
Noli looked at the fall's then at his demon slayer battle suit Perfect place for a bath i sopose Noli thought as he started to undress, but as he reached for the first buttion in the leather cloth of his battle suit he saw a young woman accros the river.....well what was left of a young woman...her clothes were raged and cut and her to like noli......was almost coated in blood.....
Who is this woman? Noli wondered as he stared...........

Her blood red eyes glared mindlessly into the rippling waters, until at last she''d felt his presence. She turned her head to face him, her face covered in blood, matching the color of her eyes. Visible were some tears falling from her eyes, but she didn't really look sad. There was no emotion on her face and her eyes were as dull as a dolls. Her body stood and walked towards him, she struggled to stop herself, and nearly succeeded, however it only looked like she was hesitating to walk, which in fact was some what true. Her sword was being dragged along the ground, cutting up many of the roses there. She stopped about 5 or 6 feet away in front of him.
She swung her Katana over her shoulder, still no expressions on her face. She didn't want to fight, she didn't like it one bit. Maybe she wouldn't fight. Maybe there was still time to fight this thing without her having to fight this man. She fought the demon in side of her, her eyes flashed silver for a second, but turned red straight away. What to do? Her hands gripped into fists as she fought the demon.
She clenched them so tightly that her sharp nails pierced her hands, cause a bit of blood to trickle from her fists to the ground. Her eyes snapped shut, as she struggled. She dug her sword into the ground shakily. She did not want to fight.

"Oh i get it" Noli said as he looked at the girl who was visably in pain....."She's possesed by a demon." Noli whispered in shock.....how....was there.....any way to help this woman. Noli looked at her and slowly started to walk to her, after noli was only about a foot away from her Noli slowly let down his sword and looked at the woman with....pity.....
"Who are you." Noli said....it was less of a question and more of an excuse to break the spell the strange flower's and continual thrumming of the waterfall seemed to be casting of the two of them...

She looked forwards to the man as he stepped closer and she whispered in her mind 'Stay back.' She knew he couldn't hear her, but she wished he would, she didn't want to hurt anyone anymore. She heard his voice, asking a simple question, could she answer? Would this thing recede and allow her control again? At least for a while? She hoped. She bit her lip, yes, yes, she was regaining control again. She stood up straight and looked at him, her eyes silver once again. She took a few deep breaths before answering.
"My-my name is..Kriss." she said. As her eyes cleared from the foggy red, she realized he, too was covered in blood, but this blood smelled of a demon. It would figure, he wore the clothes of a demon slayer. She figured she should watch out for him, after all, she was a demon herself. She was different though, being as she had every feeling a human did. She blinked and looked at him, "Who are you?" she asked as she shakily sheathed her Katana.

"Noli korr" Noli replied as he noticed she sheathed her blade. "Im a....im....i...." Noli couldn't find words for noli was almost memerised by Kriss...even under the dried and wet blood covering her white moon white skin.....she was.....unbeliveably......butiful..
Noli shoock his head and took a deep breath and before he knew what was coming out of his mouth noli asked "Are you a forest sprite?.......you know a.....tree goddess or something like that?" Fraixain Noli cursed to himslef in his thought's Now she'll think your a total simping baka.....and if she is a forest goddes she'd be right to put an end to me Noli thought as he picked up his sword and sheathed it slowly almost afraid to move to quickly........

She smiled slightly, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Noli." she said as she regained herself fully. She was no longer shaky, but was still upset because of what the demon had made her do. She listened to Noli stumble on his words and laughed lightly. It was funny, to her. She found this sort of thing amusing. Her smile enlarged as he listened to him speak.
"No, I don't know what I am. Not entirely, at least." she said with a sigh. The only thing she knew, that she was left with, was that her job was to slay, or put to rest, the lost souls of this world. Some call her a Spirit Slayer, others a Shinigami. She blinked, he looked kind of worried, perhaps he thought she'd have taken that offending. To most demons, maybe, but not her. She understood the human feelings and such, because she felt them too.
Maybe it was part of her job, to understand the humans more, that is, so that she could better understand what the spirits she 'slayed' had gone through.

How did she gain back control so easly? Noli wondered as Kriss chuckled, "You look almost human" Noli half said half whispered. Noli shook his head once again and and said "I'm sorry i....About all the blood..and...." SHOOT once again Noli thought to himslef....no matter what he couldent bring himself to talk straight..it was either the roses or Kriss....or maby both. So Noli said the only thing that could come to mind at the time "Are....are you hungry....it is about noon and i could go catch and cook something.."
You idiot! Noli thought Like she's ever gona fall for that old trick All noli could do was smile sheepishly and wait for her to snub him off like most wemon did.

Kriss nodded. "I usually blend in great with humans, until the demon takes hold again." she said, trying not to sound upset. She laughed again, he didn't seem to be able to talk too straight right now. She shook her head. "It's no problem, I'm covered in..." she stopped, she couldn't say it knowing it was the blood of innocent. It was too much for her, she sighed,
"I'm sorry, it's just that..well, um..It's nothing, never mind." she said, she didn't know how to say what she had done. He'd probably hate her just the same as everyone else did anyways. Well, maybe it was for the best. After all, it would die too if she did, but a fried of hers had sworn that one day, she would break this possession on Kriss, and she believed it.
Kriss looked up at him when he spoke again and smiled. "Sure, I'd like that." she said, kindly.

"Ok ummm... Ill go get somthing and you can clean yourslef off and bathe.....umm if i peek you have full permission drown me." Noli chuckled and looked at his own suit....it to was covered in blood. No matter noli would chang after he got something for her to eat. Noli smiled as he turned to the tree's and put down the pack he had carried on his side, before he jumped into the tree's he looked into the rippleing water and saw there reflection's.... aside from there face's they almost looked the same both were ragged and a little rundown and covered in blood....but other than that hey both looked......alone... "look" Noli said without relizing he was talking "Were one and the same." Without another word Noli jumped into the tree's in search for some unfortunate creature to hunt.

Kriss laughed as he spoke, he was pretty odd, but he was the only human who didn't seem to hate or fear her. And that was good enough for her any day. She looked over at him as he spoke, and she looked at him, then to the river, which seemed to be what he was looking at. She listened to his words very carefully, 'Look, we're one and the same.' She smiled, so he was a loner as well, guess that did make them very similar in a way. She waited until his sent was far and walked to the river to wash.
Once she was all cleaned up, she headed away from the falls. All the blood previously hiding her face was now gone completely. She unsheathed her Katana and grabbed a cloth from her pocket and began to clean the blood from it's blade until Noli showed up again.

Noli had a good time to think to himself while he hunted. When he did come back he had a large boar slung over his shoulder. Noli looked for kayka but couldent see her, noli almost panicked he dropped the boar and franticly glanced around. Noli breathed a sigh of relif when he saw her with a cloth cleaning a blade. Something is wrong with that blade to... Noli thought as he turned back to the boar and pulled out a small knife and started to clean there soon-to-be-lunch.

Carefully, she wiped off the blood, taking care to not ruin the cloth too terribly much. It had already had a lot of blood on it to begin with and she knew she'd have to get a new cloth pretty soon if the possession didn't stop. She looked up as his sent neared, he looked like he couldn't find her at first, but he noticed he soon enough. She stood up and sheathed her Katana again. She placed the cloth in her pocket and walked over to Noli.
"Nice one, Noli." she said, she wasn't really sure what to say, so she just came up with something that sounded polite. She smiled again, but she seemed to do that a lot anyways. She always tried to find the brighter side of things, seeming her whole life was full of death. She didn't like to look depressed all the time, even if she really was.

"Umm Thanks." Noli hadent recived a complment in...ever sence....sango gave him one almost a year ago...and now she was dead....A small tear trickled from noli's eye but he wiped it away hoping kayka dident see it.
"Well there's not enough meat on this beast to roast on a spit if we had one so..." Noli reaced into his bag and pulled out a small colapsable pot and cut the meat up and put it into the pot. When he was done noli went over to a tree and useing his demon sword he cut off some braches and started to lay them in a pile and said "If we cant roast it then we can stew it."
Noli dident know why he was doing this....but there was something about this woman.........something......wrong......
