Kriss watched as Noli flung back to the falls, her eyes widened, not sure what had just happened. She sprung up to her feet and ran to the falls screaming, "NOLI!" she raced over to him, she couldn't think straight right now, she had to make sure he was okay, first. Her bright blew hair waved behind her as she ran, a trail of flat flowers were left behind from every step she took. 'What just happened!? Why did he..?' She stopped next to him, 'Noli! Are you alright!?' she cried out.

Noli slowly blinked his eye's and saw a bright white light, then saw someone leaning over him...a beatiful woman leaning over him Am i dead? Noli thought.........
Noli sat up with a start only to hit his head on an overhanging rock. Noli laid back down and thought for a second...everything came back in a rush...kriss....the demon.....the jewel shard.......The jewel shard! THATS IT! Noli sat up quickly again being carefull to avoid the rock's.
Noli looked at kriss and said "Now i know why the demon can take control of you so easly! It's the jewel shard!"

Kriss was relieved when he sat up, though not so much when he hit his head again. She gave a worried look, but soon enough he sat back up. She listened to him as he spoke. 'Jewel shard? Does he mean the one in my sword?' She blinked in confusion and responded,
"What? The Jewel shard? Do you mean the one in my Katana?" she asked. If it was really just the shard, she'd gladly take it out, however, what would she do with it? And more important, was he telling the truth, or just trying to get his hands on it. She didn't know right now, but there was only one way to find out whether he was telling the truth or not and that was to trust him, at least for now.

"NO no no not the one on your sword..." Noli pointed to her left leg. "The one you dont know about....the one in your leg."
Noli rubbed the back of his head "Every poseser demon has a place where they hide and gain strength....The one in your leg is a a spot where it is connected to every nerve in your body.....why it's no wonder why the demon can take controll so easly......it quite literaly use's your body like a puppet on strings."
Noli saw coneren in kriss's eye's and he said "Oh dont worry i've got enough shard's of my own."

Kriss had to think about that for a minuet. 'There's a shard...in my leg?' she questioned herself. She wondered, 'Was that all it really was? A shard?' She gazed at Noli in confusion, "Really? Well, how will we get it out?" she asked, she certainly didn't want to cut open her leg to get it, especially if there was another way.
A look of relief covered her face when he spoke again, it was reassuring that he said he didn't want it.

"Well im no surgon" noli said with dismay "And i doubt the demon will let you get out his only mean of contorl so easly......Perhaps...hmm...thak might just work."
Noli looked at kriss and said "If we can find a monk and a preistess i think we can get the demon out of you. The preistess to purify the shard and when its pure enought to where the demon cant controll you....The monk can cast out the demon......but.." Noli sat down again "They would have to bee pretty powerfull to do it.....that demon of your's......i'ts a blood line demon."

Kriss listened and nodded her head in agreement. That was very true, it wouldn't just give up the fight then. It'd probably take over again if they tried anything. She listened to Noli's suggestion and nodded her head, "I see..Well, it's worth a shot." she said.
She wondered if he would come with her, it wasn't like she really cared, was it? She just like his company, that was all. Though, she didn't ask. She didn't want to be a burden, besides she was sure he'd have better things to do then help her out anyways.

"Do you...i mean......well.....c...can...." Noli hit himself in the head "Can i come with you? I mean i've got nothing else and you might need the help and....and..." Noli stoped right there for he knew at that point it would take a 1000 dog demon's to bury himself out of the hole he just dug himself in.....

Kriss laughed, 'There he goes again!' she thought. "Sure, I'd like the company." she said happily. She looked around, just noticing that the skies were darkening. "Hm, we'd better start heading out then, wouldn't you say? Who knows what this place could do to us." she said, seriously.

Noli stood up "Yeah we probably should...i just hope we make it out of the forest before nightfall.....the forest can be just as dangerous as here." Noli said as he used his hand to wipe away the blood on his forehead after hitting that rock it had left noli with quite the bruse. Noli flicked his hand so the blood would fly off it.....then and only then noli had realized his mistake....that's why the roses were so hyptonizeing.....they tried to put you to sleep....and that's why there were so many....the snake's werent the demon's......the roses were...
Noli froze as the droplet of blood hit one of the roses, If anytihng will arouse a demon....it's blood.. As the bllod drop splattered on the rose it started to change...it grew larger and the petal's curved in and made a face that gre long fearsome fang's. The creature stoped transforming when it turned into a doglike thorny green monster...

"Yeah," she said in agreement. She watched him as he wiped the blood from his forehead, "ouch, that's some injury.." she thought as he flicked it off of his hand. Suddenly, everything felt wrong, event Noli looked concerned, she turned around as she felt the presence of the demon flower. "Noli, I'll handle this thing." she said. She wasn't so sure about it, but she figured that she could at least try.
Kriss reached for the hilt of her Katana and swung it out. It pulsed as Kriss said something, "Katico." The small Katana grew quickly into a large, crystal-like sword, in that stage, the jewel shard inside of it was clearly visible. She jumped up and swung her sword, injuring it a little, but just enough for Kriss to get one last shot at it. "Let's go while it's down, Noli," she shouted to him as the demon weakened for a minuet.

"Yeah" noli agreed as more thorny demon dog's started poping up "Now im not stingy when it come's to oppents but these prick's are a bit to much."
Noli turned to the tree's but saw three other thorn dog's move in the way. "Fine then" noli said as he Braced himself for the pain this would give him. Little dimond spike's started to prick out of his own skin and erect themself's for a shooting postion.
Noli Swung his arm's and yelled "KON GUU YUHAA" When noli swung his arms the shard's flew out of his arm's and into the strange demon's who were instantly....shreded.
Noli looked back at kayka and said "Jump on" noli held his arm's behind his back in piggyback postion "Dont worry the spikes on me are gone now and it'll be faster this way!" Noli had to put his personal decency and feelings aside at time's like these.

Kriss nodded in agreement, "Yeah," she said. Kriss turned to Noli just in time to see him get hit, however he shot back a counter attack at the demons. He seemed to be alright, so she didn't worry too much. She was just about to attack again when he spoke to her. She turned around to face him again. She wasn't so sure about that idea, however he seemed to be. She took one last slash at a demon who was nearing her and sheathed her sword which instantly converted to it's former form. She ran over to him and jumped on.

Noli held kriss and cringed I hate useing the power of the jewle shards....but in this case i'll make an exception The four jew shard's in noli's legs glimmered and noli shot off into the darkness.
Noli knew even though he was going faster than a human eye could track....the thorn dog's were faster.....slowly but surely they were catching up......Please let there be a way out nearby.... NOli thought as he ducked another branch, jumped over a tree stump that looked like it had been hewn by a huge sword, and jumped over a long ravene.
Noli knew he was going fast enough to make a half demon sick so he slightly turned his head and yelled to kriss " ARE YOU ALLRIGHT?" Even at this volume noli knew she probably couldn't hear him.

Kriss held on best she could, she never imagined he was so fast. 'He must be using some jewel shards..' she thought. She tried to look behind them, but she found it difficult to move her head at this speed. Though, she was still able to catch a glimpse of the creatures running behind them. The speed might have made a half demon sick, but she still felt okay, at least a little. A dizzy feeling from watching her blurry surroundings whiz past her before her eyes.
It was almost fun, aside from the dazed feeling she was starting to have. She heard Noli mumble something, she could just barely make out a couple words, 'Yo........Al...Right?' She nodded her head best she could and yelled out, "YEAH, I THINK SO!" her ears started to pound and her eyes hurt from being unable to focus on one thing.
Kriss closed her eyes to try and help the pain and rested her head on his back, holding on a tightly as she could as to not fall off, which, even though she was a demon, could very well be deadly at this speed and in these surroundings.
