[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru was taken by surprise when when Ben spoke to the reincarnate. That human boy knew his mate's reincarnate?! The demon lord hid his shock, keeping his golden eyes on her and ignoring Ben. Though he listened closely to what was going on. Drew once? Money? Being in a gang? He was confused, but he hid it all. And when it seemed she was staring at him, he did nothing but stare back. He watched her bring the item to her mouth and breathe. He blinked, the only sign of his curiosity. What in seven hells was that? Sesshomaru wanted to ask, but he guessed he could ask that later. Keep that in the back of his mind for now when she suddenly brought out a book and spoke in some odd language.

Sesshomaru was even more confused, and it was starting to show on his face. Brigantia did know a language, but it didn't sound even close to that. Was that a more future language? What purpose was that language for? It had seemed that his presence had stirred something in the girl, that much was for certain.

Sesshomaru could see little tiny things that reminded him of Brigantia from this girl, the way she nibble on her lower lip, but there were still so many things that were not right with this reincarnate. Including when she got violent. At that moment he felt a mix of shock and amusement at the same time. He didn't know what it was, her tone, or the way she looked at Ben with hell in her eyes, but it was enough to force a smirk on his face.

What he didn't understand is why she couldn't just ask Sesshomaru himself instead of acting like he wasn't there to ask the human boy. He had his own voice did he not? Even though he'd rather stay quiet, as he was now. The humer had left him by the time it seemed the girl had calmed down, and so his smirk had also left, leaving him as stoic as ever.

Sesshomaru was taken by surprise by her question, though her stuttering left him a little annoyed. What had he said about stuttering...oh yeah, that was the other Brigantia. They sounded so similar, and yet not at all. But that stuttering was the same. He couldn't help but think it a little cute, what with her outburst a few seconds ago.

For the first time he spoke to the girl...he still didn't know her name too...huh. "I have no use for money." he wondered how the currency worked here...was it the same? Why the heck did it matter, he never cared for the least when it came to money. He was a demon lord, of course he had money, a lot of it, but it was useless to Sesshomaru's goal. Though a few were used every once in a while when Rin went to the village to get something to eat.

Why was his mind wandering so far from the subject? "You could do as you like, just don't waste too much of my time." mostly, he gave her permission to draw him in his own way. He just hoped it was quick, though he liked meeting the reincarnate of Brigantia, the real Brigantia was back in the past, ever second counted of her being alone without him. Though he was sure that was what she wanted, she didn't know that he was gone.

And there was still so much to see of the future. If he wanted to know more, he needed to stop being quiet and ask questions...later...

"GAH!" Ben said as Esper practicly blew up in his face. When she released ben he was pushed to the ground "Do you think i'd be dumb enough to owe money? Much less to a gang?! And besides i dont think a human spell is gonna work on this guy." Ben said refering to esper's spell book...true ben had modled for esper in the past...heck he still did it from time to time..and besides 20 bucks per session wasent that bad on his bank account."His name is sesshomaru." Ben said as he stood up again "And the question is more of where he picked ME up....wait your gonna draw him?" Ben was surprised by esper's request...and even more shocked when sesshomaru dident object! Ben sat down and pulled out his own scetch book and pencil..thinking of something else to draw. "And besides the only gangs here in tokiyo is the 'tiger fang' and the 'deadly widows' " Ben shudderd when he mentiond the deadly widows...over to two gangs they were the most...gothic...."There leader is somone called...uh...narut-..no naroko? Nah it wasnt that...umm Naraku! That was it! This 'naraku' dude is reeeally creepy he makes all of his followers get this huge spider burn mark on there back...kinda like this." Ben said as he turned his note book around and showed sesshomaru the spider burn mark

Esperanza was not lisenting. Her whole mind was set on drawing Sesshomaru. She did not look up from her paper, in fact her eyes were closed as she drew. The pencil moving expertly over the paper. It was ten minutes before she looked up to hear the comment about Naraku.

"Hn... Thats what he calls himself. The name comes from one of the less known legends. A demon who wanted great power... Naraku's real name... Uramishi Ken. He's a distant cousin of mine." Esperanza packed away her sketch book. "For a while we," that was, her gang "Have been planning an attack upon them. I will not fear such a foolish man. I loathe him completely..." And the reason for this hatered was unknown, but it was obviously soemthign terrible by the morbid sound of her voice, and the way she held her body.

"I am going home. You are welcome to come along. Or continue to explore. Do as you wish. it is no concern of mine." Esperanza said with a wave of her hand, begining to walk away. "Enjoy your stay foreigner." This was directed to Sesshomaru, the man who had entered her dreams so many times. She was confused as to what he was doing here. He shouldn't really exist. She picked up her book, holding it close to her chest. "Damn the library." she hissed under her breath. Well as much as one could hiss with no S's in the scentence.

Sesshomaru stood as still as he could for the girl, though not so much that it was noticable that he was trying to not to. It was easy enough since he had nowhere to move, nothing but to stand here and listen to the two, and glance at the reincarnate every once in a while as she drew. Why was it so important to draw him? Ah well, that didn't matter, he didn't care that much. It was what Ben talked about that got his attention. Gangs? He was annoyed that the boy could not spit out the name at first, but once it was out it made Sesshomaru stiffen just a tad. Naraku? Naraku had a reincarnate too here? He listened to the the girl's comment about Naraku...or, the reincarnate who was named Uramishi. For a second Sesshomaru thought to go find the reincarnate and kill him just in case he started to cause trouble like he had in his past life.

He thought about it for more then a second. And even more when the girl spoke her hatred for him. He truly should just kill him. Of course, he didn't know on how he could go and do such a thing. It wasn't truly his concern. Not in this time. Sesshomaru didn't say anything as the reincarnate spoke and began to leave, saying good bye and calling the demon lord a foreigner. A...foreigner? The demon lord was certainly not a foreigner. He lived on this same land, probably walked it long ago in the present..eh, past. He let out a small huff, but said no more. This woman was so different then Brigantia in so many ways...and yet he had the urge to follow her as he had done for the true Brigantia. Ugh, even in her next life she would have him on a leash. It made him angry, but he just waved it aside.

"Shall we continue?" he asked Ben, turning his back on the girl as she left. Maybe he would see her again while on this tour, or maybe there would be another one? Something told him that not all could be seen in just one day. Including if he wanted a full understaning of what was to come.

Ben stood up and put his stuff away "Yeah sure seeya esper!" Ben said as he brushed himself off and sighed....where were they going before?...oh yeah food. Ben smiled and turned to sesshomaru "IT's a good thing you dont eat human food i dont either...infact you could call the stuf we eat INhuman!" Ben chuckled as he started back out of the oark...hoping sesshomaru would follow this time...

Sesshomaru's brows furrowed with what Ben said. He didn't eat human food either? But, if this human ate it, wouldn't that make it human food? In any case, it wasn't that Sesshomaru didn't eat human food, it was just that he wouldn't eat all together. He never ate unless necessary, and when doing so he would eat something with healing properties because he would only eat if he was wounded. Or ill, if that ever happened. Which it hasn't, and probably won't. Letting out a small breath he followed Ben. Well, in any case, he could at least see what the food was like in the future. He didn't have to eat it, afterall.

"What was that woman's name?" he asked Ben after a few seconds of silence. He still didn't know her name. Even though 'esper' had come out every once in a while, he didn't truly think that to be her name. He wondered if he would be able to see her again, question her about her reaction to him where she had taken out that book...Ben had said it was a spell book? What would she be doing with a spell book, and how could it hold answers for the questions she had asked in that foreign language of hers. He had caught the tone of question in her voice at least once in that odd gibberish.

"Huh? Oh her names Esperanza. She got me through algebra and i got her through art. Kinda a mutual trade....why do you ask?" Ben said as he kept walking...realizeing that sesshomaru seemed to have a keen interest in esper...then again esper did seem to remind him of somone....he just couldent put his finger on it...oh well a thought for later....as they got inside the city ben started to give sesshomaru adive about the modern era "Ok first thing's first...any dogs you might see......LEAVE well enough alone belive me the last thing you want is a angry pit bull chaseing you around in toykio. And then you see that pick pasty stuff under the hand rail? thats called gum and trust me on this one...leave it alone its not free candy lying around." Ben scratched the back of his head and tried to rember if there was anything else...when they walked by a pet store that hade dogs in cages out front...all of witch immidetly begain to bark at sesshomaru. "Uhh they seem to recognize you...have you been here before? Either that or that idiot brother of yours was here not to long ago."

Esperanza....what an odd name. Though it was just as odd as Brigantia, it seemed to fit the woman. Though he didn't understand what he meant about algebra and art. What did he mean 'got her through'? He didn't ask though, not really curious about something like that. Ben continued to speak and at first he had Sesshomaru's interest, but once he realized what he was talking about the demon lord shut him out. Dogs. Why would he mess with dogs? And there would be no way there would be one brave enough to take on Sesshomaru. And 'gum'? Why would he want to touch that? There's no reason for him to mess with it, and the last thing Sesshomaru would think of doing was putting it in his mouth. It didn't really smell very good after being dried up on a metal pole.

Sesshomaru paused for a moment as the dogs in cages started barking. There loud yelps and warning of backing off really displeased Sesshomaru's ears. At first, he ignored them, listening to what Ben said. Were they truly comparing him to Inuyasha? He gave the dogs a vicious side glare they snapped their jaws up instantly. Even the animals of the future knew their place against someone so powerful, and in a higher league.

With a small huff, he let his gaze fall from the dogs and back toward Ben, waiting for the tour, and the stupid advice, to continue.

"Daaaangg how'd you do that?" Ben shook his head in amazement as the dog's shut there annoying traps "Well whatever you did it seemed to have worked." Ben turned and kept walking...untill a plane flew over head "Oh yeah i forgot..in the 'future' regular pepole can fly. And there's no more 'unknown' lands...we've pretty much filled in the blank corners of the map and we've even made it to the moon." Ben sniffed the air as they passed a place called tony's. "Ahh i forgot! i havent eaten here in a week. Come on sesshomaru let's give you a taste of the future." Ben walked into the pizza parlor and smiled...it was pretty busy around lunch but it was a little after lunch so it had died down a bit.

Sesshomaru ignored Ben's question. It was easy enough. He could scare wolves away with just a glare. They knew who was more superior. He would like to see the stupid dog that thought otherwise. The demon lord didn't notice the large object that flew overhead until Ben seemed to point it out. Sesshomaru looked up just as Ben began to speak up about it. He was surprised. At first, he would have easily thought it was a demon. But, once again, it had no aura, just like those...cars. So, it carried people around, doing whatever the humans told it to. It was interesting what Ben said. No land left unknown. He guessed with flying objects such as those, oceans were no obsticle.

Sesshomaru looked away from the plane, turning his attention toward Ben, a questioning look on his face. The moon? Human's have been to the moon? Impossible. He wouldn't believe it. They probably made it up just to make them look more superior. He didn't say anything against it though. There was no need to argue, he guessed. His attention turned to something else. A scent in the air that made his brows furrow in thought. What was that? It smelled rather good....

Was this the future human food?

Sesshomaru silently followed Ben into the building, looking around his surroundings at some of the other humans in the place, immediately he caught their attention with his hair and markings on his face. He ignored them, instead his eyes fell on the food the humans were eating. Wierd....triangle shaped food. Though it smelled good, very good for that matter, the demon lord was too stubborn to allow his curiosity to take over.

"This my deadly friend is called pizza." Ben walked into line and reached for his wallet. "Once you've had a taste of this junk you'll never want to go back to...uhh whatever it is you eat." Ben faced the man at the cound then back to sesshomaru "Hey cheese or beef?" Ben shook his head and smiled "Never mind lets just get beef." Ben ordered the beef and cheese pizza and got out of line as he watched the pepole in the back make the pizza.

Pizza? Is that what it was called? Why was it called pizza? What an odd name. What an odd looking food. Sesshomaru watched silently as Ben ordered beef and left the line, though he still stood there, watching the person in the back play with some type of dough. Huh....odd. Sesshomaru noticed that there were people waiting on him to move, giving him glares of impatience. At first he didn't move, just because they wanted him to. Of course, he didn't truly gain anything from standing here anyway so he decided to move and follow Ben.

"I do not eat human food." he stated once again. He really wished to try it, but the whole point that it was tempting made him more determined to not eat it.

"You dont eat human food or you dont want to eat human food?" Ben said as he sat down at an empty table and motioned sesshomaru to sit down "Look i completly understand your situation here...soooo if you promise to at least try it...you have my word that no one i repeat no one will find out." Ben smiled as the cook called him. Ben stood up and took the pizza from the cook and set it down infront of sesshomaru and him on the table. "Bon apitet."

Sesshomaru stared at Ben with that normal emotionless look. Though it screamed 'I am superior to you'. He listened to what the human said with narrowed eyes. It didn't matter if anyone found out. He didn't care. It was the fact that he didn't need it. He wanted it, but it was not needed. But even so, he hesitated. He truly wanted to see what was the big deal about this...pizza. He could smell it, even before it was brought to the table, in which Sesshomaru had not sat down at just yet. Finally, he did, not used to how far off the ground he was sitting.

Sesshomaru furrowed his brows in confusion, bringing his eyes off the pizza and toward Ben. "What does that mean?" he couldn't help himself but to ask. 'Bon apetite'? What in seven hells did that mean, and why did he say it? Did he say it just so he could say something and not have Sesshomaru know? Well, he would know sooner or later.

"Is it a habit for you to poke and prod and disect everything i say?" Ben shook his head and sighed "Have you ever heard the saying 'ignorace is bliss'?" Ben smiled and took a pice of the pizza "Well fine if your not going to eat it then i will." Ben took a bite of the triangular bread and sighed in contentment.
