Tour guide to the future

Ben landed on his knee's and sighed...finally he was back. Ben looked up to see sesshomaru for a moment then the demon lord jumped into the air and dissapeared. "I wish i could do that." Ben said longfully..but as soon as the words left his mouth his sword shook a bit...just a small little rattle and a juge surge of energy flew through ben and he jumped high in the air...only to hit his head hard on the shrine celing. Ben's gut was rammed bt the rim of the well, as he pulled himself out he saw sesshomaru looking around and sniffing the air like a puppy in a new home. "Umm your going to need some diffrent clothes...here come with me." Ben said as he started in the direction of his house witch wasent far.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru might have laughed at Ben if it was him to do so. But he didn't show any of his amusement as the human got one injury after another. Heh, stupid human. The humor passed when he spoke up and left the shrine that held the well. New clothes? He didn't want new clothes! These were the clothes of nobles. He didn't argue, though. If different clothes meant no attention, then he guessed it was okay. Sesshomaru followed Ben, glancing every which way, the concrete under his feet was new, the scents in the air was new, and the huts that all looked like castles were new. Everything was new.

There were things...just sitting...or standing...or laying, or whatever they were doing, at the side of what might have be a road. Though to him it was just more hard floor but with a small border. He glared at it for a moment, watching it as if it would suddenly move and attack. It might just. But for now it was just...doing nothing. He could sense no life from it.

Though he was curious over what the the thing was that had black wheels and a shiny color over its armor he wouldn't ask Ben about it. No, he was too stubborn for that.

Ben walked down the steps of the shrin and onto the sidewalk and up to the street's. Ben suddenly jumped back as a taxi flew right past him..had ben been one moment to soon it would have flattened him "That my lord is called a car...and watch out for the yellow one's..even if your in front of them they dont stop.." Ben crossed the street and pulled out the keys to his apartment. He walked inside his small house...it wasnt that small considering it had one bathroom one kitchen and dineing room in one room and a couch and tv and one bedroom. Ben searched through his drawers and pulled out a pair of black jean's and a black t-shirt and handed them to sesshomaru. "This outta fit you just fine." Ben nodded to the bathroom "You can get changed in there."

Esperanza was the sort of girl who did not belong in a country like this one. Her features did not belong. Though she was tiny enough to go un-noticed, when she spoke one had to look at her unique face. Her hair was the darkest shade of black one could have ever seen. It was extremely long and wavy, curving around her oval face. Her eyes were large and gree, hidden behind a pair of glasses. Her skin was extremely tan, but somehow it looked so natural that one must think she never got into teh sun and it was just he hue she would always be.

She wore her school's uniform. She did not go to the same school as Kagome, so her own was different. THe color was mostly black with hints of blue. THe skirt was black, the button up shirt that did not seem to be large enough to fit over her bust was white, and the blazer was also black. THe blues were mostly just the schools prestigous emblem, as well as the thigh high socks. Only the smallest bit of her thigh showed, as the skirt happened to be really short. Why this skirt was manditory she would never know. She figured the school was run by perverts.

She was what one might call a rich snob... if she were snobby. A rich sweetie then? It did not make a difference. She had no real relation to the normal people of Tokyo. She was the princess of modern times. A hispanic princess.

"Ah! ¡Es tan caliente hacia fuera aquí! Conseguiré un poco de helado mientras que hago mi trabajo casero." She said, wiping some sweat from her forehead. When finally at the resturante she knew to be the best she ordered her favorite ice cream, Strawberry, and sat down at one of the outside tables, fishing out her Algebra. She liked math, which most people found weird. She did not mind.

She took off her blazer setting it on the back of her chair and rolled up the sleeves of her long sleeve white shirt. She was jealous of the other schools becuse they had a summer school dress. Her school only had really good air conditioning.

She began to nibble on her pencil eraser as she began to decifer the problem set before her. Advanced Algebra was oten considered hard, and it truely was. But she had fun finding the answers. Soon she had it, just when her ice cream was served. She quickly wrote down the answer while she took a scoop.

"¡Gracias tanto! ¡Usted es un ahorrador de vida!" The girl who had given her the treat gave Esperanza an odd look. "Ah, gomen. Thank you!" The girl gave a small nod. Esperanza sighed, watching the trhong o people pass as she continued to take danty, feminine bites.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru watched the thing pass by. What the hell was that?! It wasn't a demon, he didn't know what it was. It had no aura...it was like, an object....but he didn't understand how it moved as it did. He continued to stare at it as it continued on its way. A car....? A car....He would have Ben explain a 'car' more later. Why was it called a car anyway? Such thoughts and questions swirled in his head as he continued to follow the human.

Sesshomaru stared at the building that Ben was taking him too. It couldn't be anything less then a castle. How did these humans own such homes? Continuing to glance every which way as he continued to follow Ben, his eyes scanning the house Ben brought him to. The seating area, and all the little knick knacks that he still didn't understand.

His eyes were taken away from the walls and floor, and everything inbetween when Ben spoke and handed him some clothing. Sesshomaru held them in his hand, feeling the texture of the frabric, and staring down at it like it was the oddest thing of them all. He was to change into these? Ugh. He held back any sort of comment and walked to the room Ben had said he could change in. Once in the room, he stared at the opening where the door was. It was odd, he was used to sliding doors, and these were different. Though he figured it out quickly, closing it and surprise in how it clicked in place and stayed there.

It took him about five to ten minutes to change...it would have taken a shorter amount of time if he hadn't been distracted by every little thing. Like the odd bowl shaped into the slight table, and the odd metalic thing at the front of the bowl. Then there was the odd thing filled with water and a lid...what the hell was that for? And then there was the tub. Hah, he knew this one! It was used to bathe. Of course, he didn't know how they got the water here when he hadn't noticed any near by. Or did they use the water in the large bowl on the floor?

Finally he changed into the clothes, not knowing how to use the zipper or button on the pants for a few seconds. It was also hard to do with just having one hand. Then the shirt, which he realized had to go over his head intead of just put on by the sleeves like a normal haori.

Of course, after that he had a little trouble trying to figure out how to open the door again. He pushed on it, but it didn't budge, then he began to mess with the knob until he turned it correctly and it opened. He tried to ignore how many idiotic moments he had already had. Soon, he would know every little thing and it wouldn't matter anymore.

Ben was checking his email when sesshomaru came out of the bath room. Ben tapped a few more keys on his laptop and sighed "Nothing from IAFFT yet...oh well kaks is probably still on vacation." Ben stood up and closed his laptop and looked at sesshomaru." Not bad but something's missing...oh yeah now i rember."

Ben went over to his drawers again and pulled out a pair of sock's "These go under your shoe's and these." Ben said holding out a pair of black lace-less shoe's "Are the shoe's that you'll wear....now about that hair...you'll probably need a hat." Ben picked up a ball-cap from the hat stand and held it out to sesshomaru.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

"I will not wear a hat." He snatched the shoes and socks from the boy and walked. No, no hat. No way would he wear that rediculous thing. He was already forced to where these clothes, and that hat wasn't necessary. Ben wasn't wearing a hat, so it must not be needed as the future style. Sesshomaru sat down on the floor, glaring at the socks and shoes and figuring out quickly how to put them on. Once they were on, he stood up and stared at Ben. It wasn't really the hair that needed to be hid, it was more of those markings on his face that would create a problem.

Esperanza tucked away her Algebra. The school bag beside her chair seemed to be quite thick, but the Algebra books were the only school related things in there. Spell books and sketches were all held with in that bag. Esperanza was not he aclaimed genius as was thought in her math class. In fact, she was almost failing all her other subjects. except for art. It was a class she had chosen to go over her gym time. The doctors had said her body was much too weak to participate in such activities. Esperanza did not mind. She hated gym anyway. So it was not much of a problem.

She sighed for perhaps the fifth time in that hour. Her ice cream had long been finished and payed for. She decided to go else where. She picked up her bag, slung it over her shoulder and began on her way to one of her favorite spots. The park.

There were lonely swings, a slide so rickety one wondered if it could ever have been in use, and monkey bars that were rusted rom years of standing in the rain. Esperanza took a seat in one of thses wings. Her large green eyes watched the very few people who passed by here. She shoved her glasses furthar up her nose as she began to swing. No one else ever came to this park, so she wasn't worried about swinging in such a short skirt.

Ben put the hat back on the stand "Fine fine no hat i got it...but those tattos....hmm Oh well." Ben said as he shrugged his shoulder's and opened the door "If anyone ask's...just say your a trekkie or a lord of the rings freak." Ben walked out his door and when sesshomaru walked out he shut and locked the door. Ben turned away and walked down the side walk...."Where to go first...hmm ah!-" Ben was cut off as stomach growled "Oh yeah first things first lets get some food...pizza ok for you?"

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru raised a brow in curiousity when Ben said something about excuses for the 'tattoos' on his face. Of course, they were there since birth, marking sygnifying his rank as a demon lord. Of course, he was more confused on what the heck Ben was saying. A trekkie? And what was the other one he said again? If anything, that was not what he was going to say. He didn't wish to be those things, whatever they were. He was one thing, the demon lord Sesshomaru, no trekkie or 'lord of the rings freak' whatever that is.

Sesshomaru didn't say anything, but followed after Ben as he walked out of the door and closed it behind him. The demon lord couldn't find himself to be comfortable in the clothes he wore now. He wasn't used to these pants that seemed to supposed to be so tight around his legs. He did his best to ignore the need to tug on them in certain places where it seemed too tight.

Sesshomaru was distracted when Ben spoke up again, he showed nothing as he stared at the boy. What was pizza? Some kind of food, he guessed since he had put it in that category. "I don't eat human food." was his stubborn reply. Sesshomaru's attention was taken away from Ben when he could scent something in the air...it was familiar. Something odd in a place such as this.

Confused, and wondering why the scent of his mate was here, he turned and walked down the sidewalk, following the scent trail left behind. What was Brigantia doing here?

Esperanza yawned, stretching. She jumped easily from the swing and picke dup her bag, begining her way away from the park. She didn't want to go home just yet. Where to next then? She paused, staring at the sky for a log moment. The big hill! The only place she knew of where one could watch the clouds easily.

She made sure her pack was tightly secured, then began running towards her destination. She ran past an odd looking man. She figured he must be part of some gang or something. He didn't seem all to comfortable or soemthing, plus there was cofusion and curiosity oozing off of him. Must be a foreigner...

Esperanza made it to the place she wanted to be a few minutes later. She was panting and gasping for air. She searched through her bag before finsing her inhaler. She quickly preformed the action that routinely saved her life, then flopped down in the grass, letting the medicine fall to the ground.

She yawned again, looking at the clouds over head. "So pretty..." she whispered, closing her eyes and falling asleep.

Ben stopped as he noticed sesshomaru stopped following...witch was strange considering sesshomaru dident know the way around here "What?" Ben said as he turned to see sesshomaru walking away "Pizza not your taste or?" Ben cutt himself off as he saw sesshomaru walking by a chinese ramen shop "OH you trator! You'd prefer orental to amarican1?!" Ben cut himself off again as the demon lord walked past the shop...what was he looking for? Ben followed after sesshomaru.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru ignored Ben's chattering. Had he not said before that he didn't eat human food? Ah well, it didn't matter, he was too busy following the all too familiar scent that was Brigantia. Suddenly, it seemed like the scent was coming closer, and he glanced around in every direction before his eyes turned on a girl...who wasn't Brigantia. He could see the features that were the same, but there was also so many thigns that weren't right. Just he features that made Brigantia a butterfly hanyou, and not a human. While this girl was, in fact, human now that he could scent her better.

He watched her as she passed him, knowing now that the scent was different, though it still had a small trace of Brigantia, this girl still had her own scent. How silly of him to think that Brigantia could be in this time, just going about when she was back in the present, or the past.

Then who was the girl. Brigantia's....reincarnation maybe? He frowned just a little. Could it be that he, nor her would live long enough to see this future? Could he seriously die, so young, still not powerful enough to surpass his father? Not only had Brigantia died, but she had died so long ago that she was already reincarnated. So, what happened to him? Could it be possible that his future self was here, or that his reincarnated self was here?

Damn, he didn't want to think about this, he really didn't. He had only come just to see what the future held, not if he would be in it. He really wanted to follow Brigantia's reincarnation, but stopped himself for the fact that it he didn't know what he would do once he caught up with her. What was he supposed to say, that his mater was who she was reincarnate from? No..he would just leave her alone, maybe check on her later. For the time being he was here to have a tour of the future by the human boy.

Ben followed after sessomaru..who seemed to have no set course in mind...he just seemed to be..following something? But he stopped as a woman walked by him...hey wasnt that Esperanza? "Hey esper!" Ben said as she walked past sesshomaru and twoards ben's direction "Long time no see!"

Esperanza sat up. Who had shouted her name? She looked at the boy who seemed to know her. He was somewhat pretty looking, though very young. How did she know him? He was somewhere in her mind. AH! Yes! "You are... umm... Ren? no... Gin? ... no... AH! Ben! I drew you once! What did you do with the money?" Obviously she paid her models. She had more money than was really needed. It didn't matter. "When did you join a gang? Or do you owe something?" She glanced at the direction of Sesshomaru, then back at Ben, then she paused, looking back in Sesshoamru's direction. She opened and closed her mouth a couple of times before she quickly turned and grabbed her iinhaler, breathing deeply from it.

She looked at Sesshomaru again, a fearful sort of look upon her face. She rummaged through her bag and threw open one of her spell books. "¡Usted! ¡Usted es el hombre de mis sueños! ¡Esto no puede ser posible! ¿Cómo el infierno esto está sucediendo?" she rubbed her temples. Esperanza leaned against a tree, she did something Brigantia often did when nervous or troubled, she began to nibble on her bottom lip. Her large eyes were closed as she calculated something. The spell book said nothing about meeting him. He was something from a past life, right? Then what was he doing here? Was he also a reincarnate? Esperanza threw the spell book in frustration. "Hell," she muttered under her breath.

I need a drink... she thought miseribly. She then grabbed Ben by the front of his shirt, needing to take her anger out on something. "Tell me where exactly did you pick him up? Do not lie to me. I can tell. If you lie I swear I'll sue you to the point where you'll have to pay me to take a shit." Her voice had become a low growl. After a moment she let go of him. "Gomen. Today has been hell." She told Ben with a simple wave of her hand. "Just don't answer that question. I don't think I really want to know." She went and sat in the grass, sitting cross legged, leaning back on her hands.

She studied Sesshomaru for a long time. Then something that had often over came her once again took countrol. "W-would it b-be all r-right i-if I d-drew you?" She stuttered nervously, in a very Brigantia like manor. She leaned foreward, her hands resting on her knees.

You see, Esperanza had a sort of... well, thing. When she saw really beautiful people she absolutely had to draw them. She often tried to resist, but it was really useless. It was the same thing with Ben,

"I mean, I-I'll pay y-you! M-money i-is n-n-no object!" Esperanza was blushing furiously now, looking at the ground. No other living person had ever affected her this way. It was a pain. She was a strong girl, no one apporached her for fear of getting their faces beaten in, or being tortured by her gang. Mostly it was all stories, considering too much activity could cause her weak heart to be destroyed, but most probably faint... Though she really was the leader of a gang.
