Tour guide to the future

[Birdie]

Nez gave the tiniest of nods to let Sesshomaru know he was listening. He pocketed the knife, then flipped through the journal to find a page that was most interesting to him. There.

He moved to wards the mirror and picked up a tube of red lipstick on his way. He began to write some runes on the surface of the looking glass. His reflection disappeared and all that remained was the words. "Esperanza... Brigantia.... " Those two names were the only ones that the two of the young men (Sesshomaru and Nez) knew that soul by. It was enough to find her though.

Esperanza was sitting calmly next to Naraku. They were just talking, like normal people. He wasn't touching her in a 'rude' way. He wasn't hitting her. She did not have any bruises. She smiled at him. It was the smile she had used for Nez. The smile Brigantia had given only Sesshomaru.

Nez said something in audible and the picture disappeared. Nez cursed. His hand curled into a fist and he smashed the mirror. His hand made contact. No sound was made. He stared in bewilderment. His hand was stuck through the mirror. He pulled it back. it looked fine. He went and grabbed a chair. He then went through the mirror. He found himself with Naraku, Esperanza, and a few frightened looking cronies in a tea house on the other end of town.

[Lord Sesshomaru]

Sesshomaru stood behind Nez, watching him as he wrote on the mirror and an image appeared. He was shocked at what he saw. Esperanza and Naraku just sitting their acting like long lost friends. And Brigantia's smile...why would she smile like that for Naraku? There was something horribly wrong with this, there truly was. Naraku must have bewitched her, somehow. Must have told her so many lies, it must be. There was no way that Naraku could become so kind that Esperanza would smile at him like that. There was no way!

Sesshomaru was even more shocked when the mirror ended up being a portal, he watched Nez as he punched the mirror, and then entered the mirror and stood before Naraku and Esperanza. For a few moments Sesshomaru did not wish to follow. He could not trust the mirror, and for a few seconds he would be vulnerable. But he wasn't going to let Naraku get away with what he did. Without hesitating he, too, entered the mirror and stood beside Nez, glaring at Naraku wishing he had tokijin with him. But noo, he had to leave it at Ben's place. Damn.

Ah well, he didn't need tokijin. It would be too fast a kill for someone like Naraku. And so, as he waited for some movement, his flexed his claws, his hand glowing green as his poison was collected in his claws, waiting to give the worst suffering there is to imagine from beign poisoned by the powerful demon lord of the western lands.

Esperanza jumped as Nez appeared from her crudely made portal. She whimpered. She glanced at Naraku who gave her a tiny frown. She jumped up and ran into Nez's arms. Nez was stunned at first but then he put an arm around her.

"What did you do to her?"

"Nothing." came Naraku's growling reply.

"As If I can beleive that."

"He's only human." Esperanza murmured against Nez's chest.

"You put some sort of voodoo spell on her!"

"I did not."

"Then what the hell happened."

"Do you think I am so barbaric as to just take any woman?" He demanded of Nez. "You see, a couple of months ago she and I got drunk. We ended up sleeping together. She got pregnant. She didn't tell me. But I found out anyway. Now she's telling me she won't let me see the baby." Naraku yawned, he looked bored.

"He raped me." She murmured. "We did not drink anything. He took me off the streets and..." she couldn't say anymore. She just huddled against Nez. "You're,,,, He?" She nodded slowly. "AND I"VE BEEN LETTING YOU DRINK AND SMOKE?" he sounded mroe angry at himself than her. She drew back from him a little.

"I'm sorry." she hwispered. Nez glared at Naraku, ignoring her.

Sesshomaru had been able to watch the scene calmly where he was, even with Esperanza hugging Nez as she was, he was able to stay calm. But as it all continued, and the conclusion of her becoming pregnant, and Naraku raping her, that crossed the line. No longer could he control his anger. How could she be so...Brigantia like and forgive something like this!!! She acted like it was no big deal...and it only made him think of Brigantia more. A deep growl escaped him, stepping forward a bit he kept his eyes on Naraku. He wanted to kill him so bad...so so bad. But should he? Would there be some punishment for someone from the past killing someone from the future, or would it be the opposite that it only affects?

Sesshomaru closed his eyes, trying to calm his anger when one of Naraku's henchmen made a move toward him, either on accident, or on purpose Sesshomaru quickly decided to take his anger out on the human. With a flick of his wrist his poison whip appeared, and he cut the guys head clean off his body without so much as blinking, and even then his eyes were locked on Naraku.

"We will be leaving now." with that order, he glanced toward Esperanza. In case she wanted to stay, she did seem rather comfy sitting next to Naraku as she had been. But it didn't matter, if any of them didn't like it, then they'd be dead. And if Esperanza didn't like it, well, she'd better keep her mouth shut about it because no matter what she said, they were going to leave.
